We rented a 460 Sea Ray Sundancer for 8 hours on our anniversary Jan 6, 2019. I was leery of booking something online in Mexico but the communication, rates and deposit due prior to arrival made me feel at ease. I had multiple questions about weather and other misc things leading up to the day and all emails were replied to in a timely manner. Transportation picked us up from our resort in Playa Mujeres on time. They upgraded us to a larger boat upon arrival. The boat was clean and the crew was very attentive to our needs. They provided guacamole and ceviche for our on board snack - I would recommend asking to upgrade the food to an actual meal if you’re planning on doing the 8 hour day. The weather held up to be a perfect day and they chartered us around to various places per our specifications of what we were looking for. They had food for the fish when snorkeling and quickly stopped by the Isla Mujeres Dock to get more mixers for us so we didn’t have to pay the $30 docking fee to tie up there. It was the most memorable anniversary yet and the crew, yacht, and communication leading up to the day was five stars all around. They even took pictures of us through the trip. I price searched all over the area and their pricing was hands down the best in town! We will be booking through them again our next visit the Cancun without a doubt.

What a great experience!! Nestor was great to work with for the booking and the boat was everything we wanted. Our crew was amazing and the food on board was so amazing! Was the high lite of our vacation, yacht we chartered was exactly as described on website. The crew was very good, and attended to all our needs. We booked yacht for 8 hours, did some snorkeling, swimming, dined at a cafe in Isla Mujeres on shore and cruised the island. I had been working with Nestor for over 7 months to plan my proposal on one of there amazing Yachts. I am sure I asked over 100 questions and with every email Nestor sent back not only was it sent in a timely manor but he answered every question and made me feel everything would run perfectly. The day of my proposal the yacht looked fantastic, the crew was AMAZING, ACCOMIDATING, and all around FLAWLESS! The food that the Capitan and crew handmade was the best meal I had in Cancun! My now fiancé and all my friends and family LOVED this experience. Without Nestor I don't know what I would of done. Please do not hesitate or think twice Cancun Yachts Club is the best! I rented the 460 Sea Ray Sundancer for an 8 hour day. We had a 2 crew on board which included the Captain. They were both extremely laid back and attentive. We rented the Atlantis 55 and it was above our expectations! There was 13 of us and it accommodated everyone. Plenty of room, the food they had on the boat was great as well! The 8 hour trip was perfect! If you're looking for a luxury yacht for your trip to Mexico I highly recommend them!

We had a great time! We were taken to an island where we did get screwed over on the conversion a little bit when they gave us the total and then ran it in Pesos only giving us about a 9.5 conversion rate when it was supposed to be closer to 13. Also the deck crew took it upon themselves to order food on our tab without asking which I guess was fine since we just used it as there tip. Other than that the boat was great and Nester was great to work with!

Booked the boat for a group of 6 people total for a bachelorette party. Everyone had an awesome time and it was the highlight of our trip! The crew went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. Not only did they provide impeccable service but when a hat fell overboard, one of the crew members jumped in the water to retrieve it without hesitation! A great day on a lovely boat with a very attentive crew. We were looked after all day with snorkelling, swimming, fishing, dolphins and paddle boards. A really excellent day.

Chartered a private 40' power boat for 7 hours a couple of weeks back when in Cancun for me and my wife. Ivan was great to deal with on the booking. They made arrangements to pick us up at our hotel, take us to the Marina and return at the end of the day. Cost was very reasonable. Crew of 2 was fantastic and made sure we had everything we needed. Beer and snacks provided. Went snorkeling, cruising around Isla Mujeres, and to North Beach. Well worth it and will do it again next visit. Highly recommend.

If you are looking to go to Holbox by Yacht , we have this amazing Uniesse 48 ′ which can be boarded in Cancun or Isla Mujeres. We recommend this tour if you are planning to spend at least 1 or 2 nights because it is a 4 hours trip to Holbox, which is very far. If you don’t want to spend the night it is recommended to leave at 6-7 a.m. This way you can arrive at 11 a.m. to spend the day there, eat some lobster pizza, watch the flamingoes from the yacht, rent a golf cart to sightsee and make the trip back.

Whichever boat you choose to sail to Holbox can’t navigate at night. If nightfall is at 7 p.m. then the trip back needs to start by 4 p.m. and that’s why we recommend staying at least 1 night there. Also if you have time to spare then you can go fishing. You can visit one of the lagoons and relax while you eat seafood and drink beer at your own leisure.

Body of British tech magnate Mike Lynch recovered, 1 still missing after luxury superyacht sank in freak storm off Sicily. Here's what we know about the incident.

Rescue crews recovered the body of British tech magnate Mike Lynch off the coast of Sicily, the Italian coast guard said Thursday. One woman still remains missing.

Four bodies were recovered on Wednesday by divers searching for six missing passengers who were aboard the Bayesian, a luxury superyacht that sank on Monday after it was caught in the middle of an unexpected and violent storm.

Among the passengers were Lynch's 18-year-old daughter and "associates who had successfully defended him in a recent U.S. federal fraud trial," the Associated Press reported .

What happened?

The Bayesian capsized about half a mile off the coast of Porticello, a small fishing village. There were 22 people on board — 12 passengers and 10 crew members. The City Council of Bagheria said in a statement that seven adults were taken to the emergency room following the rescue, but “it seems that none are in serious conditions.”

While crews searched for the remaining bodies, others are trying to confirm why the boat sank in the first place. According to a BBC report , a heavy storm hit the coast of Sicily and created waterspouts , which are tornadoes that form over water. The waterspout winds were so powerful that they broke the boat’s mast in half, causing the ship, which was anchored, to lose its balance and sink.

The U.K.’s Marine Accident Investigation Branch plans to send a team of four investigators to make a preliminary assessment of why the Bayesian sank and why people were still on board.

As the ship was going down, 15 people were able to make it to safety and were rescued by a nearby boat.

The crew on a Dutch-flagged vessel nearby noticed the yacht had disappeared and saw flares being set off in the sea. They went to help survivors before the Italian coast guard could arrive.

One British passenger, Charlotte Golunski, told reporters she kept her 1-year-old daughter alive by holding her up above the water until they got on a lifeboat.

What to know about the Bayesian

Charter sites list the yacht’s weekly rent as $215,000, the Associated Press reported .

Boat International , a superyacht and luxury yacht guide, reported that the Bayesian had the tallest aluminum mast in the world at over 240 feet, making it one of the 50 largest sailing yachts in the world.

Who is Mike Lynch?

Lynch, 59, founded the software firm Autonomy and recently faced a legal battle with U.S.-based Hewlett-Packard after the tech company accused him of inflating Autonomy’s value in an $11 billion sale in 2011.

Lynch was acquitted of multiple fraud charges in June after a three-month trial, avoiding a potential 20-year jail sentence.

A man has died after falling into a river while trying to get on to a boat - becoming the sixth death in water in the East of England in less than a month.

The man, aged in his 50s, was recovered from the water by emergency services but was declared dead shortly after.

He fell in to the River Bure near North River Road in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, at 9.10pm on Tuesday while trying to board a rented boat.

The family of the man had been informed, said Norfolk Police. The death was being treated as unexplained but was not thought to be suspicious, added a spokesman.

The death follows other apparent drownings in the region over the summer.

On 31 July, the body of kayaker Cory Chilvers was recovered from near Wiggenhall St Germans in west Norfolk. He had gone missing three days earlier after being seen capsizing.
