The Sea Eagle FastCat has a catamaran-style hull with widely spaced side tubes that create lift to reduce center floor friction on the water.

The catamaran design:

High-Pressure, Reinforced, Drop-Stitch Construction

The Sea Eagle FastCat is made from a double-layer of PVC-reinforced 1000 Denier fabric that is drop-stitched together by joining the top and bottom of the floor and sides of the gunwales with tens of thousands of high-tensile strength threads.

The drop-stitch construction allows the boat to be inflated up to 15psi. This high pressure improves performance and provides remarkable stability, buoyancy, and a rigid floor stable enough to stand on.

The reinforced double-layer of protection allows the FastCat to bounce off rocks, logs, and other objects leaving the extremely durable boat unscathed.

Safety Air Chambers

With four separate air chambers, the FastCat12 adheres to the highest safety standards. In the unlikely event of a chamber failure, the boat will easily stay afloat to ensure your safety and that of any passenger.

Protective Rubbing Strake & Bumper Guard

We have only used it once but we took it out on Lake Table Rock in Missouri. The water was very calm but the boat handled itself really well. We loaded it with about 550lbs of people and gear and it was still very sturdy. It stayed inflated for a 3 days with no issues.Excellent Buy

Excellent purchase! Took out on the lake today with my two daughters. Was easy to inflate with our electric pump and easy to deflate. Was very durable and extremely comfortable for the three of us. Plenty of room to move around and really stable in the water. Impressed with the quality and love how the oars break down for storage. Will have lots of great adventures!!

I finally had a chance to use my inflatable boat last week. It was easy to set up, especially since I purchased the electric pump. The foot pump worked, but it made my legs tired. I had set the boat up several times in the garage, and I found the leg fatigue to be a problem, thus the electric pump. It takes us less than 30 mins now to get it completely ready and on the water! It takes longer time to get it dry and deflated. the quality time we have spent on it is priceless!!! How-To Use Guide:

1. Unfold the boat and lay it flat on a clean surface. 2. Attach the pump to the inflation valves and inflate each chamber to the recommended pressure (refer to the included manual). 3. Assemble the seats and attach them to the designated mounts. 4.(Optional) Attach a motor to the transom (motor not included, but the FastCat 12 can handle up to a 6 HP engine). 5. Can I put a dog in a Sea Eagle?

Yes, as long as your dog's nails are not sharp, bringing your dog with you in any of our inflatables is perfectly fine.

What kind of battery do I need for my electric motor?

Most traditional electric motors require a 12 volt, deep cycle marine battery. Sea Eagle does not carry or sell these batteries, however you can find them easily in most local marine or sporting good stores. Torqeedo electric motors require a Lithium-ion Manganese battery which is included with the motor.

Are the boats Coast Guard approved?

Although Sea Eagle Boats are durable enough to use for rescue applications, they are designed with leisure in mind. The United States Coast Guard only rates and approves inflatable boats designed specifically for life-saving applications. Our Sea Eagle models are NMMA and CE Certified.

Do I have to register my boat?

Can I inflate my boat with an air compressor at the gas station or any type of air compressor?

NO. Air compressors deliver more pressure than necessary and can overinflate or permanently damage your Sea Eagle. We recommend using only pumps approved and offered by Sea Eagle.

Can I mail in a check or money order?

Yes. You can mail a check or money order payable to Sea Eagle 19 North Columbia St, Suite 1 Port Jefferson NY 11777 Checks and Money Orders must be in US dollars payable to Sea Eagle, drawn at a US bank and payable in US. Personal Checks and Money Orders will take 10 business days to clear once received and orders will not be shipped out until the check has cleared.

How can I tell if my boat is fully inflated?

Each Sea Eagle model has its own recommended pressure for full inflation. You should always refer to your instruction manual for the designated pressure. Sea Eagle models SE-8, SE-9, 124SMB and Sport Kayak SE-330 & SE-370 feature an inflation gauge to ensure proper inflation. We also offer two different types of electric pumps (for different types of Sea Eagles) which can be set to the recommended pressures and will shut off automatically once your Sea Eagle is fully inflated.

Are inflatable boats serious craft or are they just for hobbyists?

Inflatables have been in common use by the US Navy, Coast Guard, and serious boaters for decades. Sea Eagle’s inflatable Sport Runabouts are the water-going equivalent of a sports car – a serious performance craft. Inflatables’ special advantage is portability - they deflate quickly and fit in your car trunk. Further, inflatables cost less and are easier to maintain than any same-sized hardhulled craft. And since you don’t need a boat trailer, you’ll never wait in line to launch your Sea Eagle inflatable.

What kind of maintenance do Sea Eagles require?

There’s virtually no maintenance. Just hose it down at season’s end, dry it in the sun, and pack it away. If you live in the sunbelt, you may want to apply UV protection above what’s already built into your Sea Eagle inflatable.

How about warranty protection?

Yes. All our boats have salt water resistant hulls.

How do I clean my Sea Eagle?

It is important to always keep your Sea Eagle clean, especially if you go into different water ways. Rinsing your boat, board or kayak will help keep organisms from one body of water enterting another. Invasive species can cause damage and ruin your favorite lake, pond, river, etc. ALWAYS make sure your Sea Eagle is clean and completely dry to prevent mold from growing.

We eat a lot of this type of rice, so this is a great long term food storage option for us. It can be hard to find specific items that you actually eat that will store 25+ years. Safecastle has so many of these items!

Fast, efficient service. However, I ordered PRI-G (for gasoline) and got PRI-D (for diesel)! I kept it because I wanted some anyway, but it was a pretty big error on their part. No, I didn't contact the company to correct the mistake since I was willing to keep the PRI-D.

Love this product but I might look fir a different source. Furst of all, the butter I received was already a tear old. And, of the 12 cans in NY order, half qere dented upon arrival. I gave received curdled butter in NY previous order. I'm not happy here

The pillow is not tall enough. And the back isnt tall enough. The legs are too short. But its fantastic other then just being too short.

One can in the middle of the case was quite beat up. I opened that one first to make sure it smelled okay. It did. So I ate it and have suffered no ill effects. I don’t know how canned pork is supposed to taste but it is different than fresh. It was very lean compared to the other types of canned meat that I have had. I mixed it with beans in a chili.

We can afford to offer this comprehensive warranty because of our   56 year experience   in designing and selling inflatable boats. We know quality products, and we stand behind them.

• Warranty Term will be three years from the date of customer receipt for all non-commercial users
• Commercial operators, including but not limited to rental operators, will be covered for six months from the date of receipt
• Damage due to negligence, neglect, lack of maintenance, accident, abnormal or improper use, bad assembly or improper repair attempts, or damage resulting from the use of a pump not supplied by Sea Eagle
• Alteration or customization
• Abrasions, tears or punctures
• Normal color fading
• Normal wear
• Overglueing and other aesthetic imperfections
• Crazing, blistering and aging of fabrics, metals or wood
• Does not cover incidental costs such as haul-out, launching, towing, or any other consequential damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
• Digital photographs clearly showing the defect
• Troubleshooting to establish or narrow down the cause of the problem
• Sent at the customer's expense

• If Sea Eagle determines the product is defective, customer will be refunded the published common carrier freight charge for the shipment
• Sea Eagle will not reimburse packaging and handling charges incurred by full service operations such as Fedex Kinkos, UPS Stores, or any other packaging and shipping provider.
