The award winning 44.9m/147'4" motor yacht 'Domani' was built by Benetti in Italy at their Livorno shipyard. Her interior is styled by Italian designer design house Carlo Galeazzi and she was delivered to her owner in May 2016. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Benetti.

Dramatic shipwreck of the Benetti yacht Domani: the video

A 45-metre yacht at the mercy of the waves, inexorably taking on water with seven frightened people on board awaiting rescue. They are rather dramatic images of the shipwreck of the Benetti yacht ‘ Domani ‘ , which last Saturday 7th May at seven o’clock in the morning local time ran into serious trouble while about 25 miles off Grays Harbor, along the Washington coast. The video, shot by US Coast Guard men and posted on Twitter , shows the distressed condition of the luxury motorboat as it is being rescued. Fortunately, there are no injuries among the seven people on board at the time of the shipwreck.
According to reports from the US Coast Guard, due to a technical problem the crew was unable to close the stern door; as a result, water flooded into the beach club, i.e. the lower part of the yacht. Shortly afterwards, the yacht’s crew also found smoke and activated the engine room fire extinguishing system, causing a blackout and loss of propulsion. To maintain communication with the coast guard, the crew used the yacht’s emergency batteries.
The yacht ‘Domani’ was delivered in 2004 and is part of the Benetti Vision series. The exterior design was by Stefano Righini, while the interior is by Zuretti

Domani is a custom motor yacht launched in 2004 by Benetti and most recently refitted in 2015.
Over one century of history, more than 350 boats built including three giga yachts of 100mt and longer, over 300,000 sq m (3.229.173 sq.ft) of production facilities. These facts and figures unambiguously demonstrate the momentum of Benetti’s growth and Clients’ unrestrained confidence in the brand.
Domani measures 44.20 metres in length, with a max draft of 2.6 metres and a beam of 9.40 metres. She has a gross tonnage of 420 tonnes. She has a deck material of teak.
Domani has a GRP hull with a GRP superstructure.
Her interior design is by Zuretti.
Domani also features naval architecture by Benetti.
Performance and Capabilities
Domani has a top speed of 15.00 knots and a cruising speed of 12.00 knots. She is powered by a twin screw propulsion system.
Domani has a fuel capacity of 67,000 litres, and a water capacity of 11,000 litres.
She also has a range of 4,000 nautical miles.

Domani accommodates up to 10 guests in 5 cabins. She also houses room for up to 10 crew members.

Benetti 45m Domani In September 2016, Benetti delivered its 45-meter motor yacht, Domani, to her owner. Domani remains one of the finest small motor yachts built by the company. To a large part extent, Domani’s beauty, power, and personality come from the influence of the vessel’s owner, who had worked with Benetti to build five previous yachts. Someone with that much experience knows exactly what he wants from his yacht. By bringing a clear vision to Benetti, the shipyard had a compass that pointed them towards excellence. Blending Interior and Exterior Areas The owner ensured that Benetti understood the importance of blending interior and exterior spaces throughout Domani. Azimut Benetti Spa joined forces with Paola Asaro of Studio Galeazzi to meet the client’s demands. Floor-to-ceiling glass walls create the illusion that guests could pass from interior areas directly to exterior decks. The lounge area, for instance, is surrounded by glass on three sides. In other spots, Benetti and its partners decided to mix interior and exterior concepts, making it unclear whether guests stand inside or outside the yacht. The sundeck provides an excellent example of this concept. A portion of the sundeck gets covered by a beautiful ceiling. Although guests can feel the ocean breeze flowing over the yacht’s sides, they feel comforted and protected by the ceiling. A few feet away, the ceiling yields to full sunlight, creating an area where guests can lounge in direct natural light. A Modern Aesthetic That Takes Advantage of the Latest Technology Benetti excels at integrating the latest technology into its boats to create modern aesthetics that offer comfort and entertainment. Recessed lights run along the floors of interior and exterior areas. The lights provide illumination so the owner and his guests can wander through the yacht safely. The recessed lighting also brings out the best features of Domani’s carefully chosen wood floors and walls. The wood seems to glow under the lights’ influence. Domani’s owner wanted to emphasize the importance of Italian craftsmanship. Benetti met this desire by incorporating some of the world’s most famous Italian brands. Throughout Domani, guests will find doors designed by Rimadesio; lamps from Michele De Lucchi Design’s Collezione Privata; furniture made by Flexform; and sofas by Maxalto’s B&B Italia. Every room aboard Domani has been filled with the finest products from popular Italian brands. Anything less than Italian craftsmanship wouldn’t accomplish the goal established by Domani’s owner. At the owner’s request, Benetti worked with its partners to build a console that encourages the owner and his family to enjoy time spent at the helm. While most helms have bench seats that can become uncomfortable after a few hours at sea, Domani has pilot seats that make piloting a joy. Benetti motor yacht Domani soldThe 34.95 metre motor yacht Domani , listed for sale by Nautique Yachting in Turkey , has been sold in an in-house deal. Built in GRP by Italian yard Benetti to a design by Stefano Righini and RINA classed, Domani was delivered in 2005 as one of the yard's Benetti Classic 115 models. MCA compliant, she has an interior designed by Kate Bingham accommodating 12 guests in six cabins consisting of a main-deck master suite, two VIP suites, two doubles and a twin, all with full en-suite facilities. Rich wood paneling lines her walls, complemented by marble floors. The main deck features a large saloon and dining room, separated by a bar for entertaining. A rare find for yachts in this size range is the relaxing skylounge, featuring a bar and day head. On the aft main deck, al fresco dining is available around an oval table with a semi circular sofa and teak chairs seating eight guests, and there is a staircase with access to the swimming platform and tender garage. Twin 1,400hp Caterpillar engines give her a range of 3,500 nautical miles at 10 knots and she is fitted with Quantum zero speed stabilisers. Domani has always been privately used and never chartered. In addition, she comes with a Novurania tender and outboard motor, diving equipment and a dive compressor. In total, 27 Benetti Classic 115s were built from 1998 to 2006, making them one of the most successful semi-custom models over 100 feet. Lying in Turkey, Domani was asking €5.5 million.
