Crystal Point Yacht Club is a food service. You might visit this place to do not have clean up. They make a menu with a set of items, drinks, meals. Some dishes that are fairly inexpensive to get in food services, are infeasible to cook at home. Perhaps, this is one of those cases. The staff should provide detailed information on menus and will take food and drink orders accurately.

  • Bennett K. August 22, 2022, 11:24 pm Went to a wedding last Thursday August,18th 2022 the most wonderful and joyous occasion I've been to in a long time… From the ceremony which was outside and so beautiful to walking into the yacht club with a smorgasbord to the likes of me I haven't seen one like that in a very long time, the outstanding food was impeccable everything had a unique flavors… Had to slow down to save some room for dinner and that was impeccable too, to say the least… Every staff member that I encountered was without a doubt, had extreme professionalism courtesy and kindness… I know what I'm talking about because I've been a Professional Chef for close to 40 years… A third of that time was in catering cooking for beautiful people's weddings just like you guys… Thank you for an Absofreakinlutly wonderful experience… Bk… … – show 0 0 Reply

  • Brian S. August 8, 2022, 12:31 am We had our wedding here on 7/21/22 and we couldn't be happier with our choice! From the staff, the food, the convenience of the inn on site, and the beautiful venue — everything was perfect for our wedding day. Our maitre de, Ian, was very responsive, friendly, and helpful whenever we reached out with questions or requests. Eileen led the waitstaff and made sure we ate, drank, and enjoyed all of the meals throughout the evening. From Day 1 that we visited the venue, Bob was welcoming and warm, a nd always answering our questions leading up to our wedding day. I hope one day we get to come back to Crystal Point and enjoy a wedding as a guest. … – show 0 0 Reply

  • Chris A. August 5, 2022, 5:38 pm We had our wedding here June of this year and it was absolutely beautiful inside our maître d’ was absolutely incredible and our head waitress was just amazing. The food idk where to start with the food but there was so much no one went hungry and all of our guests were absolutely amazed at how many option there were just for the cocktail hour. Everything tasted so good and dinner food was so good the chefs did a really amazing job making sure everything came out top notch 0 0 Reply
  • BQVoyager July 10, 2022, 5:56 am The cocktail hour(90 minutes) had more food options than I've ever seen at a wedding. Bacon wrapped meat bar, mashed bar, Mac & cheese bar, tacos, sliders, kabobs, crab cakes, charcuterie, seafood bar, and then they had waiters carry around different appetizers. The bar/restaurant area and the banquet hall are great spaces, including outdoor area overlooking the river. The standard filet, chicken, flounder, veg choices were above traditional banquet quality. There was a large crowd and it w as rather loud, especially during the cocktail hour, that's my only critique. … – show 0 0 Reply

  • Tom C. June 20, 2022, 9:19 am Attended a family wedding and this team at this venue went the extra mile. A wedding is already a memorable experience. The staff here made sure it would be memorable for all the right reasons. From a team member greeting guests upon arrival. Staff was attentive. Everything from the cocktail period through the main event was excellent. Great food variety during the cocktail hours. It can be difficult to offer consistency when offering a diverse selection, they pulled it off. The location ad ded to the experience, right on the river for the wedding ceremony. Everyone appeared to have a great time. … – show 0 0 Reply

  • YouTube C. April 21, 2022, 9:57 pm THANK YOU CRYSTAL POINT!! Janine, Eileen, and the whole team from Crystal Point made our wedding absolute perfection! We were very impressed with how cool, calm, and collected Janine was from the moment we met with her. She is a true professional who really allowed us to enjoy our night. She handled everything, seriously everything. Eileen always made sure my husband and I had fresh drinks in our hands. We had our ceremony there as well. Their grounds are absolutely beautiful. The indoor/outdoo r cocktail hour was a great space for guests to flow into and made for great photos. Our guests were blown away by all the food at the amazing cocktail hour. Not only did everything look great, but tasted great too. The reception was also amazing, they have an incredible sound and lighting system (saves money for the DJ). The views from the ballroom made for a stunning first dance backdrop. Our dinner was served from personalized plates (a gift from Crystal Point for our wedding). Everything about the place was a class act, pure perfection. The Crystal Point Inn accommodations were also amazing! Tiffany and her team answered every question and every time i called and were always so nice and friendly. They made our wedding so easy and simple. We really had the best day ever!! Thank you Crystal Point!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! … – show 0 0 Reply

Magical! This is the adjective my guests use over and over again to express their experience at our wedding. My husband and I are extremely happy that we decided on CPYC for our New Years Eve wedding on 12/31/18. The venue is gorgeous and elegant, our ceremony took place inside the venue the panoramic view added a serene ambiance to our ceremony. After the ceremony our guest were escorted to an adjacent room for the cocktail hour which was amazing and delicious. Then upstairs to the reception! Well the room was breathtaking! Ian our matre'd, was the best as was the rest of the staff. Ian and the staff made sure all my requests were fulfilled. Several of my guests commented on how accommodating and kind the staff was. The reception was off the charts! Excellent food, dessert, cake, drinks and service! My husband and I couldn't be happier and my guests, well we're a large Italian, Irish family they were impressed and surprised to be offered an additional dinner if they wanted, the delicious food and gorgeous venue, we also chose the exit breakfast, (Ian's suggestion), due to it being NYE and we're glad we did. If you're thinking about having your special occasion at CPYC go for it you will not be sorry.

Seriously people, check this place out for your wedding, christening, shower, or anything you need a banquet or catering service for. Excellent quality, service, food, and experience! I do not give five stars lightly, you guys earned it. Keep up the good work!

Crystal Point Yacht Club was the perfect venue for our wedding! Everything was perfect from the moment we went to check out the venue. The new upgrades, to the gardens, to the backdrop, to the staff... was amazing! We love the old school jersey shore motel meets high end elegance . Thank you Ian! He was just the coolest and most laid back. He handled things that I completely forgot about and made sure everything was spectacular! Our guests loved the seating during cocktail hour and the food was incredible! Also the guests were blown away when the staff gave second helpings to everyone so they can try everything! Our day was better than I could have ever had imagined and I wish I could do it all over again there! The best part is that our guests are still raving about it being the best wedding that they have ever attended! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

I came here for an continuing education dinner. Great buffet set up. Recommend: eggplant rollatini, stuffed fish, roasted potatoes, roast beef, artichoke salad, cheese, fruits, crackers, dessert tray was delicious. Bartender friendly as well as wait staff. Pasta n garden salad was okay. Room was nice. Bathrooms were clean. Overall great experience!

Photo of Jessica G.

The maitre D was very helpful. The room was very nice. The food was plentiful and excellent!! The Winter Wonderland package was a fantastic value that simplified wedding planning.

Photo of Anthony B.

Nice venue, the food was great. The staff are the most unpleasant people I have ever encountered, must be an awful place work. I have never been to a venue where the hostess sits in the lobby and yells at you "where are you going" when you walk through. Truly an unpleasant experience

Photo of Ann A.

Quality customer service can be hard to come by lately, so when an experience exceeds expectations it's certainly worth mentioning. Our daughter's wedding was held at this venue this past weekend. The total experience from start to finish was exceptional. Laura and Jackie in the front office were friendly, responsive and most helpful with reserving the date and answering all our numerous questions. The maitre'd is key to the success of a wedding. I can't say enough good things about Ian, our maitre' d. He was always "one step ahead" on the day of the wedding, (and before) keeping everything moving smoothly and doing so with a smile. He is accommodating and polite with a great sensibility and attention to detail. Simply perfect! As one reviewer noted this is indeed a great combination venue. We had several out of town guests and they were thrilled with the fact that they didn't need to drive from one place to another. It was warm enough to have the ceremony outside. There was no need for a pergola or additional flowers lining the aisle as the garden space is elegant in its simplicity with the backdrop of the river, boats and amazing sky. Our guests raved about the food at the cocktail hour and dinner. The setting for both was lovely with windows looking out onto the water providing an elegant and tranquil atmosphere. There was plenty of room in the ballroom for our 10 piece band with ample room on the dance floor as well. When the party was over, the staff carefully organized and packed up all the decorations we provided and set them aside for us to retrieve at our convenience the next morning. The motel rooms are well appointed and we found the staff to be so friendly. Tiffany at the front desk couldn't have been more helpful. Plus, as one of our well-traveled guests noted, the continental breakfast was one of the best ever. Our daughter's wedding experience couldn't have been more perfect. Thank you for making her special day so memorable!

Photo of J T.

My Stepson had his wedding here on 6/4/10. The decor is beautiful... from the view to the great lighting. Plenty of room to move around between tables and a very nice size dance floor. The cocktail hour was over the top-if you can, get the seafood crepes. They were amazing and the BBQ pork puffs were the best! The service at the cocktail hour was very good. The dinner was disappointing. The servers were a little on the grumpy side-barely a smile anywhere. The food was just OK. Everything was very salty...and I like salt but the Mushroom soup was so salty I couldn't eat it and the gravy on the beef was just as bad. The salad had no dressing or it was so minimal that I couldn't taste it and the roll was stale. The beef itself was very good once you scraped the gravy off. The asparagus was undercooked and the potato overcooked. Overall it is a beautiful place for an event just wish the food and service for the dinner was up to the cocktail hour standards.

Went to a wedding here this summer. Venue was lovely, nice enough to have the ceremony outside. The food was awesome and so much, everything really lovely. We stayed at the Inn, not so great, could use a refurbish and I came home with big bites on my back. I did call the reception the following day to let them know, but they said what I had did not come from their rooms .. I disagree. Venue lovely, Inn not so much.

This culinary legacy is today manifested in the best Middle Eastern restaurants in Dubai that pay an ode to the storied traditions of the region while maintaining a firm eye on the modern and contemporary. Whether you are looking for a memorable meal with your family or good Arabic restaurants in Dubai with a view for date night, take heart in knowing that a new crop of fine-dining haunts are embracing history in their own unique ways. On days when you are looking to take the guesswork out of where to eat next, seek inspiration from our round-up of the best Arabic restaurants in Dubai 2024 that will elevate your weekend:

For a Levantine dining experience unlike any other, you’ll want to book a table at least once at Olea. With a menu that champions the distinctive flavors of Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, Jordan, Southern Turkey and Cyprus, you will come for the open kitchen that churns out mouth-watering dishes inspired by these regions.

Olea

Allow your palate to be tempted with a wide array of regional staples—from Lebanese el hummus Beiruti and Syrian nayeh (raw meat) to Cypriot sultan ibrahim. After the dishes have been cleared, head towards the tranquil terrace for an après-meal coffee or to explore the flavors that have earned this eatery a spot among the best Arabic restaurants in Dubai with shisha.

Flip through the pages of history at Ninive as your handcrafted plate transforms into a time machine that whisks you through the region’s culinary heritage, acquiescing to the changes that have evolved over time with the introduction of modern gastronomical techniques, while staying faithful to the roots. This is a mission that isn’t too lofty for Ninive that is known to serve up some of the best Arabic food in Dubai.

Ninive

Designed as a bedouin tent, the Middle Eastern influences are further manifested in the a la carte menu that offers up a tempting array of hot and cold starters, delectable skewers and grills before winding up to a grand climax with a selection of regional desserts—you’ll come for the grilled lamb chops and stay for the baklava served with Turkish ice cream.

Sirali

Warm up your palate with the Arabian meatball before moving on to the meats that mean serious business: picture lamb chops seared on a cast grill and then cooked over oak charcoal in small batches to retain flavor consistency. For patrons looking to get a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the culinary artistry, a glass cube allows one to spot the butchers at work.

The search for the best Middle Eastern food in Dubai can only lead you to the doors of Cleo , where the wafting aroma of charcoal-grilled meats will envelop your senses. Old and new staples come together to break bread—and possibly, to break fresh ground.

Cleo

Set against the backdrop of coastal hues, the menu lays a valid claim to the best Arabic grill restaurants in Dubai. Think lamb shawarma from a live spitroast, rib-eye with confit potato and grilled skewers that are laid on your plate with a sizzle.

If you are looking for the best Arabic restaurant in Dubai with a view, all roads can only lead to the crown jewel of Palazzo Versace’s culinary offering. Enigma is today counted among the most famous Arabic restaurants in Dubai—courtesy Michelin-starred executive chef Mansour Memarian. Its status as one of the must-have dining destinations in the city is further underscored by outdoor seating options that offer diners the chance to feast their eyes on sweeping views of Dubai Creek.

Enigma

Those in quest of a worthy picture for the ‘gram won’t want to miss out on the gold menu—featuring cold salads, warm starters, kabab sultani and orange blossom tarts topped off with the lacquer of gold leaves. The eponymous kabab Versace makes for a mouthwatering experience with a beef tenderloin rolled with walnut and sweet basil smoked on charcoal. The spectacle continues with the dessert line-up that features treats like brownie in a treasure box— a moist slice served in a literal treasure box dripping with jewels—and an imaginative take on the classic baklava.

How did the afternoon tea tradition originate?

Glad you asked—the roots of this great British tradition can be traced back to the seventh Duchess of Bedford in 1840. When the Duchess found herself craving some sweet treats around mid-afternoon, a new custom was born. Soon, friends started dropping in and the spread was elevated to luxurious heights. Today, the afternoon tea tradition serves as a worthy reminder to sit back and sip on a relaxing cup as you watch the world go by.

12 Korean Restaurants In Dubai To Visit For A Fiery, Flavorful Feast This Weekend

Perhaps it was a late-night K-drama binge that first had you craving for ramen noodles. Or maybe you found yourself immersed in the culture once K-pop stars started taking over your playlist. Regardless of which reason first brought you to the rich, flavorful world of Korean cuisine, the best Korean restaurants in Dubai have conspired to ensure that you are here to stay.

Why is Korean food famous?

A closer look at traditional Korean food is a true education on the abundance mindset. As  K-dramas  might have already taught you, even a humble breakfast can have the table laden with side dishes. The philosophy? You shouldn’t taste the same flavor more than once in a meal. It comes as little surprise then that Korean food is also associated with  mukbang  culture or the practice of having copious amounts of food in one serving.

What is traditional Korean food?

With a focus on flavors,  Koreans  prioritize getting the maximum depth of flavor out of every dish.  Kimchi  serves as one of the frontrunners of the cuisine—a fermented cabbage dish that signifies the foresight of traditional Koreans through the long winters in the region. Beyond kimchi, what are the top 5 Korean dishes to know about? As you embark on this culinary journey, you will want to keep an eye out for classic dishes from the region:  bibimbap  (rice with veggies), bulgogi (beef barbecue), tteokbokki (red rice cakes), jiggae (Korean stew) and Korean fried chicken.

What is the most common meal in Korea?

The traditional Korean meal seeks inspiration from the feasts and lavish spreads that royalty used to enjoy back in the day. As a consequence, you’ll find a minimum of three main dishes at any meal supplemented with sticky rice and, of course, kimchi.

What is a Korean hot pot?

As you immerse yourself in the world of Korean cuisine, you’ll find hot pots popping up on every possible menu. Modelled as a communal experience, a typical Korean hot pot consists of a hot broth that is left simmering on the table. Diners can then choose to add in a wide array of meats, proteins and veggies to the broth. Split a pair of chopsticks, dip in a sauce of your choice—there will always be a minimum of four on the table.

What is the most popular restaurant chain in Korea?

Unsurprisingly, nailing the right fried chicken is the lottery ticket for restaurants in the region. Within South Korea, Lotteria is counted as the most popular fast food chain since 1979. Closer home, you will find that a slew of restaurants command a similar cult-like following: Sky Korean restaurant in Dubai,  Hyu Dubai  and Seoul Garden Korean restaurant in Dubai. If you are ready to expand your horizons further, take your pick from our round-up of the must-try  Korean restaurants  in Dubai. Whether you are looking to take some bottled kimchi home or you are looking to find Authentic red rice cakes (tteokbokki) in Dubai, there is something for everyone.

Nestled within a grand canyon of skyscrapers, Kimpo doesn’t not blend in as much as it stands out as a bold juxtaposition in the  DIFC  area. Step within, and your senses will be held captive by the graffiti scrawled on the walls alongside cyberpunk neon signs. For a Brooklyn-meets-Seoul vibe, Kimpo is your ticket for an unforgettable evening with the crew.

Kimpo Korean Restaurants In Dubai

Your  mukbang  moment:  Will occur with the brunch spread that offers up classic Korean takeout boxes—have your pick from kimchi udon noodles, japchae or kimchi fried rice. While loyalists will want to stick by the  Korean fried chicken  for mains, dessert is your chance to get experimental. Banana fritters, mango on a stick or mochi ice cream: which will it be?

12 Top Fine Dining Restaurants In Dubai That Have Redefined Haute Cuisine

There is a certain element of theatricality expected of luxury dining—a fact that the top fine dining restaurants in Dubai understand all too well. Delve deeper within the city’s culinary gems and you’ll find gourmands from around the world flocking to Michelin-approved menus served against jaw-dropping panoramas. Cancel all your weekend plans and head to the top dining experiences in Dubai that the world has its eye on.

What is fine dining?

  • Fine dining  is often mistaken simply as a luxury culinary experience—but that would be a great disservice, as though to call the sun a shining orb in the sky.
  • Instead, fine dining attempts to whisk gourmands away into an immersive world where every ingredient unfolds like poetry.
  • Presentation, service and ambiance all unite to create a mellifluous melange for a meal unlike any other.
  • The element of luxury is further heightened by a sense of intimacy, with many  fine dining restaurants  in Dubai only accepting a limited number of guests for creating an unparalleled experience.

What is the fine dining dress code for ladies?

  • Before you Google “fine dining restaurants near me,” it is helpful to understand the dress code required for the occasion.
  • While you needn’t go black-tie only, most fine dining places in Dubai adhere to a strict dress code.
  • Flip flops, sneakers and casual footwear are all frowned upon. Instead, you’ll want to allow your quest for fine dining dress ideas to be guided by elegant sheath dresses, cocktail gowns and chic jewelry.
  • Why? At its core, fine dining is an occasion that transcends the ordinary and as a consequence, dressing the part can help create an immersive experience for all patrons.

What is the most expensive restaurant in Dubai?

  • A quick sweep of the culinary landscape in Dubai and you’ll know that there is no dearth of restaurants waiting to take home this crown.
  • You have the royal gold biryani at Bombay Borough priced at AED 1,000 while a single scoop of the black diamond ice cream at Scoopi can set you back by AED 3,000.
  • More exclusive experiences, like the infinity dinner at The Link, offer up an intimate evening for twenty guests only at AED 15,000.

Does Dubai have Michelin restaurants?

  • In a city that is synonymous with superlatives, the dining scene is nothing to scoff at either.
  • Dubai plays host to a wide array of Michelin-starred restaurants, ranging from Trèsind Studio and STAY by Yannick Alléno’s commendable round-up of two Michelin stars each.
  • A host of restaurants have also swept in one Michelin star apiece—Orfali Bros Bistronomy, Dinner by Heston Blumenthal and  Ossiano —with their mastery over the world of gastronomy.
  • Ready to experience the best fine dining dishes that Dubai has to offer? Step right this way towards our edit of the most unforgettable dining experiences in the city.
