The South Carolina Yacht Club is a members only club. Boat slip owners and tenants must join the SCYC for access to the activities and amenities of the club, which include fine dining, wine cellar, tennis, pool and spa, and health club.

SALTY SISTERS & BRINY BROTHERS These groups meet monthly for lunch and a sail. The Salty Sisters welcome all female members who are interested in sailing and the Briny Brothers welcome all male members who are interested in sailing.

The JUNIOR SAILING PROGRAM has been in existence for many years and is known as the premier sailing program for Hilton Head Island junior sailors. There are three levels in the program – “Learn to Sail,” “Intermediate,” and “Racing.” In 2008, the “Guppy” class was inaugurated into the program, which introduces 6 and 7 years-olds into the program.

Harbor 20 Racing – SCYC members are invited to join the Hilton Head Harbor 20 Fleet every Wednesday afternoon. Meet on the docks and plan for a wonderful time on the water!

The Club hosts three major annual regattas each year:

• Harbor 20 Spring Regatta – held in May of each year.
• Spar Wars Regatta – held in August of each year.
• Ocean Challenge – held in October of each year.

The Club is a member of the prestigious SOUTH ATLANTIC YACHT RACING ASSOCIATION (SAYRA) . SCYC boats are always in attendance at the events.

CRUISES are organized monthly throughout the year for all boat owners. The Cruise Fleet meets monthly to discuss upcoming cruises and other items of interest.

This club is the gem of the Hilton Head area, especially for those who appreciate the water. The staff are wonderful, the setting spectacular, and food is excellent. It is a private club. Most of the reviews are outdated and do not reflect the many positive changes with new leadership. We love the club!

This is a private club and we were able to go the the New Year's Eve event because we because our club has a reciprocal benefit. This was a black tie event appeared to be sold out. Dinner was great and the band they had playing was outstanding. If you are looking for a club to join on Hilton Head but don't play golf, this is a great option.

Ate here before and after new management. A beautiful club to eat outside or in. Gorgeous. The problem is it takes 45 plus to see your meal. And trust me, it's below average. Good for drinks.

The SCYC is a welcoming yacht club located in the heart of beautiful Windmill Harbour. The club boasts themed rooms for dining and gatherings but the views from the outside veranda are by far the best. Nothing can beat sharing drinks and laughs while watching the sunset as boats return from their day on the water. The culinary team performs magic in the kitchen and the wait staff are all outstanding. The daily salad selection is a club favorite, it's always inventive and almost always sells out! Each Sunday evening, chef Kevin offers tapas theme nights. It's a great way to taste all of his creative dishes. We've enjoyed many meals here and one is just better than the next. Here's a tip: save room for dessert, the pastry chef is phenomenal!

The South Carolina Yacht Club has it exactly right. The best view - right on the water - to sit and watch the sunset with a glass of wine or enjoy the company of friends and family. The food is excellent, the staff and service is perfect.....from start to finish exactly what you expect from a first class Yacht Club.

Check out Gabriella's famous salad special everyday, most definitely one of my faves. Chef Debbie has his finger on the pulse and comes up with innovative menus that are just outstanding. I'm just waiting for the day when he is invited to be on one of the Chef competition shows! Whenever we have family or friends come and for a visit, we always make sure to take them to the club. Whether it's Sunday brunch, lunch or dinner, or cocktails at happy hour, the SCYC his the target 100% of the time!

I was in town for business and was taken to the South Carolina Yacht Club for an amazing waterside dinner on a balmy fall evening. The chef was able to accommodate my dietary restrictions (I'm a vegan) and made me some of the best tofu I've ever eaten. Service was fantastic and I enjoyed every moment I spent at this great club.

Went for a private corporate event. Bartenders were clueless on how to make basic drinks (Manhattan, etc.). Food was terrible. Severely undercooked meat, runny Mac and cheese. Only reason they get one star is that the views are pretty cool. Otherwise, save yourself some time and find something else better. Should be pretty easy to do. This place is awful!

I have been to the club for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It is amazing. From the eggs Benedict, burgers and fillets.

Windmill Harbour is a vibrant 172-acre private primary and second home residential community reserved for 348 Charleston-Style residences. Our community located on Jenkins Island adjacent to the Intracoastal Waterway offers beautiful vista views of the Intracoastal and saltwater marshes. The primary focal point of Windmill Harbour is a 15-acre inland harbour. Windmill Harbour is also the home of the South Carolina Yacht Club and a 258-slip marina and lock system.

Our community is governed by the Property Owners Association Board composed of nine elected directors. Our POA board works in conjunction with owners and a property management company to maintain and improve the community according to the covenants.

Harbour Living

This is a home for active people and families of all ages where your neighbors are your friends. Some activities that bring the community together are our  Harbour Stroll  where property owners and the Yacht Club work together to decorate and celebrate the holidays, our  Yard “Sail”  in spring and our  4th of July Parade .  Visit  Events  to learn more about our community-wide events!

The South Carolina Yacht Club is located within Windmill Harbour. Unlike clubs in many other communities, membership at SCYC is optional and not required for property ownership. Myrtle Beach Golf & Yacht Club

Great place to live but some of the worst maintained private courses I have ever seen. Troon management should be ashamed of these courses and the shape they are in. They have no interest in catering to their membership. I have seen so many public courses that put them to shame.
