The 164-foot (49.98m) Mangusta 165E Superyacht DA VINCI is truly an evolutionary motor yacht, as the “E” in the model name stands for “evolution.”

Delivered in March 2017, DA VINCI has stunning built-for-speed lines and can reach a maximum speed of more than 38 knots, which will seduce discerning clients and thrill-seekers.

Her top performance does not outweigh the stunning style of this yacht. DA VINCI features blonde teak plank flooring and exceptionally wide side decks with impressive sightlines past the shapely superstructure. Her on-deck layout is extremely spacious. Powered by four MTU engines, her cruising speed of 21 knots is faster than the top speed of many others. She can be pushed to a maximum of 38 knots if you need to zoom to your next anchorage.

The interiors of the Da Vinci yacht are from the in-house team at Overmarine and are the epitome of high-end glamour. Marble and chrome contrast the bleached oak flooring to create a highly polished effect.

Your DA VINCI yacht charter can accommodate 12 guests in six lower-deck cabins. The full-beam master suite has windows on either side and a beautifully opulent marble en suite bathroom, while the rest of the cabins comprise a VIP cabin, two doubles, a twin and a convertible.

Genf – Ein bisher verschollen geglaubtes Meisterwerk von Leonardo da Vinci ist nach Jahren des Rätselratens wieder aufgetaucht. Das Gemälde „Salvator Mundi“, das 2017 bei einer Auktion einen Rekordpreis von 450 Millionen Dollar erzielte, lagert laut Berichten der Times in einem geheimen Lager in Genf (Schweiz). Eigentümer des kostbaren Kunstwerks ist der saudische Kronprinz Mohammed bin Salman, der es als zentrales Ausstellungsstück in einem geplanten „Supermuseum“ in Riad präsentieren will.

Die Geschichte von „Salvator Mundi“ gleicht einem Krimi der Kunstwelt. Als das Gemälde im Jahr 2017 beim Auktionshaus „Christie‘s“ in New York unter den Hammer kam, war die Aufregung groß. Der schwindelerregende Preis, den ein anonym Bietender für das Werk zahlte, übertraf sämtliche Erwartungen. Es stellte sich später heraus, dass der Käufer kein Geringerer als Mohammed bin Salman war, der Kronprinz Saudi-Arabiens. Lange Zeit rankten sich daher Gerüchte um den Verbleib des Kunstwerks. Einige behaupteten, es hänge an Bord der luxuriösen Yacht des Kronprinzen, andere vermuteten es in einem seiner Paläste. Doch nun enthüllt eine BBC -Dokumentation, dass „Salvator Mundi“ seit seinem Kauf in einem gut gesicherten Lager in Genf verwahrt wird, wie die The Times aufgreift . Professor Bernard Haykel, ein enger Vertrauter des Kronprinzen und Professor für Nahost-Studien an der Princeton University, bestätigte, dass das Gemälde dort auf seinen künftigen Bestimmungsort warte.

Mohammed bin Salman plant offenbar den Bau eines monumentalen Museums in Riad. Eines von vielen ambitionierten Projekten des Königshauses . Dieses Museum soll als kulturelles Aushängeschild Saudi-Arabiens dienen und die Besucherzahlen des Louvre in Paris übertreffen – so der angebliche Plan. „Salvator Mundi“ soll dabei eine zentrale Rolle spielen und als Magnet für internationale Touristen fungieren, heißt es. Der Plan, das Gemälde in Saudi-Arabien auszustellen, kann dabei nicht nur als ein ambitioniertes kulturelles Projekt, sondern auch als eine Provokation gegenüber der westlichen Kunstwelt gesehen werden. Es ist kein Geheimnis, dass Mohammed bin Salman bestrebt ist, Saudi-Arabien in verschiedenen Bereichen global konkurrenzfähig zu machen.

Die Eröffnung des „Supermuseums“ in Riad ist voraussichtlich für das Jahr 2026 geplant. Mohammed bin Salman hat bereits renommierte Experten wie den ehemaligen Direktor des British Museum, Hartwig Fischer, für das Projekt gewonnen, wie The Art Newspaper berichtet . The 164-foot (49.98m) Mangusta 165E Superyacht DA VINCI is truly an evolutionary motor yacht, as the “E” in the model name stands for “evolution.”

Delivered in March 2017, DA VINCI has stunning built-for-speed lines and can reach a maximum speed of more than 38 knots, which will seduce discerning clients and thrill-seekers.

Her top performance does not outweigh the stunning style of this yacht. DA VINCI features blonde teak plank flooring and exceptionally wide side decks with impressive sightlines past the shapely superstructure. Her on-deck layout is extremely spacious. The most remarkable space, however, is the spa pool and her bathing platform, which beckons guests to soak up the sun.Indoors on DA VINCI, the main deck entertainment area is equally as spacious, with ample headroom. This space is further enhanced by natural light from large windows. The beautifully customized space has bleached oak flooring, a marble bar and a large sofa, which is as comfortable as it is elegant.

Motor yacht DA VINCI can accommodate 12 guests in five cabins, all located on the lower deck. The full-beam owner’s suite with its broad marble bathroom is located amidships, and is followed by four doubles and one twin, located forward; all staterooms have en-suite bathrooms. The crew quarters are located aft. In May 2018, DA VINCI was named Best Superyacht over 40 meters at the International Yacht & Aviation Awards 2018.This Mangusta 165 Evolution is a sight to behold and a dream to charter. The Mangusta 165 Evolution is the latest and largest Mangusta to be launched. Delivered in 2017, Da Vinci offers thrilling performance with a maximum speed of 38 knots. She combines exceptional interior design with an abundance of exterior deck spaces. Socialise, entertain or lounge on the large aft deck. Dine al fresco, relax in the Jacuzzi and soak up the views on the sun deck and fore deck.

Her stunning interior incorporates natural light and ample headroom with glamorous furnishings and luxurious materials. On the main deck, Da Vinci’s open plan main salon features formal dining and a bar that runs along the port side and offers magnificent views over the sea. The lower deck is dedicated to guest accommodation with a master suite and four guest cabins. During events, Da Vinci is capable of hosting up to 100 guests.
