The motor yacht KISMET is a 68 m 224 (foot) lengthy steel boat which was produced by Lurssen Yachts and designed by Lurssen and Espen Oeino. A impressive tri deck yacht KISMET is a very distinctive German built superyacht which was launched to celebration in 2006. Accommodating 12 guests and 22 qualified crew, motor yacht KISMET used to be (Project Falcon) which was her build project name or yacht title. She could be described as a recent tri deck yacht. Launched to celebration in the year of 2006 her interior decoration exhibits the insight of Reymond Langton Design.

Lurssen was the naval architecture company involved in the professional vessel composition for KISMET. Her interior design was completed by Reymond Langton Design. Lurssen and Espen Oeino is also associated with the yacht general design work for this yacht. Built at Lurssen Yachts this vessel was built in the recognised yachting country Germany. She was officially launched in Rendsburg in 2006 before being delivered to the owner. The main hull was built out of steel. The motor yacht superstructure is made mostly using aluminium. With a beam of 12.8 m or 41.1 feet KISMET has impressive size. A reasonably deep draught of 3.65m (12ft) affects the amount of certain marinas she can visit, taking into account their minimum characteristics.

Powered by twin CATERPILLAR diesel engines, KISMET can attain a maximum speed of 16 knots. KISMET is propelled by twin screw propellers. She also has an economical range of 5000 nautical miles whilst sailing at her cruise speed of 14 knots. Her total HP is 3914 HP and her total Kilowatts are 3000. With respect to the ship’s stabalisers she uses Quantum Zero Speed 4 Fin.

With summer fast upon us, enjoy a sneak peek inside one of the most sought-after superyachts available to charter in the Mediterranean this season – and our Travel Issue cover star

With wall-to-wall sunshine, beautiful coasts and islands to explore, and an abundance of world-class hotels, restaurants and entertainment, it’s no surprise that the Côte d’Azur attracts the globe’s glitterati each summer. But with visitors descending in their droves, the elite head out to sea for the ultimate holiday of opulence and seclusion on a private yacht.

Offering a singular base, with total privacy the brand-new 122 metre Lürssen superyacht Kismet , is the newest and largest superyacht available to charter in the Mediterranean this summer.

“It’s the most elaborate yacht ever conceived and delivered,” says Chris Cecil-Wright, founder of the yacht’s central agent Cecil Wright says. “It’s available in its first year after delivery so it’s brand spanking new for charter guests, which is pretty unusual. The variety of amenities onboard is astonishing – there’s nothing and personalised service that exceeds the region’s best hotels, yacht chartering is the ultimate way to enjoy the wonders of the Mediterranean.”

Built by the renowned German shipyard Lürssen with exterior by Nuvolari Lenard and an interior design led by the Client’s family working alongside Reymond Langton Design , Kismet (formerly known as Project Jag) represents the pinnacle of what the industry has to offer.

Across six beautifully designed decks, the 122-metre superyacht can accommodate up to 12 guests in eight cabins. The pinnacle is the serene two-deck master suite with a huge bedroom, two bathrooms and dressing rooms, a magnificent skylight and fireplace, a hot tub and sunbathing area, and an office boasting panoramic views. The guest cabins are equally exquisite with comfortably furnishings and flexible configurations to suit all parties.

Wellness is a key facet of the yacht’s design she features a dedicated space on the lower deck accessible via the futuristic ‘Tron corridor’. Here, guests can indulge in rejuvenating treatments in a Balinese-inspired spa with hammam, sauna, and cryotherapy chamber. There’s also a gym and yoga studio with fold-out terraces, and hair and beauty salons.

When the Mediterranean sun hits, guests can cool off in Kismet’s three pools – choose from a large hot tub pool with waterfall feature on the top deck, a large pool with a waterfall feature and swim up bar on the pool deck aft, and a hot tub pool forward on the upper deck. And when it cools, warm up beside firepits and enjoy evenings under the stars.

When it comes to entertainment there’s array of amenities to suit everyone, including outdoor and indoor cinemas, an underwater viewing lounge and a basketball and pickleball court. For evening soirées, there’s a DJ station overhanging the bridge deck aft, a Boganyi grand piano within the upper deck and four interior bars, including a champagne bar and wine cellar room.

Gastronomy is a highlight of every charter and Kismet’s crew offer culinary options ranging from Michelin star formal dining to more casual teppanyaki-style dining experiences and pizza nights prepared in an al fresco kitchen.

And with dedicated crew of 36 plus Captain catering to a guest’s every requirement and providing three-to-one service, Kismet sets a new standard for excellence in the industry. For ultimate freedom and flexibility, she’s completed with a fleet of four tenders, a full array of water toys, and a helipad accommodating an H155 helicopter (or similar) for discreet arrivals and departures.

The striking 400.3ft (122m) superyacht charter KISMET has been successfully delivered to its owner. Following on from her initial launch in August 2023, the captivating Lürssen yacht charter gracefully completed her sea trials and showcases the pinnacle of engineering and design. 

Previously known as PROJECT JAG and among the largest yachts for charter , superyacht charter KISMET is instantly recognizable with her Jaguar Emblem under the bowsprit , with styling that mirrors the grandeur of Lürssen's notable creations such as charter yacht PHOENIX 2 and motor yacht charter WHISPER . Crafted with a six-deck exterior by Nuvolari Lenard, KISMET boasts an eclectic and luxurious interior courtesy of Reymond Langton Design.

KISMET is a custom motor yacht launched in 2023 by Lurssen Yachts, in Germany.

Lürssen has remained a family-run German shipyard since its inception in 1875 and is now in its fourth generation of private ownership. The company was founded by Friedrich Lürssen with a desire to create a leading shipyard in both quality and performance.

KISMET measures 122 metres in length, with a max draft of 4.8 feet and a beam of 17.8 feet.

KISMET has a steel hull.

It is not necessary to live, it is necessary to sail; This is the firm belief of Italian design company Nuvolari & Lenard. No stranger to high-profile yacht design, the studio has stamped its distinctive style on a number of the ocean’s biggest and brightest.

Her interior design is by Reymond Langton Design.

Accommodation

KISMET accommodates up to 20 guests in 11 cabins. She also houses room for up to 40 crew members.

Designed by Italian firm Nuvolari Lenard, Kismet 2.0 is 88 feet longer than its predecessor and weighs twice as much. The behemoth has an interior volume of 5,500 GT, in fact. Even at such a size, Kismet showcases harmonious proportions and sleek, elegant lines. The mast and bow, for instance, were modeled after a leaping jaguar and to ensure a distinctive profile.

Khan once again enlisted U.K. studio Reymond Langton Design to bring the interior to life. The billionaire is known to have very specific and clearly quite lavish taste. He requested the interior of the original Kismet reflect a “Champagne and caviar” theme, for example. The second Kismet is equally extravagant. A two-level open-plan entrance area with sweeping video walls leads to stylish living quarters that span some six decks.

The layout includes between eight and nine cabins for up to 12 guests and cabins for 36 crew. In addition, the owner’s suite comprises a spacious stateroom, dual bathrooms, two dressing rooms, and a private terrace with a Jacuzzi. Above, the owner’s office offers panoramic views, a conference table for up to six, and a dedicated pantry.

“The owner’s brief was challenging,” Peter Lürßen, managing director of Lürssen, said in a statement. “However, we believe that with our technical expertise, we have fulfilled the owner’s wish and vision for a yacht that will still be timeless and ahead of its time for many years to come.”

Built under the supervision of the Moran  yacht construction team, the 95m WHISPER (ex. KISMET) yacht was delivered by luxury yacht builders Lurssen in 2014. This award-winning superyacht features a gorgeous exterior design by Espen Oeino and a decadent interior by the world-renowned Reymond Langton Design.

The Lurssen yacht WHISPER, can accommodate 16 guests in 8 opulent staterooms, with the master stateroom featuring a private deck complete with a Jacuzzi and access to the yacht’s helipad. Other features included a spacious sundeck complete with a swimming pool, full-service spa, and a one-of-a-kind retractable outdoor fireplace.

With a sweet and sour charge comes rhubarb, with its fruity echo, to which the icy touches of lily-of-the-valley and the tender embrace of pink rose resonate, creating a floral sweetness and a subtle headiness. Swinging into a sweet mystery, these are notes of ambroxan with amber-musk nuances, a touch of chypre in the form of oak moss and the milky smoothness of sandalwood, then close the fragrance.
