• Can I pay at the boarding point? The rate mentioned on the website is valid only if booked online on bookmytour.ae
• What are the timings of  Cruise? The Cruise operates daily and boarding starts from 7:45 PM onwards, and the cruise departs by 8:30 PM.
• What happens in case I missed the cruise?  In the event of no show, the booking will be marked as absent and 100% charges will apply.
• How does the seating work? The boat has 2 decks – lower deck is air-conditioned and open air upper deck. Kindly mentioned your preferred seating deck in the message section of the booking form (subject to availability)
• What should I wear to the Dhow Cruise Dinner in Dubai? It is advisable to wear smart casuals or formal dress. Short dresses, slippers are not allowed.

Having lived in Dubai for 27 years, dhow cruises are something that I’ve been accustomed to since I was little – right from attending dad’s office party in a dhow to attending my own office parties in a yacht and everything in between. But going under the Business Bay canal and watching the water curtain open up as we passed through was something still unchecked on my list.

Thanks to Unique Desert Tours, I celebrated Day 2 of the UAE National Day long weekend cruising away on a 2 hour long catamaran trip that starts from Jaddaf waterfront (right behind Palazzo Versace) and passes through Festival City and Business Bay, all the way through the canal before making a u-turn and cruising back to base.

For AED 200 per person, this cruise includes a good selection of food, drinks, tanoura dance and karaoke performance by an Arab artist who sings everything from English and Arabic songs to even Hindi and Turkish numbers. This catamaran cruise also makes a great option for corporate parties, private functions and more.

Then we set sail for a scenic 1.5 hr voyage to the picturesque Ilot Gabriel, where you will be able to swim, snorkel or visit the island. A buffet lunch will be served at 13h00 and at 14h30 we will say goodbye to Ilot Gabriel. Relax and reminisce as we head back to our starting point.
