2003 - Having organised outfitting solutions...

Having organised outfitting solutions for several new build yachting projects during her career, Brenda realised that there was very little support available for crew, management companies and owners for this particular aspect of the challenge. She set up her own interior outfitting company, called New Wave Interiors, to plug the gap and make the entire process much easier, quicker and smoother to navigate.

2008 - Heavily pregnant with her first baby

Heavily pregnant with her first baby, Brenda completed her final new build yachting project in the role of chief stewardess and promptly focused her attention on growing her shore-based business. She led many new build, refit and other outfitting projects to exceptional styling outcomes worldwide, saving captains, interior managers and other stakeholders lots of time, and replacing uncertainty with peace of mind.

2011 - Two babies and one flourishing business later...

Two babies and one flourishing business later, Brenda decided it was time to broaden the scope of her business. She partnered with Yacht Chandlers to create a dedicated, specialised interiors department. YC Interiors was born and Brenda was named managing director of the European division.

In the same year, Brea joined Brenda. In a small office near Port Vauban in Antibes, they combined their expertise, passion and drive to provide a truly world-class, end-to-end luxury outfitting service. Together, they built the YC Interiors brand.

2012 - Brenda and Brea started to expand the business...

Early in 2012, Brenda and Brea started to expand the business. Their first recruit was a sales manager to support the growth of YC Interiors ’ technical department. The interiors department soon needed to increase headcount too due its rapid growth. An accountant and driver were next to join, and the search for a bigger space was on!

2013-2014 - YC Interiors moved to a bigger office...

YC Interiors moved to a bigger office, with ample warehouse space, near Port Vauban. The team continued to grow. Vicky and Sascha joined the deck and engineering department, Renate assumed responsibility for accountancy, and John took on logistics. Staff numbers doubled from three to six and – outside the office walls – five new babies were born!

2015-2018 - YC Interiors continued to grow...

YC Interiors continued to grow as did the passion of the team behind it. With many of these projects taking place in Holland and Germany, the need for local ground support for new build and refit projects in these countries soon became apparent. The company expanded accordingly. It also extended its service to cover luxury residences around the globe.

2020-2021 - The pandemic hit...

The pandemic hit and suddenly the business world had to get more creative. A team of blue-sky thinkers, we soon came up with many out-of-the-box solutions that enabled us to keep delivering a first-class service to our customers. And business continued to boom! Jeannette, Alex and Sarah joined the team and we opened our flagship showroom in Antibes, opposite Yacht Chandlers ’ state-of-the-art warehouse.

2022 - We could not be more proud of what we have achieved...

This year we were fortunate enough to welcome Andreea and Nicole to our sales team, and Vadym and Ana to our logistics team. John has adjusted his focus to marketing projects while, in the US, Samantha has joined our equally dynamic team there.

We could not be more proud of what we have achieved, nor more grateful to all our partners, clients and colleagues for helping us to get there. Thank you, all! Please continue to support us as we keep our sights firmly set on providing an outstanding outfitting service to crew, interior managers, management companies and owners in the yachting and high-end residence space. We ’ ll continue refining, tweaking and polishing our services, processes and partnerships to ensure that we keep raising the bar in this exciting space. Thank you for being such a vital and valuable part of our journey so far !

What our clients say about us…

I found their services exceptional.

“I have worked with Yacht Chandlers regularly over the last nine years and more recently I worked with them to help set up our 50m new build. I found their services exceptional! Their extensive knowledge and efficient, professional manner really made things easier for me. Communication was clear, prompt and always helpful. I have had no issue with any product supplied by them as the quality has always been to a high standard. If there was ever any minor issue, they were always great in helping sort it out. I have genuinely enjoyed working with them and would use their services again without a doubt. “

Hannah – Chief Stewardess

I highly recommend YC Interiors

“I am continuously approached by other companies trying to poach our business. However, I would never move away from YC Interiors due to the Premium Service that they provide. They are prompt with quotes and go above and beyond to get things ordered under extremely tight timeframes. Whenever deliveries arrive, I have no doubt that everything will be in impeccable order. Not only is their service amazing, their quotes and invoicing is very straightforward and easy to navigate. I highly recommend YC Interiors for any boats who are looking to find an agent for their interior needs!”

Interior Project Manager / Managing Director Europe

I grew up in Holland in a family of sailors. When I finished university, exploring the world on a classic sailing yacht was my obvious choice. I enjoyed life at sea so much that I ended up making a career out of it.

During my 10 years on yachts, I learned there was very little support for interior staff during new build and outfitting projects. This planted an idea of starting an interior outfitting and decorating company for luxury yachts in 2004. In 2011, that company merged with Yacht Chandlers and YC Interiors was born.

At YC Interiors, I love being able to combine my passion for interior design with my love for yachting. I enjoy being part of a team of equally passionate experts who take great pride in their jobs. Together, we are constantly looking for new and innovative solutions to improve both our services and ourselves.

Yachting is a fast-moving industry, which constantly serves up new challenges. When I’m not working, I enjoy running around – literally! Wherever I travel, I bring my running shoes as I love exploring new places during my runs.

Following a successful but stressful career selling Italian wines to restaurants in New York City, I decided it was time for a change. My background in the service industry coupled with a love of travel made a move to superyachts the obvious choice!

After six wonderful, adventurous years onboard various yachts ranging in size from 45 to 85 metres and a new build in Holland, it was time for my next career move. This time my adventure took the form of land-based life in France.

At YC Interiors, I bring vast first-hand experience of life onboard superyachts to luxury outfitting projects. I am passionate about meeting and exceeding all the styling and practical needs of yachts and high-end residences. It’s the best of both worlds.

Although my roots are on the East Coast of the USA, my heart is in the South of France. I love the lifestyle we have here…sea in the summer, mountains in the winter and Italy right next door for the weekends in between. I still enjoy ‘studying’ Italian wine whenever possible.

I grew up in sunny Manchester with a passion for learning languages and travelling to new and warmer places. Having studied for a year in Antibes as part of my degree in French and Italian, I was keen to join the yachting industry and did so straight after graduation. For 10 years, I enjoyed travelling to beautiful places, meeting great people and cruising on boats with incredible itineraries.

I relocated back to Antibes 10 years ago but have remained in the industry ever since, first providing crew cooking services and now working for YC Interiors. I love being part of such a dynamic team, combining all our expertise and passion to create exceptional luxury styling solutions for crew and clients.

When I’m not working, I enjoy taking advantage of all the Cote d’Azur has to offer – beautiful beaches, stunning mountains, great food and the fact that Italy is just down the road! I especially enjoy these beautiful surroundings whilst walking with my Cavalier, Daisy. When I want to unwind, I like to practise yoga or enjoy a great St Germain Spritz in the sun with friends.

I started my career in yachting in 2005 travelling around various beautiful locations in Europe and Asia. I worked my way up to chief stewardess and, five years later, I married my husband John. We have two wonderful children together.

I made the move onshore nine years ago but happily have been able to continue living the yachting dream from Yacht Chandlers’ shore-based office in Antibes. I currently run the deck and engineering department here. I love all the drive, energy and buzz that is part of this exciting industry.

In my spare time, I enjoy relaxing on my own small leisure boat, running and paddle boarding.

I grew up in Hamble in the UK so yachting is in my blood. Regular boat trips with my family and sailing with friends took up most weekends. My most enjoyable early experience of life at sea was being part of a delivery crew on a 65ft Swan. Sailing the ocean from Antigua to the UK, I learnt about many important aspects of yachting which still help me in my job today.

34 years ago, I arrived in the South of France and made my debut in the yachting industry. After many years in various roles – including stewardess, deckhand and crew chef – I decided it was time to put down some roots on land. In the space of a few years, I worked in the hospitality industry, met my husband and started a family. For over 20 years, I combined my love for yachting with the demands of family life by working for a yachting supplies company.

Two years ago, I joined Yacht Chandlers. This job was made for me! I get to bring to the table my yachting experience and my yachting supplies expertise. I love the daily challenges of providing the best prices within often very short timeframes, and always delivering a truly world-class service.

When I’m not working, I enjoy running, cycling and spending time in and on the water!

I started working on yachts 20 years ago with my now husband. For 10 wonderful years, we travelled all over the Mediterranean, the Caribbean and the East Coast of the States. During that time, I held various roles as chef and stewardess.

In 2008, we moved to the South of France to start a family. My first land-based job was in the after-sales team at Ferretti. Later I worked as office manager at Jongert, a Dutch company. Eight years ago, I started my adventure at Yacht Chandlers as account manager. I’m responsible for accounts payable and receivable and I love what I do. There is, quite literally, never a dull moment!

I live in Antibes with my husband and our two children. We really enjoy living here with the sea and mountains on our door step!

Marketing Manager

I have over 20 years of experience in warehouse management and graphic design so my role as warehouse & marketing manager at Yacht Chandlers suits me down to the ground! I particularly love the marketing and social media aspect of my role. We’re always doing new things and delivering fantastic outfitting projects, and I spend a lot of my time telling the world about them.

When you hear the question ‘Do you want to grow within your company?’ think of me. I’m the perfect example of a ‘yes!’ I joined Yacht Chandlers as the driver and outdoor salesperson eight years ago. This position soon transitioned into a dedicated, in-house sales role, in charge of water sports. Today I manage shipping and other logistic matters within our rapidly-growing warehouse. I also head up marketing and events. I’m excited to see what the future holds. We’re growing quickly!

I have a passion for the great outdoors and all the amazing activities it offers. We’re lucky to have a huge choice of outdoor pastimes here on the French Riviera. I enjoy all summer water sports and in the winter, if I’m not working, you’ll find me on my snowboard in the mountains behind us!

Assistant Sales

I was born and raised on the sunny Dalmatian coast of Croatia. Since completing university, I have been immersed in the tourism and hospitality industry, cherishing every moment of my professional journey.

My passion for travel, new experiences, and challenges, coupled with my fondness for warm destinations and the Mediterranean way of life, led me to make the perfect decision to relocate to the south of France in 2019. Upon arrival, I instantly fell in love with the area.

In May 2023, I joined Yacht Chandlers, and I am thoroughly enjoying the vibrant work atmosphere, the camaraderie within the team, and the exhilaration that comes with being a part of the yachting industry. Each day brings new challenges and opportunities that I eagerly anticipate. I am excited about what the future holds with Yacht Chandlers!

I grew up in the beautiful city of Cali, Colombia in the 90’s. Surrounded by mountains and rich culture. Coming from a large family of poverty taught me how to work hard, be determined, passionate, and creative about my approach to life. My mother’s passion has always been Fashion and Interior Design and luckily, I was gifted the same talent. When our family moved to Florida, naturally, my mother flourished in the marine interior design industry. I soon followed after having spent more than 20 years watching her grow her business and perfect her craft.

Joining the US YC Interiors team was like coming home. I am so happy to be able to nurture my passion for everything Interiors! I work hard to meet the needs and exceed the expectations of our clients to deliver that tailored, one-of-a-kind experience.

In my spare time, I tend to my beautiful family and spiritual needs. Living in South Florida, we love to take full advantage of the weather by having a nice beach day. On other occasions I may stroll through the Japanese Gardens, discovering a new tiny shop or explore a museum. I love to cook and serve others, tend to my garden

It’s not the life that you’re born into that matters, it is the life that you create and design for yourself!

I began working and creating luxury events 10 years ago in Toronto, Canada. I built concepts and delivered unique and personal experiences for all my clients over the years in both business and social settings. There was never a dull moment in the ever-changing event world, allowing me to hone my adaptability and organisational capabilities.

My husband and I moved to the Cote d’Azur region during the summer of 2022. Yacht Chandlers seemed like the perfect fit for me to use my knowledge of luxury goods and services while leaning into my creativity in design. I truly am grateful for the amazing team in Antibes and am excited to continue building on the companies’ successes!

I currently live in Nice with my husband and our (Canadian) puppy, Kona. You can find us exploring the beautiful trails of the French Riviera and taking in the local cuisine.

Andreea Dinca

When the opportunity presented itself out of the blue, without any previous plans or expectations, the decision to follow my husband and relocate to the South of France at the end of 2019 came suddenly, but naturally.

After almost 20 years of working experience in Eastern Europe, USA and the Middle East, from marketing, event planning and communication to customer service, sales and beauty consultancy, from handling the security, maintenance and services of building and work facilities, it is now time to accept the challenges of the fast-moving, exciting and constantly changing yachting industry.

Being passionate about travelling, foreign cultures and languages, photography, cooking, hiking, the sea and the great outdoors, sociable and thriving on human interaction, I’m happy to have found a place where I can grow and improve myself while delivering first class service: Yacht Chandlers’ land-based office in Antibes.

Sihat Begaj

Raised in the beautiful Tuscanian green hills, I built a strong passion for travelling which led me to decide to leave my comfort zone at a very young age and to start my journey.

I approached logistics by chance with my first job in a Finnish family-runned business in Belgium specialized in sports products.

Adaptability, positivity and passion into my daily job led me to have a successful work and human experience, which was repeated in my subsequent occupation in North America.

As soon I discovered the chance to work at Yacht Chandlers, I immediately decided to set sail in a world that gives me the opportunity to face new challenges and “horizons” every day.

I love working in synergy with colleagues, customers and suppliers to find the best solution, especially when these “players” are different in terms of language, country, time zones and regulations.
