This Barramundi 470, weighing 6 tons, was constructed by the Barramundi Boat A yard is a cylindrical spar, metal or wooden, which is fixed or hinged to the mast and which extends outwards horizontally at different heights and which supports and extends the sails., (an experienced French shipyard in building Le Rouge epoxy boats and which transferred production from Europe to Sri Lanka) - the Erik Lerouge design has been proved on multiple circumnavigations, notably on catamarans such as the Freydis from the Soubise shipyard.The classic rigging, "Wild One", takes nothing away from its top qualities (unlike the wing masts on other existing Barramundi models) and makes it even better adapted to long-haul voyages. DESCRIPTION
This Lerouge design displaces just over 7 tons for 47 feet of waterline. It sports a carbon rotating mast, hydranet sails and has tiller steering. It is an all epoxy resin, corecell construction. It has just about all of the amenities for comfortable bluewater cruising you could wish for (watermaker, fridge, freezer, Lavac head, full NKE instruments) and yet relies on solar panels and a hydro-generator to run its systems.

It has just about all of the amenities for comfortable bluewater cruising you could wish for (watermaker, fridge, freezer, Lavac head, full NKE instruments) and yet relies on solar panels and a hydro-generator to run its systems. All of this amounts to the dream cat to cover long distances efficiently and securely. She has just completed an exciting circumnavigation with a family of three to prove it.

Built with all hi tech materials and vacuum infused with epoxy she was kept as light as possible by her owners, and this has payed them back with regular 240 Nm days, they report 4 knots in only 5 knots of wind and average speeds of 9-10 Knots which could be higher if they wanted to push. She comes with transferable 10 Year hull, 5 year mast , boom & rigging and a 2 years builders work warrantee. The owners need to return to work and child to school so this ocean greyhound is on the market at a very realistic price. These boat details are subject to contract. I propose to lift a Barramundi 470 using a Roodberg hydraulic trailer with an underbridge lift capacity spanning a length of 4.6m, the pads are 420mm wide, thus a low pressure contact.
