The TASTE festival is coming back to The Southport Yacht Club Main Beach Queensland!

10 -12 JUNE 2022

*TICKETS MUST BE PRE-PURCHASED FOR ENTRY* No tickets sales at the door.

Four magnificent tasting sessions will be held over 3 days - numbers to be strictly limited per session so book in early to avoid disappointment!

TASTE will bring together premium boutique wineries and craft spirit specialists, all to be tasted and enjoyed whilst indulging in generous 'walk & fork' gourmet plates and live entertainment right on the waterfront at Southport Yacht Club!

On arrival, you will be welcomed with your glass of bubbles then enjoy tastings galore whilst taking in the magnificent views of The Gold Coast Marina.

This is an event not to be missed - grab your friends and purchase your tickets early to avoid disappointment!

Tickets just $69 and all inclusive : a welcome glass of bubbly, a 3 hour tasting session from boutique wineries and craft spirit distillers, 3 gourmet food plates per person for the duration of the event, live entertainment, lucky door prizes and more:-)

Taste Festival Gold Coast

Food and wine lovers, listen up – TASTE Festival is back! The moreish event is hitting The Southport Yacht Club this October and is set to bring an array of premium boutique wineries, craft spirit specialist and gourmet food offerings to your palate. Enjoy a glass of bubbles on arrival before you indulge in delightful bites and sublime sips while taking in the waterfront vista, with live music providing the perfect atmosphere to share with friends. TASTE Festival will feature five tasting sessions over four days of deliciousness. Tickets are $69 per person (or $59 for the opening night special on October 21) and include a welcome glass of bubbles, three-hour tasting session from wineries and distillers, three food plates per person and lucky door prizes.

Note: Tickets must be pre-purchased – no ticket sales will be available at the door.

Father-of-three tries to smash into police van amid Southport violence

A father-of-three who left a police officer fearing for his life as he tried to smash a van window amid disorder has been jailed for three years.

Liverpool Crown Court heard Luke Moran, 38, had lost his job with a roofing firm after his image was published following violence which broke out in Southport on 30 July.

Rebecca Smith, prosecuting, said Moran was seen on footage with a large piece of concrete in his hands, smashing the driver’s side window of a police vehicle with an officer inside.

The court was played bodyworn footage from PC James Hayes in which Moran was holding a chunk of masonry, which he hit the vehicle with three times.

Judge Flewitt said: “Unsurprisingly, at that stage PC Hayes feared for his life, believing he might be pulled from the carrier and attacked.”
