GHOST II is a custom-built 37 metre Majesty superyacht designed by award winning Dubai boatbuilders, Gulf Craft. She is specifically created to suit the Australian charter clientele and is finished in the well-known Ghost livery of sparkling silver and jet black. GHOST II accommodates 12 guests in 5 luxurious staterooms.  The unique design of the expansive full length sun deck and lower deck easily caters for up to 110 guests by day in full superyacht luxury.

Whether it be an indulgent holiday to exotic destinations, a corporate event, wedding or product launch, GHOST II is the premier superyacht with the largest capacity. 5 star catering is facilitated by a fully equipped commercially galley. For the adventurous, the garage is stocked with the best water-sports toys, including Yamaha jet ski, 16-foot Castoldi jet tender as well as an optional 36-foot high speed chase and support boat.

The Sun deck has an array of dining locations, a full bar and jacuzzi. For the technology minded, entertainment is provided via a Bang and Olufsen state of the art audio and visual system with In house movies to all cabins. Although incredibly quiet in charter mode, she comes to life when allowed to stretch her legs offshore thanks to the twin Caterpillar C32 engines enabling her to reach a top speed of 21 knots allowing us to quickly take you to the next location for the next part of your adventure!

With spacious and elegant interiors and large panoramic cabin and saloon windows, GHOST II promises guests an unparalleled level of luxury and comfort. The zero speed stabilizers will smooth out the roughest seas and hold the yacht motionless even at anchor. GHOST II combines powerful engineering with contemporary design. Ghost II’s interior layout sleeps up to 12 guests in 5 rooms, including a master suite, 2 double cabins and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 6 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience. Timeless styling, beautiful furnishings and sumptuous seating feature throughout to create an elegant and comfortable atmosphere.

Her leisure and entertainment facilities make her perfect for entertaining friends and family on your charter vacation. There’s ample space for enjoying an alfresco lunch, delicious dinner on deck, or simply lounging in the sunshine and topping up your tan.

She is built with a GRP hull and GRP superstructure, has a maximum speed of 23 knots, and a cruising speed of 17 knots from 25,250- fuel tanks. Her overall combination of style and performance is certainly impressive.

This impressive yacht comes complete with a modern stabilization system to reduce roll motion even during rough seas, and the yacht also has ‘at anchor stabilizers’ to keep things smooth even at anchor/zero speed.

A Jacuzzi on deck is just perfect for relaxing with friends and family, while taking in the breath-taking views after a long day of exploration.

Arrival at the wharf We recommend that your party arrives at the wharf 15 - 30 minutes prior to your charter. All boats need to book the wharves and have a limited time to pick up and drop off your guests.

Safety and Equipment Is the boat safe and in good condition? Yes, the vessel is currently in survey with the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA), which requires comprehensive safety equipment standards and regular safety checks. A safety briefing is given to the charter passengers before embarking and safety gear will be provided if required. All vessels in our fleet are selected for safety, comfort, quality and cleanliness. We are proud to keep them this way. Is the boat suitable for children? Yes, children's lifejackets are available on request. Children must be under adult supervision at all times. Catered Food Options Can we organise a meal on board? Yes, we can recommend some excellent caterers for you where we can design the perfect menu to suit your budget and taste. On Tour Can we have music on board? Yes, the vessel is equipped with a sound system where you can plug in a music compatible device like an iPhone. Please ensure your device is fully charged. Where can we go during our charter? Your skipper can take you most places within Sydney Harbour, providing it is within the surveyed boundaries. Should your guests wish to go to a specific location within Sydney Harbour please let us know at time of briefing. Can we extend our charter time during the charter? Yes, although this is subject to availability. Please note, the charter will be extended based on the decision of the captain on board and payment will be processed post charter by authorised bond. Booking and Payment Can we view the boat before we book our charter? Yes, as the vessel is located at the Rose Bay Marina viewing is possible most days. We recommend that you view the vessel so that you know exactly what the boat has to offer and whether it is suitable for your charter. Please call in advance to check availability and arrange a viewing. How do I secure my booking? A minimum 50% deposit is required to confirm booking, with the balance payable 14 days prior to commencement of the charter. Upon payment of your deposit, a Skippered Charter Contract will be emailed to you, confirming details relevant to your charter, which must be signed and returned. Payment can be made by MasterCard, Visa, EFTPOS, Electronic Funds Transfer or cash. Diners Card, Bankcard and Cheques are not accepted. Is there any paperwork to complete before we go on our charter? Yes, we require your signed contract and authorized bond form prior to your charter commencing. Cancellation If I cancel the charter, can I get a refund? We do not offer refunds should you wish to cancel your charter. If boating conditions are unsafe, as determined by the management of Sydney Harbour Escapes, we will offer a six month voucher where you can reschedule your charter based on availability. Ghost 2 provides excellent protection from the elements because of its covered coach house area and clear roll down awnings that can be rolled out to cover the transom if necessary. Preparations and Arrival What do you advise we bring along for our charter? As conditions can vary on the water, it is suggested that you bring along a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, swimmers, and seasonal jumper or jacket. Please wear white-soled shoes or non-marking boating shoes. Strictly no black soled shoes or stiletto-heeled shoes, as this will damage the decking. Does our party need to get there before the set time of the charter? All your party should be at the designated pick up point at least 15 minutes prior to your charter time to allow loading of passengers and gear and to enable enough time for the skipper's safety briefing. Please note, our charter will start and finish at the times on your contract. Can one of our guests be picked up late and dropped off early from another wharf? Multiple pick up and drop off points are not recommended as this will shorten your charter time significantly. We suggest that guests wishing to join the charter late or leave early should arrange alternative transportation via water taxi at their own cost. Please ask one of the Sydney Harbour Escapes team members for a Water Taxi contact. Boat inspections are welcome by appointment.

A boozed-up karate expert in Japan shattered the jaw of a worker dressed as a ghost because he got startled at a haunted house — then took the spooky theme park to court and lost, reports said.

The suing sensei claimed it was simply a “reflex” when he landed a kick to the face on a worker who had frightened him at the Toei Kyoto Studio Park in 2011, the Sankei newspaper reported last week.

During a 13-year legal battle, the injured “ghost” won a $68,400 settlement from the karate pro as payment for his broken jaw in 2015, the paper reported.

But the half-cocked high-kicker — whose name has not been released — later filed a lawsuit claiming the park was partially responsible for the attack because it failed to train staff to prevent attacks by scared visitors, according to the outlet.

In the lawsuit, he claimed the park didn’t “inform customers that humans were playing the role of ghosts” and demanded it pay 70% of the settlement, the paper reported, according to a translation by the South China Morning Post .

He also argued that the theme park should have prevented him from entering the attraction because he had been drinking, according to InShort News.

But the Osaka High Court ruled against the karate master last month, saying the kick was an overreaction that went “beyond the scope of a reflexive action taken out of sheer fear,” the outlet reported.

“It is difficult to find any justifiable motive or logical rationale [for the attack],” the court stated, noting the park isn’t liable.

“While it is true that the aim of the staff portraying the ghosts is to surprise customers, this is done with the understood principle that the haunted house is something that can be safely enjoyed,” the court reportedly wrote.

The karate expert had entered the haunted house — where several samurai-themed Japanese movies have been shot — holding hands with a co-worker.

In his failed lawsuit, he also claimed there should have been a “physical barrier” between the “ghosts” and the guests.
