The staff is exceptionally attentive and friendly. Their buffets are outstanding and the regular menu changes frequently to keep things exciting! The bar drinks are phenomenal with great IPAs on tap and fabulous bartenders who knows so many drink options. It's our Cambridge CHEERS bar... friendly and fun...ALWAYS!!! Come see for yourself!

Beautiful views of the Choptank River and the entire Chesapeake Bay. Membership has it's privileges with access to the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort, Spa and Marina in Cambridge, MD. Loved the people as they were very friendly and helpful with entire experience for boating, fishing and sailing. Needs a few updates at the boat docks, but all-in-all, very nice.

We went as guests of members for New Year's Eve. Like many country and golf clubs these days, the food is more and more hit or miss. This night was a three-choice dinner--chicken, NY Strip, or rockfish stuffed with jumbo lump Crab Imperial. We all chose the rock. Moist and warm, but not quite hot enough. Crab was excellent, but the overall portion was small. Sliced new potatoes on the side with a cream sauce was excellent. Dessert was a melon sorbet with blueberries--also good. House wines by the glass were average, especially the cab, which was thin. For a yacht club, one might have expected a four or five-star experience.

NEVER AGAIN!!!!This is a yacht Club with a marina. We were sent an email telling us what slip we were going to be in. Before we got to the marina, about a mile out we tried hailing them. We have a 50' Motor yacht and need help docking it. We tried 4 more times to hail them, but no answer. As we pulled in, we did a pump out and a fill up at Cambridge Municipal Yacht Basin. We expressed our frustration to them about not getting anybody on the radio. Unfortunately they couldn't help us based on the fact it is a different marina. We finally got to our assigned dock and no one in site to help us. We eventually docked and my husband went to the Yacht Club to complain about nobody answering and no help. She said they don't have dock hands! How do you run a marina with no dock hands? Then her boss calls my husband and tells him that if we own a 50' dock, we should know how to dock it alone. My husband then cancelled our stay and the next two nights and we went back to Cambridge Yacht Basin where they were happy to have us; Treated us like wanted guests, helped us tie up and gave us a gift bag. Again, how do you have a marina with no dock hands?? What a joke!!

The club is private and the views of the Choptank River are spectacular. Management and staff are new since 2016; customer service is their focal point. There is also a new chef, Gregory, who has really improved their menu; seafood are a specialty: locally sourced crabs, oysters and rockfish are always fresh. Price/value is excellent as well. So join -- boat ownership is not needed -- or find a member and go!

My wife and I went there for a Christmas fund raiser. The buffet dinner consisted of fatty, tough roast beef, Crab imperial (the crab meat was so old it smelled of ammonia) served over a disgusting inedible piece of fish. The roast potatoes were ok, but the asparagus was the size of redwood trees - gross. Desert was some type of nondescript cake. The service was very good, but I would not want to go back there again.
