This 12-meter sailing catamaran offers the very essence of cruising: safety, well-being and conviviality.
An elegant blue-water sailing catamaran
The New 41 is the perfect blend of elegance, performance and habitability.
A true lesson in design: the horizontal lines of this compact 41-footer catamaran have been stretched to offer levels of harmony and elegance usually only seen on much larger models. This well-canvassed catamaran certainly knows how to lengthen her stride on long passages, while remaining fun and easy to handle close to the shore. The deck layout incorporates the double helm and manoeuvring station so popular on all the other models in the range: the skipper now has a pod housing all the instruments. As for the crew, they will find new areas for relaxation: sun loungers on the bimini and forward of the coachroof, not forgetting the ingenious lounger integrated into the port transom.

Unique design and incomparable spaces.
The New 41 is available in a “maestro” owner’s version: the port hull becomes a genuine suite. The “quatuor” version offers 4 cabins and 2 to 4 bathrooms. In all the cabins, you can enjoy sea views through the large windows and very wide beds thanks to the chines in the hull.

Innovative, high-tech composite materials constitute most of the structure of our sailing catamarans: hulls, flybridge, decks, bulkheads and more. Fountaine Pajot has perfected a resin injection and infusion technique, an advanced technology that gives our boats all their robustness. Thanks to this expertise, we can make our catamarans considerably lighter while maintaining consistent quality . Injection also makes it possible to meet the most stringent environmental requirements, in line with the commitments of the Fountaine Pajot Group.
Sailing catamarans from 40 to 50 feet are built at the Aigrefeuille headquarters, a few kilometres from La Rochelle. Catamaran yachts from 51 to 80 feet are built in La Rochelle, France, where they benefit from a slipway.

The unique design of the helm station allows good communication between the aft cockpit and the Fly relaxation areas. Of course, your level of navigation will determine your ability to sail with two or more persons!

Brand: Maine Cat 41
Lightness, Visibility, Balance, and Security are crucial elements for a cruising catamaran. The Maine Cat 41 pays homage to these critical elements of cruising safety and comfort. It is a sailors’ catamaran and a true performance cruising catamaran. It is intelligently different from most catamarans you will see.
There is no saloon! Instead there is a command bridgedeck that combines the functions of a cockpit and saloon into one large, bright, comfortable, functional and secure space. The helm is dead center at the center of least motion for the entire vessel. Visibility is perfect. You can see everything everywhere at a glance from the helm. There are no blind spots. Nothing is in the way and you can easily control all aspects of the boat. You can feel everything too and feel the motion and balance through the soles of your feet. It is like you are wearing a cruising machine rather than being perched catawampus upon or atop one. Your crew surround you immediately at hand. Perhaps they are resting, nested in the convertible king-sized dinette on a long passage. Perhaps they are putting in a reef without ever leaving the command bridge. Maybe they are snug by your side at the helm. Or they could be lounging on the aft settees in harbor with the enclosure rolled up secure from the elements and enjoying the breeze.
The easily-driven hulls have a 10.5:1 fineness ratio that nicely balances performance and carrying capacity. You can motor up to 10 knots. You can sail up to 18. You can bleed off the energy of an unexpected gust by accelerating gracefully. You can move easily in light air.
Maine Cat boats have no liners or structural grids. There’s no wood in them, not in bulkheads or decks. The only wood is in the doors and interior trim. All assemblies are vacuum-bagged Corecell composites.
According to Vermeulen, a Maine Cat 41 equipped to cruise weighs 14,000 pounds, which allows for a realistic cruising payload before it reaches its design displacement of 19,200 pounds.

Mfg Accommodations: | The hulls are separated from the bridgedeck by secure amidship companionways that can be completely closed off. This offers peace of mind and peace and quiet. The hulls are light and open once you go below. The queen berths are amidship where there is least motion on a passage and you sleep securely guarded by the daggerboard trunks. The berths are easy to get in and out of from their foot or their side. The starboard hull is an owner's oasis. The port hull a gourmet's and guest's dream. Both are easily ventilated with numerous opening ports and hatches. The interiors are gel coated and easy to clean with long lines of site and 6'8" headroom. Nothing is hidden. Everything is accessible. This is so important. What can be easily maintained gets maintained! |

Together with performance, the other watchword of the lagoon 410 is comfort – roomy, ergonomically correct comfort. for example, the salon is larger than on the former lagoon 47. much of the lagoon’s good windward ability is due to the fixed keels. while you still have the shoal draft that is one of the cat’s major advantages, a good keel will significantly reduce leeway. a look astern on a beam reach with winds gusting to 25 knots true will show a clean wake, with nearly a rooster tail from each hull as the boat gets into the low double digits of speed the 41 lagoon luxury catamaran is perfect for any kind of sea escape. an excellent choice for private or corporate entertainment. ask about our affordable term charters to florida keys and the bahamas..

RECOMMENDED OPTIONS
BATTERY LITHIUM UPGRADE (720AH)
Change from the traditional AGM battery system to a high capacity Lithium system from Mastervolt. This option not only upgrades the batteries but also modifies the entire charging system ensuring a total compatible system including upgraded mastervolt alternators and regulators, additional AGM start battery and DC/DC charging unit.
B&G FORWARD SCAN OPTION
Explore poorly-chartered or unfamiliar waters confidently, avoid upcoming dangers or obstructions and set custom shallow depth alarms with B&G’s forward-looking sensor. With an effective range eight times the actual depth, ForwardScan® helps you avoid groundings or damage to keels and rudders while pinpointing the ideal spot for anchoring.
DUAL TELEFLEX ENGINE CONTROLS - MECHANICAL
This option gives the skipper the ability to control the engines from both helms delivering the optimum in boat handelling capability and maneuvering.
ANCHOR BRIDLE
One of the few shortcommings of a catamaran is its’ tendancy not to stay head to wind on anchor. As wind blows across the bows the boat will tend to twist from side to side around the anchor chain. This effect is combatted by the use of an anchor bridle.
MARINE VINYL COCKPIT FLOORING
This foam backed waterproof marine flooring by Infinity Luxury Woven Vinyl will help keep your cockpit clean and tidy, It reduces pressure on your heels when barefoot onboard and looks super classy!
C-ZONE DIGITAL SWITCHING (DC)
The sleek CZone® touch screen digital switching system provides a lightweight sophisticated switching system enabelling control and monetoring of your vessel through the navigation tables touch screen display or through WiFi connection the system can also be controlled at the helm mounted chart plotter or wirelessly via tablet or smartphone.
SOLAR PANEL UPGRADE FROM 2X 125W TO 2X 210W RIGID AND 2X 320W FLUSH PANELS
In this configuration we installed 2x 320w flush panels on the hardtop and 2x 210w framed panels off the back of the targa arch giving a total of 1060W. The flush mount panels can contour to the shape of the roof and can therefore cover more surface area, their weakness however is reduced efficiency (our tests showed a 10% reduction compared to the framed panels of equivalent wattage).
PROPELLER 3 BLADE GORI FOLDING UPGRADE
A great upgrade for Yanmar inboard diesel engines the 3 blade Gori folding propeller’s “overdrive” function adds a new dimension to sailing under power. The helmsman can choose the propeller pitch and profile in the water while sailing forward, by regulating the yacht’s shift and throttle control.
UPGRADE TO 12" ZEUS3 CHARTPLOTTER
The Zeus³-12 is a complete chartplotter navigation system for blue water cruisers and regatta racers. This high-performance multi-function display features a 12″ diagonal widescreen display, incorporating SolarMAX™ HD technology for brilliant daytime visibility and ultra-wide viewing angles.
B&G AUTOPILOT REMOTE
Stay in control, wherever you are on board. Incorporating long-range Bluetooth technology for up to 30 metres range in a compact and lightweight package, the WR10 wireless remote works with Simrad autopilot systems to enable precise heading adjustments and autopilot control.
SATELITE PHONE/DATA WIFI ROUTER IRIDIUM GO
The IRIDIUM GO! is a satellite wifi router/phone. Once installed in the boat the boat will have a wifi hotspot the same as any office/home and all devices (phones, computers, chartplotters, c-zone etc) can then easily be connected to the internet. The unit is made by Iridium and the service provider is a company called PredictWind, which also supply the Iridium GO! kit with all parts needed including a pre-activated SIM card.

The Lipari 41 from Fountaine Pajot could be characterized as a typical cruising cat for its size. It has spacious accommodations, relatively high freeboard, a raised saloon with excellent visibility, and comes with a choice of layouts. And like similar cruising cats, it may not sail to weather like a narrow monohull, but off the wind, it’ll leave all but full-bore racing monohulls in the dust.
The Lipari also follows some of the newest design trends in cruising cats. It has significant headroom below and essential bridgedeck clearance that comes at the cost of increased windage. It’s also available in a three- or four-cabin configuration, with the three-cabin layout dedicating the entire starboard hull to the owner’s digs. Also, instead of the canvas bimini raised above the saloon’s coach roof that you’ll find on older cats, the Lipari follows the trend of simply extending the saloon coach roof over what could be called the cockpit but might more accurately be termed the “exterior lounge area.” You lose the “pillbox slit” between coach roof and bimini that’s found on older cats and retain visibility forward through the saloon windows and through the hatch in the roof for the raised helm station. The large cockpit roof also provides a solid and unbroken platform on which the crew can handle the mainsail and mount solar panels. The helm station centralizes the running rigging and provides seamless access to the deck as well as sightlines to the boat’s perimeter, or at least most of it.
The significant differences between the Lipari and other cats rest in devilish details and chosen compromises. Fountaine Pajot’s decks and hulls are PVC cored and vacuum bagged. The decks are among the biggest resin-infused parts in the world, and all tabbing and other construction details I looked at appeared clean and well executed. The Lipari is generally lighter and a bit more performance oriented than some of the other cats in its size range. Its sail area-to-displacement ratio also is a little higher than the other cats, providing a bit more power per pound. And by keeping freeboard just a touch lower and utilizing the increasingly popular and highly efficient full-battened square-headed mainsail, the mast height can be lower than similarly sized cats. This lowers the center of effort and reduces pitching. When it’s all added up, the Lipari 41 is spacious and comfortable both inside and out, and it’s no slouch under sail.
The 41’s performance orientation results in appointments that are slightly more minimal than those aboard the competition. The light and airy interior has a contemporary flair that one of Cruising World’s Boat of the Year judges described as IKEA-like. An example? The shower in the owner’s hull takes up a portion of the hull but is only partially partitioned; to take a shower, you must first snake a removable sink faucet through a hole in the partition to serve as the showerhead. Elsewhere, some lockers lack doors or covers. The interior is lightweight, and functional, but those wedded to traditional looks and fancy cabinetry may miss them on this boat. Also, if you’re heading offshore, where the world sometimes turns into a carnival ride, you may want more robust gear retainers and a few more handholds.
That said, the layout is spacious and workable. The berths are all large, and the cabins are well ventilated. Thanks to a flared chine inboard and above the waterline, the forward berths are even a little wider than you’ll find on many similarly sized cats. Some folks may bemoan crawling over the berth ends, but once you’re in, you’ll enjoy greater berth width and security. The galley features a stainless-steel double sink, a three-burner stove and separate oven, and good stowage space. The settee is simple and provides comfortable seating for four to six people. It also doubles as a good sea berth that’s handy to the cockpit. The nav station is adequate to modern needs.
The deck layout works pretty well, although taller BOTY judges knocked noggins on the cockpit roof, particularly when en route to the port side deck. On the positive side, the large sliding glass companionway door can be locked open to create a seamless transition between inside and outside. Lifelines and stanchions are sized properly, and the stanchions are securely bolted through a molded toerail. The engine hatches are well above water, and they open athwartships so the crew can work on the engines in any weather.
The anchoring system deploys the hook from its rollers that exit the fairing just forward of the main beam. Halyard tails are designed to fall into these large lockers, too, but owners will likely want to install halyard bags or bins to keep loose tails from becoming entangled with ground tackle, and the large locker top might better be divided to reduce windage when open.
It was pretty boisterous off Annapolis, Maryland, when we finally got out for our test sail of the Lipari 41 after the U.S. Sailboat Show. But once we got a reef tucked into the main, the Lipari stood up to the bashing briny, blasting along at 9 to 10 knots in 22 knots of wind with higher gusts. It also maneuvered easily and tacked from reach to reach without any hint of stalling. The seas were quite choppy, but we experienced no bridgedeck pounding.
Since the engines are placed well aft, the stern sections are full enough to keep the transoms from dragging. The placement of the engines also helps minimize the maintenance mess and engine noise in the aft cabins. Thanks to the boat’s twin 20-horsepower Volvo diesels (30-horsepower engines are optional), we wheeled about under power like a dancer and steamed at an easy 7 to 8 knots at 2,200 to 3,200 rpm. The boat’s significant tankage and battery capacity makes long-range cruising possible whether the wind blows or not. With less than 4 feet of draft, the Lipari can also sneak into shallow gunkholes as well.
If the latest tendency in cruising-cat design is to combine good sailing performance with minimal yet ultracomfortable interior accommodations, then the Lipari 41 is heading in the right direction.

DCB Performance Marine, LLC
Designed by DCB founder Dave Hemmingson, the 2nd largest model in DCB’s celebrated MSeries offers Class A Surfacing, a first in the performance boat industry. Parametrically math sculpted in Unigraphics NX CAD software with the help of leading automotive-based designer Rod Trenne, the M41 Widebody blends precision engineering and phenomenal styling to create a seamless piece of art.
With the 41-foot catamaran’s deck and hull finished in the virtual world, the data was transferred to a 100-foot 5-axis numerically controlled machine and milled out full size. The result was beyond impressive. Combining the stunning Class A Surfacing—an automotive term for achieving optically and mathematically distortion-free highlights and reflections over a given surface or shape—with exceptional performance at any speed, the M41 is like nothing else on the water.

Is it necessary for me to be concerned about becoming seasick?
Please visit your physician before your tour, follow their advice, and carry any medications that they prescribe. Please don\'t overdo it on the alcohol the night before!
What is the difference between a Private Charter and a Regular/ Shared/ Public Charter?
We only provide private charter in most regions, which means a boat trip with no other passengers, you rent out the entire boat with a Captain/ skipper just for your own group/ party. Yet in some regions, we do also provide shared charters. A shared charter is a fantastic choice if you would like to interact with new people and make new friends. Moreover, it reduces the cost of the trip.
Do you offer bareboat charters?
Yes, we do offer bareboat charters in a few areas. By selecting the "BAREBOAT CHARTER" category, you may choose an ideal boat for your next vacation.
