Below Deck Sailing Yacht Exes Daisy Kelliher and Gary King Have Explosive Reunion in Season 5 Trailer

Below deck sailing yacht 's daisy kelliher confronts "pr--k" gary king following their failed boatmance in e news' exclusive first look at season five. plus, meet the new yachties..

Below Deck Sailing Yacht 's new season will be anything but smooth sailing.

That's because returning costars Daisy Kelliher and Gary King are anything but friendly after their failed boatmance in E! News' exclusive first look at the Bravo series' fifth season.

Following Daisy, Gary and BDSY alum Colin MacRae 's messy love triangle , Daisy is still reeling from the complicated and dramatic fallout from last season.

"Going into this season, I got rid of some dead weight," the newly single Chief Stew says in the trailer. "The breakup did a number on me last year. I felt very broken. But now, I'm coming back in more focused, full of energy and I'm f--king good at my job. And I'm taking back the reigns."

Despite her initial confidence about returning to the Parsifal III , Daisy adds, "It's gonna be a s--t show."

Cut to the Ireland native yelling at Gary, "Guess what? We have a f--king job to do and I'm not f--king carrying this season on my own, you f--king pr--k!"

But luckily for Daisy, the preview teases her quickly moving on with new Deckhand Keith Allen , who tells Gary, "Daisy would make a very good wife. No?"

As for Gary's response, he bursts out laughing at the crewmember's declaration.

However, Daisy feels the same about Keith and tells him, "You're the kind of person I've never met before."

And when it comes to this season's charter guests, the yachties have too much of a good time with one group on shore.

After a night out, Captain Glenn Shephard warns the team, "You guys went out with some guests, I set some ground rules. Two drinks maximum. You knew the rules, you broke the f--king rules, and now you're here getting upset."

Check out the trailer above for a preview of all the drama to come. And keep reading to meet new yachties Chef Cloyce Martin , Chief Engineer Davide Morosi , Stews Diana Cruz and Danni Warren and Deckhand Emma Crouch .

Below Deck Sailing Yacht premieres Monday, Oct. 7, at 9 p.m.   on Bravo. Episodes will be available to stream next day on Peacock.

Captain Glenn Shephard

Capt. Glenn and his expert crew set sail on Parsifal III to the luxury party capital of the world, Ibiza. While Ibiza is known for its sunny day parties and crystal-clear coast, it’s stormy waters ahead for the crew as they navigate blossoming boatmances, competitive co-workers and tense personal dynamics, all while trying to raise the bar every charter.

Chief Stew Daisy Kelliher

After a distracting love triangle last season that took her focus away from work, Daisy is ready to take the reins back in the interior department with a new sense of energy and determination. However, plans for a stress-free charter season are threatened when her stews question her leadership.

First Mate Gary King

On deck, Gary attempts to keep his team motivated as one crew member struggles to learn the ropes.

Chef Cloyce Martin

In the galley, Chef Cloyce charms the crew and guests but at only 22, he may be too inexperienced to meet the demands of the high-maintenance charter guests.

Deckhand Keith Allen

Stew Diana Cruz

Deckhand Emma Crouch

Stew Danni Warren

‘Below Deck Sailing Yacht’ Season 4 Reunion Revelations: Where Each Boatmance Stands Post-Filming

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4 Reunion Revelations Where Each Boatmance Stands Post-Filming 273

Drama from season 4 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht did not remain on board — and the cast had plenty of issues to address during the reunion.

The Bravo special, which aired its first part on Monday, July 17, centered around the challenges that Captain Glenn , Gary King and Daisy Kelliher faced during the latest charter season. A noticeable change from the season 4 finale to the reunion was the distance between Daisy and Colin MacRae .

The former couple, who started a relationship during their time on Parsifal III, did not appear to be on good terms. Daisy hinted at a falling out between her and Colin before they virtually crossed paths after filming season 4.

“I am going to leave it to the reunion. I feel like he [has the most to answer for at the reunion]. I have a lot of love for Colin, but things are complicated,” she explained on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen in June when a fan asked why she unfollowed Colin on social media. “I don’t need complication on my social media.”

Before new episodes started to air in April, Daisy also discussed Gary and Colin’s overlapping interest in her. “I definitely feel like [Gary] was jealous. I think the boys — at times it did feel like I was a trophy prize [for them]. I could be completely wrong but [the way they acted felt a] bit like an ego thing going on between the two of them,” she exclusively told Us Weekly that same month. “And I was like, ‘OK, I don’t really want to be involved in this.'”

Part 2 of the season 4 Below Deck Sailing Yacht reunion will air on Bravo at 9 p.m. ET on Tuesday, July 18.

The Distance Between Daisy and Gary

During the second part of the reunion, Daisy accused Colin of affecting her friendship with Gary. "You made me feel so guilty about Gary. I eventually stopped talking to him and stopped being friends with him," she shared after crying on screen.

Colin and Gary later noted that they wanted to work on their friendship — but neither seemed to have high hopes about their individual relationships with Daisy.

The Truth Behind Daisy and Colin's Connection

According to Daisy and Colin, they originally hooked up before filming season 4. The chief stew, however, accused Colin of being with another woman as well, which he didn't originally disclose. Daisy also claimed Colin told her several times that he wanted to be with her between seasons 2 and 3 — while he was in a serious relationship.

The engineer, for his part, blew off the "irrelevant" comments about their timeline, adding, "This is what nobody knows in the audience. This is why the relationship turned toxic because you can't reason with this woman. I have realized that and I ended things with her."

A-List 'Below Deck Sailing Yacht' Fans

After Andy Cohen asked whether any celebrities reached out to the season 4 cast, Daisy recalled getting messages from several Hollywood stars.

"I have had a few celebrities reach out to me. I am not going to name drop. But Christina Applegate had reached out to me after I had seen her — she had a nice conversation with Captain Lee," the chief stew shared. "She's a huge fan of the show so it was really exciting. And obviously Chrissy [Teigen] ."

Mads and Alex's New Normal

Mads and Alex confirmed that they have stayed close after sharing a kiss during their last charter. The pair went on to say that a romance didn't seem to be in the cards amid the deckhand's complicated love life.

Daisy vs. Gary's Management Styles

During the first part of the reunion, Daisy put Gary on blast when she questioned his work ethic.

"I think Glenn acknowledges and is aware of how much I do. But possibly he sometimes isn't aware of what Gary doesn't do. Let's put it that way," Daisy quipped. "Gary could probably manage better. He could probably lead better. This isn't about me, this is about Gary."

In response, Glenn noted that Daisy had a "good point" that he didn't know everything about what happens behind the scenes. Gary, for his part, said he stood by the hard work he put into season 4.

Chase and Ileisha's Relationship Status

"After the show finished filming, I went home and ended things with my boyfriend. Chase [Lemacks] and I were just there for each other and he supported me through a lot of hard times," Ileisha Dell , who had a flirty relationship with Chase , revealed at the reunion. "We kind of went back and forth. He came to Australia and I have been to America a couple of times. I even went to Charleston."

The deckhand, meanwhile, admitted that his connection with Ileisha had a major factor working against them.

"The reality of it is that Ileisha is one of the most amazing women I have ever met but we live on the opposite ends of the world," he added. "Australia and Charleston couldn't be farther from each other. There's nothing but love there."

Here’s What the Cast of Below Deck Sailing Yacht Is Currently Up to Now

Are Jenna and Adam still together?

below deck sailing yacht season 1

After the massive success of Below Deck and its spinoff Below Deck Med , Bravo decided to test the waters on a new iteration of its hit series earlier this year. That's where Below Deck: Sailing Yacht came in, taking place on a luxury sailing boat, the Parsifal III, adrift in the Ionian Sea.

From a spontaneous proposal failing spectacularly to a joke about being breastfed as an adult, Sailing Yacht was as much a dramatic success as the other franchises. It also left fans wondering about what's happening to the crew since the show wrapped. Did chief stew Jenna and chef Adam stay together? What's going on with Georgia's music? And most important—is Captain Glenn really as cool as we think he is?

Here's what the cast of Below Deck: Sailing Yacht is up to now:

Jenna MacGillivray

When the Canadian stepped onto the Parsifal III, fans got exactly what they hoped for in a chief stew—a no-nonsense leader who also had a romantic spot in her heart for the chef in the galley. Though her relationship with Adam Glick proved to be tumultuous, the two dated for some time after the season wrapped, even taking some time to road-trip together.

These days, Jenna is enjoying some time off from yachting, but given her recent IG pics, she's excited to come back to another charter season.

Madison Stalker

Wherever Madison went, drama always seemed to follow the second stew during season one of Below Deck: Sailing Yacht . In between epic meltdowns (including a major one between her and Jenna over her lack of enthusiasm for her job), she left the boat a better person and leaving fans ready to see more from their new favorite cast member.

Judging by her Instagram account, she's taken a break from yachting (perhaps until next season of the show).

Georgia Grobler

As good of a third stew Georgia was on deck, fans were more invested in her budding music career and growing feelings for a very taken Paget. She proved she was great at her job and could make a career out of yachting.

While it's unclear whether she stayed in the yachting industry post- Sailing Yacht , Georgia's working on music, premiering new music videos on IGTV during the quarantine.

Below Deck Med fans were so excited when Adam joined the crew as the chef for Sailing Yacht . While he abided by the preference sheets this time around, he also began a rocky romance with chief stew Jenna, making most of the crew members wonder if he was there for his job or the girl.

Since the show wrapped, Adam's busy onshore, cooking, and traveling with his adorable puppy. Oh, and Adam has a web series, Stoked , where he travels across the country to meet with local chefs and learn about their regions... all while over a campfire.

Paget Berry and Ciara Duggan

If there was any couple to root for from the entire Below Deck franchise, it's Paget and Ciara. The duo made a great team on deck, and mostly kept their relationship to a minimum on cameras—a first for Bravo! As they were the most familiar with the Parsifal III, the couple was the most reliable, and fans loved seeing their relationship continue blossoming post-filming.

These days, the couple has a lot to be excited about—they're now engaged. While they're soaking up their romantic bliss, they're also still working in yachting, although it's sadly on separate boats.

Byron Hissey

As the chief engineer of Parsifal III, Byron was clearly there to just do his job. But, given how he was the only cast member to have a wife and child back home, he also became the dad of the group, taking care of the other crew members.

Since filming wrapped, it looks like Byron is back on a boat doing exactly what he does best—fixing and making sure the engines run smoothly.

Parker McCown

Relatively new to the yachting industry, fans are more likely to remember the deckhand for his enraged rant about being breastfed by his mother. While he didn't necessarily have all the skills to make it as a deckhand, he definitely had a soft spot for his ex-girlfriend Kaiti, whom he eventually left Parsifal III to go back to at home.

It looks like the decision to leave the show worked out for Parker, as he's now engaged to Kaiti and writing some tunes while onshore.

Chris Miller

As Parker's replacement for the latter half of the season, Chris proved a great deckhand and an asset to the team, all while battling an injury.

These days, Chris seems to be taking some time off from yachting to travel across Europe.

Captain Glenn Sheppard

Captain Glenn was tough, fair, and not afraid to have a good time, which both crew and guests very much appreciated.

Thankfully, his reality TV experience hasn't turned him off yachting forever. Glenn is still the captain for Parsifal III and traveling through the Mediterranean.

[Editor’s note: This story contains spoilers for “ Industry ” Season 3, Episode 6, “Nikki Beach, or: So Many Ways to Lose.”]

It is the most dramatic and arguably most consequential moment in the three seasons of HBO ‘s “ Industry .” During a heated argument with his daughter Yasmin ( Marisa Abela ), the disgraced book publisher Charles Hanani (Adam Levy) leaps from his yacht into the Mediterranean. His daughter decides not throw the buoy and save him, instead confiding in her friend Harper (Myha’la) to cover her tracks.

After the father-daughter unload, saying the most brutal and brutally honest things imaginable to one another, Levy, a well-established theater actor, saw the moment from his character’s perspective as a piece of theater, with Charles jumping as his moment to play the martyr.

“I was quickly able to find the motivation,” said Levy. “Charles is theatrical. It’s a vitriolic moment for him, before going in the water it was actually liberating. I think the trickiness was actually the intimate scenes on the boat with my daughter.”

Eklöf had one big note for Levy, which the actor agrees was the key to unlocking any villains he’s ever played.

“I’ve worked with male narcissists and psychopath [characters] in almost every single thing I’ve done, it’s always the same problem,” said Eklöf. “They have a hard time defending the character, because they think they’re supposed to play a stereotype. I always have to convince the guys who play rapists and bad guys that they need to have sympathy with this guy, otherwise it’s not going to work.”

“For Marisa, it wasn’t hard for her at all to find it. She’s very, very talented,” said Eklöf. “I think maybe it is kind of accessible for most women. Most women have had that feeling through life of butting their head against a stone wall of privilege, so I think it’s easily accessible.”

According to Abela, the way the writing built toward the moment, her character’s motivation was clear, and there was one moment in particular she saw a point of no return.

“I think it comes from the fact that when he pulls her into the hug, that she can feel him [Charles is still erect], I think that is a trigger for her because of her past. She sees red,” said Abela. “Hearing this sort of barrage of hatred from him, I do really think in that moment she wants to never see or think or hear from him again.”

below deck sailing yacht season 1 reunion recap

In breaking down what immediately happens after Charles jumps, and her character’s decision to not act, Abela told IndieWire she analyzed the moment from three different perspectives, asking her the following: Is it a shock that he jumped? Is it an active decision? Is it negligence or even murder?

For Abela the Episode 6 fireworks are the punctuation of how the season has unfolded, with various flashbacks to the boat layered throughout the previous episodes.

“The flashbacks throughout the season punctuates how we filmed it. Each moment leads into the next,” said Abela. “Seeing him in her room on her bed [having sex with his young employee in Episode 1]. He’s brought her here, but he’s in lots of trouble, so he’s implicating her. There’s so much power abuse at the beginning of this [season] when it comes to her father because he knows that she’s completely financially dependent on him.”

The “Industry” creators Mickey Down and Konrad Kay agree with Abela, and view the payoff in Episode 6 as an example of how in Season 3 the former investors-turned- TV writers finally got the hang of how to structure the arc of a season of TV. It started when they sat down to write the first episode of the season, making the realization they needed to start on the boat, dropping the audience into Yasmin’s perspective of navigating Charles’ debachorous world of drugs and young women.

Added Kay, “We had to [convince] a few of the producers, because they were like, ‘Why don’t you just front load this, why are you parceling out over the season? Why are you keeping Harper’s revelation on the boat to the end of [Episode] 2? And we actually felt emotionally that those scenes were going to have way more impact the way we doled them out. I think Episode 6 is one of the more successful episodes of the season in terms of how it clicks everything into focus.”

below deck sailing yacht season 1 reunion recap

One of the late story adjustments was deciding to put Harper (Myha’la) on the boat, which leads to her helping Yasmin. Abela loved what the episode revealed about Harper’s character, juxtaposed to the two characters blow-out fight at the end of the episode — Yasmin infuriated Harper used her at work for her own gain, knowing she was particularly vulnerable. The contradiction saying everything about how transactional relationships are on “Industry.”

“[Harper] would literally bury a body with her if she needed to,” said Abela, referencing Harper helping Yasmin after Charles jumps. “But if Yasmin asks her to forfeit her climbing the professional ranks, that’s where she draws the line. It’s insane, but that’s the way it is.”

'Below Deck Sailing Yacht' Is Returning for Season 5 After Gary's Scandal

Below Deck Sailing Yacht is coming back for season 5 after Gary King's sexual misconduct scandal.

Bravo announced on Monday, September 16, that the next season reunites Captain Glenn Shephard , chief stew Daisy Kelliher and Gary as they spend their charter season in Ibiza. The rest of the cast includes chef Cloyce Martin , chef engineer Davide Morosi , stews Diana Cruz , Danni Warren and deckhands Keith Allen and Emma Crouch .

The upcoming installment comes more than one year after Below Deck Sailing Yacht wrapped up its fourth season on Bravo in July 2023.

Gary's future as a cast member has been up in the air, however, since a production assistant from the show accused him of making unwanted advances while filming season 4.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht's Biggest Drama Through the Years

In a Rolling Stone exposé, which was published in October 2023, Samantha Suarez and other former employees, who asked to remain anonymous, accused Bravo of allegedly helping cover up Gary's inappropriate behavior.

"It was insane. There were multiple incidents of sexual harassment in front of multiple producers after this person had been given verbal warnings multiple times," one of the accusers alleged. "I had to promote and make this guy who just assaulted someone look awesome. That was my job, to make this person look cool, capable and exciting."

Samantha recalled being asked to look after Gary when he allegedly got drunk. Once filming wrapped, Samantha remained with Gary in his hotel room before he tried to stop her from leaving by pressing himself against her. Samantha alleged that Gary refused to let her leave until she started to fight back.

According to Samantha, she alerted producers about the incident , who told Gary to sleep on the boat on days when the crew wasn't filming as a way to keep him out of the hotel.

Former 'Below Deck Sailing Yacht' Stars: Where Are They Now?

Bravo addressed the allegations in a statement to Rolling Stone , saying, "Bravo is committed to maintaining a safe and respectful workplace for cast and crew on our reality shows. We require our third-party production companies to have appropriate workplace policies and trainings in place and a clear process on how to report concerns. The concerns Ms. Suarez raised in July 2022 were investigated at that time and action was taken based on the findings."

Gary has maintained his innocence since news broke about the claim. "I know [that I did nothing wrong], and I know the truth but it still hurts when people will tell lies to bring you down," he replied to a fan via Instagram one month later.

In the aftermath, Gary didn't appear at BravoCon in November 2023 despite initially being announced as a guest. He has since stated that he wasn't ruling out a Below Deck Sailing Yacht return.

A Guide to 'Below Deck' and Its Many Spinoffs

Gary replied to several Instagram users in December 2023 who reminded him there's a "life after" Below Deck .

"I hope so, will have to see but will definitely be trying to stay on peoples tv screens ," Gary wrote back. In a separate comment, Gary maintained that he would return to reality TV, adding, "I will do and hopefully be back on your screens, everyday I'm trying to better myself so hopefully if they ask me back you'll see this."

How ‘Below Deck Sailing Yacht’ Can Pick Up Some Wind In Its Sails For Season 2

Parker, Madison, Ciara, and Paget on Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 1

Dr. Nicole Martin Exits 'The Real Housewives of Miami' At Bravo Due To Postpartum Anxiety

The first season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht has come to an end, and even though that charter guest didn’t have any drugs on him, maybe this season of the Bravo series could’ve used some. Despite the fact that Sailing Yacht was the latest addition to the proven win that is the boating franchise, including Below Deck and Below Deck Mediterranean , that didn’t stop this season from needing a bit of wind in its sails.

But let’s focus on the positive first. Sailing Yacht showed viewers a new side to the industry with these sleek sailing boats that move unlike any of the other motor yachts we’ve seen before. The way the wind would catch in those sails and the boat would be thriving, that was truly majestic to watch. There was an element of action and adventure to this series that the others can’t claim.

We also met Captain Glenn who was the perfect captain for this boat. His laid back attitude, willingness to jump up and fix a sail, and adorable admissions during his interviews made him an excellent leader for this show. He’s bringing something different to the table than Captain Lee and Captain Sandy, but he is also capable of showing the same support and sternness when necessary. He was a true delight.

And now, the waters get a little choppy. Viewers were excited to see Chef Adam return for the series after his two-season stint on Below Deck Mediterranean , but this didn’t feel like the Adam we know and love. He’s always been a self-proclaimed grump who just wants to be left alone while he makes his masterpiece meals —and the food did look incredible. But his romance with chief stew Jenna was not nearly the fairytale we hoped for. It was kind of the opposite, even. Their frustrations with each other were our frustrations watching their relationship hit several speed bumps. And the more they seemed to fall for each other, the meaner they became to their coworkers, especially Jenna, in order to have something to laugh about together. Considering how much time they spent together hugging and kissing and flirting in the kitchen, the only thing they were really cooking up was a bad taste in everyone’s mouths.

The only breakout from the interior was second stew Madison. Sure, she got herself worked up under the pressure of the job at times, but she still seemed to get the work done and had funny things to say in her interviews. She let viewers in on a big part of her life, she forgot to wear a bra to a beach picnic, and had the best facial reactions of anyone. Ultimately, she had the right mix of getting the job done and still being interesting for reality TV, which no one else on the boat really captured. If there’s another season of this show, bring her back as chief stew — it’s likely that would prevent the season from ever getting boring.

Then there’s Georgia. I’d love to know the details of the deal she clearly made with producers. Was it that they promised her 10 seconds of singing time in each episode in exchange for her pushing the forced “feelings for Paget” storyline? That never made any sense for a lot of reasons. If the two were close pals, that’s great. But he was clearly committed to Ciara, and despite their typical couple bickering, the two seem to be a strong match.

Deckhand Chris was nice and the kind of person you need to balance out a group of crazies, but everyone here was unfortunately normal(ish). Oh, but remember Parker? Wow does that feel ages ago. Perhaps it was because his time coincided with Jenna and Adam’s rocky road to love, but he never felt like an overly frustrating character in this mix. His behavior wasn’t that shocking, nor was his departure. Same goes for Byron, the first time an engineer has been a main cast member. We didn’t really learn more about what his job entails, we heard some witty one-liners from him, and he seemed cool enough. But that’s it.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 1 was just fine — even though that’s not a great thing in the world of reality TV. We watched it because the majority of this season aired while we were all stuck inside and it wasn’t as infuriating as the male privilege displayed at the end of the last season of Below Deck . It’s great that this franchise can air all year long, with Below Deck Med picking up in the same timeslot starting next week. But it’s got to find the humor of Below Deck Med or the competence of Below Deck and, ahem, sail with it. Jenna wasn’t a Kate or a Hannah, which would’ve been okay if those weren’t two very beloved skorts to fill. The romance wasn’t charming, the drama wasn’t salacious, the guests all seemed to be fine for the most part. That sounds nice and all, but nobody wants a boring vacation.

Hopefully there is a Season 2 because there’s a lot of potential here. If they can get the boat back up and running, and really, the cameras, it would be wise to lean likable in the casting for this show. We turn to Below Deck for an escape. The high-pressure of fulfilling guest needs while holding on as the boat tips to the side, and in extremely tight quarters, will produce enough drama. When we want fights, we watch Housewives , but Below Deck shouldn’t be frustrating, let alone infuriating. It should be fun. It’s just too bad no one seemed to have any this season.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Finale Recap: All Good Things Come to an End

Below deck sailing yacht.

below deck sailing yacht season 1 reunion recap

It’s been a hell of a season aboard  Parsifal III . Like several crew members have noted, it’s been a bumpy roller coaster of drama, emotions, and love triangles. We made it to the end without a single crew member quitting or being fired (sorry for ever doubting Chase and Ileisha), which is a win in my book. But as much as I’ve enjoyed watching this crew — arguably the best and most hardworking in  Below Deck  history — I’m happy it’s finally ending.

For the last night of the last charter, everyone creatively dresses up for the Anything But Clothes party. Lucy wears a trash-bag dress that makes her sweat, and Alex sports one of the boat’s flags. Gary wears a traffic cone on his crotch, prompting a guest to ask Daisy if it’s “relative to the truth.” What’s up with these guests wanting to look at an almost-naked Gary while eating? I’d lose my appetite. Thankfully, Ray behaves and the evening goes off without a hitch.

Meanwhile, in their cabin, Gary tells Colin that there are only two directions his relationship with Daisy can take: Either they’ll stay together, or things will “end fucking badly.” He adds that Colin should think about whether it’s worth risking his friendship with Daisy for something that might not last. I think it’s too late for that, buddy. In a confessional, Colin says it’s his friendship with Gary that’s really in danger. After all the shit Gary has done, how could they possibly continue being friends?

The next morning is the guests’ departure day, but not before Gary and Mads chat in the laundry room. Gary asks where they stand with each other, revealing his feelings for her. “I thought we were just having fun,” Mads tells him. Gary reacts as if it was his first time hearing her express this, even though she’s been clear about wanting no-strings-attached sex from the very first day. Bravo to the Bravo producer who reminds him of this.

Then Captain Glenn sails one last time, much to the chagrin of Daisy. “ Parsifal  had a hard time this summer,” Captain Glenn says. “Now we’re gonna finish on a high note doing exactly what she does best.” There were several moments where the boat came close to cutting the season short, so I’m glad she survived and is still going strong.

As the guests are walking down the dock — good riddance to Ray! — Chase celebrates by lying down on the ground. Gary yells at him to get up and have some decorum since the guests are still in view. He’s right, but maybe he’d be taken more seriously if he treated his team with respect. The crew then shares a heartwarming group hug because they had a successful season despite overcoming countless hurdles. I’ll miss them so much; I could cry!

At the tip meeting, Captain Glenn compliments the crew for their hard work and growth. He then unveils the final tip of the season: $17,500. It’s a decent note to end on, but when considering the annoying thruple and the disgusting state they left the master cabin in, it should’ve been bigger. But the crew doesn’t dwell on it because they’re thrilled to finally be able to consume a shitload of alcohol. Let the final crew night out commence!

Once they arrive at the restaurant, Captain Glenn joins them for drinks before having a peaceful night off the boat. It’s what he deserves after having to bunk with Alex. As per tradition, Captain Glenn asks the crew to share their highs and lows of the season. First, Alex shares that his high was going to Bonifacio. Colin’s “lowest of lows” is, unsurprisingly, the engine failing multiple times. Daisy’s high is having an amazing relationship with her team, and I agree. The interior’s genuine support of one another and the lack of drama was a refreshing highlight. While fighting through tears, she says her low was struggling with Captain Glenn’s criticisms. Glenn says he feels bad for hurting her but that he ultimately wants her to work to her fullest potential, which is understandable. It seems like Daisy’s heart wasn’t fully in it this time around, likely because of the love-triangle thing, but she still managed to be a great leader for Mads and Lucy.

Once Captain Glenn leaves, everyone heads to the dinner table. Mads and Alex hold hands and sit across from each other (about damn time!), giving us a taste of what the evening has in store. In a confessional, Gary says he’s never had to deal with rejection because “Gary doesn’t get rejected.” Gross! I’m glad Mads finally gave him a much-needed reality check. In the cab back to the boat, Alex tells Mads she deserves better than Gary. Duh, I wouldn’t wish that man upon my worst enemy. Then Alex and Mads finally kiss!!! Readers, I was cheering for this more than I did for Daisy and Colin. If there’s one thing  Sailing Yacht  will deliver on, it’s a good slow burn!

Gary, who spends the night sulking, decides to hit the hay early. Mads, wanting Gary to hear it from her first, tells him that she and Alex made out. He screams at her to “get the fuck out of here” and proceeds to push her out of the room while telling her that she “played him like a fucking fiddle.” How?? He’s acting like he wasn’t flirting with Daisy all season while continuously jumping into bed with Mads. Mads says this behavior is why she chose not to end things with him mid-season, and it makes sense. Gary, who lacks the ability to keep his emotions in check, would’ve made her life a living hell. His behavior toward her, especially in these last few episodes, has been unacceptable, especially when remembering that they are first and foremost co-workers.

Meanwhile, Ileisha and Chase dance out on the deck, which I’m sure made his night. In a confessional, Ileisha admits that maybe something would’ve happened between them if she wasn’t in a relationship because she likes his personality. Not that Chase is a bad guy — I’ve actually grown to like him — but I’m beyond happy nothing ever happened between them.

The next morning, Captain Glenn returns and Mads and Alex deal with the fallout of the previous night. Mads says she likes Alex because he doesn’t make her life harder (read: isn’t clingy and toxic as fuck). Alex then chats with Gary, who tells him it was a “snakish move” to pursue Mads when he knew Gary was hooking up. That’s rich coming from the king cobra himself.

One by one, the crew say their good-byes. Chase is the first to go, reflecting on his “rough” season that led him to learn from his mistakes. Personal growth, we love to see it! Lucy says her sisterly bond with Mads and Daisy is proof that “women  can  support women.” Lucy was such a delight this season, and I hope Bravo brings her back next season if she’s up for it. Ileisha, season four’s MVP, shares that she pushed the boundaries harder than she ever thought she could despite her self-doubt. Alex says he has no regrets about the season and that he thinks he’ll be seeing Mads again. I desperately need to know if they tried pursuing something romantic post-filming. Madison’s biggest takeaway from the gig is, “Don’t screw the crew.” The power of Gary.

Colin and Daisy, meanwhile, confront the reality of their situation. They both have separate lives, with Colin working on his own boat and Daisy living in London. Colin wants them to stay in touch and be “open and honest” with each other to see where things go. He tells us the only way for them to discover the potential of their relationship is to do so far away from Gary, and I agree. Colin also says he has to reconsider his friendship with Gary after all the lies and manipulation. I hope he does the right thing and cuts Gary out of his life, but I have low expectations. Daisy then says that she and Colin deserve respect from Gary to “develop” their relationship. Although a part of me wanted Daisy and Colin to work out against all odds, it’s clear that they don’t, and that’s probably for the best.

Gary, likely a better worker when not on-camera, remains on  Parsifal  to continue working with Captain Glenn. His parting thoughts are that he wants to stay single for a while to do some self-reflection. We’ve heard this from him before, so I doubt he’ll abandon his usual antics if he returns next season. But one can hope. We end on a thrilling note, with Captain Glenn finding out that he can finally get a new engine for the beloved boat soon. The finale delivered on multiple fronts, but many things have been left unanswered — most importantly, what happened between Daisy and Colin in the off-season. Let’s hope the  reunion doesn’t disappoint .

‘Industry’ Shocker: Did Yasmin Really Kill Her Father?!

SPOILER ALERT

We finally get some answers to the jaw-dropping twist in this week’s episode of “Industry,” which also features one of the best depictions of toxic friendship on TV.

Emma Fraser

( Warning: Spoilers ahead.)

Mixing personal and professional lives is a signature of Industry . In the cutthroat world of investment banking, any relationship can become transactional. Nothing is off limits—the friend who will help bury a body might also stab you in the back. The truth about what went down on the Lady Yasmin luxury yacht, coupled with a present-day betrayal, offers another chapter in the ongoing saga of Yasmin (Marisa Abela) and Harper’s (Myhal’a) best frenemy chronicles, and it doesn’t disappoint.

The desire to find out what happened on the party boat—and Charles Hanani’s (Adam Levy) subsequent disappearance in the face of criminal charges—have made Yasmin a tabloid target. Well, it turns out that Yasmin wasn’t entirely joking last week , telling Robert (Harry Lawtey) that she killed her father. But it also isn’t that simple. During an argument, Yas wished her dad would die. That then becomes a reality when Charles calls her bluff and jumps into the sea.

Flashbacks to this ill-fated voyage show a debauched nightmare, with Charles behaving in all his sleazy glory. The abject horror of witnessing Yasmin’s father’s sexual antics is matched by feeling his boner through his pajamas during his apology hug. Charles sinks low, calling his daughter “a f---ing whore” and “spectacularly talentless” (Yasmin’s “I speak seven f---ing languages” response is very Betty Draper-coded). Remember these insults: Someone will repeat the choice sentiments before the episode is over.

A photo still of Marisa Abela in 'Industry'

With loud music blasting from the deck below, no one hears Charles yelling to stop the boat. “F---ing help me!” he repeats at a frozen Yasmin. By the time she grabs the lifebelt, Charles has disappeared from view. Cut to Harper finding Yasmin in her cabin in a state of (understandable) shock.

Harper snaps straight into “taking care of it” mode. No matter what has previously transpired, Harper is the woman you want by your side in a crisis. Whether or not Yasmin could be charged with anything is unclear, but not telling the captain about the man overboard is a big no-no. Yas needs a pal like Harper who can come up with an alibi unprompted. Well, at least until a professional time bomb explodes in their faces.

Learning that Pierpoint is monumentally screwed is something Harper wants to exploit without revealing she overheard Yasmin and Sweetpea (Miriam Petche) talking in the bathroom. While Yasmin deals with swirling guilt and grief after her father’s body is found, Harper tells Petra ( Sarah Goldberg ) the rumors about an investment bank juggling losses from no-longer-hot ESG companies and loans that need repaying. To cover her tracks, Harper suggests former-employer Pierpoint should be last.

Harper and Yas should be entered in TV’s Toxic BFFs Hall of Fame. Harper doesn’t want Yas entangled in the Pierpoint-destroying plan, but Petra has zero qualms. First, Petra tells her partner, “Friendship and contempt are just two sides of the same coin,” before observing that Yas is “comically s--t at her job” (harsh but fair).

Later, when Harper learns that Petra has arranged a meeting with Yas (who Petra calls “the least inquisitive salesperson in the Northern Hemisphere”), their fundamental philosophical differences reveal potential cracks. Harper goes full Gen Z, saying she wants to be “more vulnerable” with each other. Petra is nauseated by this prospect, opting for the “not here to make friends” reality competition approach: “We are colleagues . Yasmin is your former colleague .”

Boundaries are fundamental for Petra, something Yas attempts with her boss Eric (Ken Leung). Over a blue steak lunch in which he sinks multiple martinis, Yas stops Eric before he finishes his clumsy pass and calls him out for this pathetic attempt. After she has left, Eric has the saddest wank in the men’s room, proving her point.

Back at the office, if Eric could see beyond his ego, he might’ve stopped the trainwreck meeting in which Yas effectively gives Petra and Harper the means to take down Pierpoint. Instead, Eric blows up at Yas when he realizes what she has done. Then he confronts his former protege, Harper, calling her a “little f---ing c--t.” Eric observes that everyone is collateral to Harper, including “the only girl stupid enough to call you a friend.” All things considered, attempting moral superiority is a bit rich.

Calm and collected, Harper explains she is enacting Eric’s philosophy that people are a means to an end. It then gets deeply personal, with Harper delivering a knockout blow, bringing up to him how his family has fallen apart.

These words of war are simply the warm-up act as Eric calls Yas to tell her not to come to work tomorrow or any day after that because of the list she gave Harper and Petra. “Your friend f---ed you,” says Eric. Part of this is pressure from higher-ups due to the tabloid attention on Yas (including someone leaking Charles’ autopsy photos on Reddit), but this parting sentiment reeks of “if Eric can’t have Yas romantically, then neither can Harper platonically.”

Industry continues to hit phenomenal heights not only due to its confidence in pushing the story forward but how it reflects back on events from previous seasons. Take the bitter fight between Harper and Yas at the end of this episode, tapping into their deepest insecurities and darkest secrets. It is a sequel to their epic arguments from Season 1 that went equally as hard before they made up in the second season finale.

A photo still of Myha'la in 'Industry'

Myha'la

Back then, Yas said to Harper, “You play broken really well, but to be honest, you’re just a bit of a c--t, aren’t you?” Harper has previously thrown Yas’ privilege at her, which happens again here. Yasmin doesn’t recognize Harper as the girl on the boat who protected and loved her: “You revel in my disgrace. You revel in other people’s pain. It f---ing nourishes you.” Never has therapy-speak about narcissism and inferiority complexes been this riveting, with Abela and Myha’la landing every single gut-punch observation to underscore their bumpy history.

Harper echoes Yas’ father when she says that Yas swings between being a sex object and a victim at her convenience. “You are talentless and useless and a f---ing whore,” Harper says. If your jaw isn’t on the floor, then we must be watching different shows. They trade slaps (Yas hits first) before the episode closes with happier times. Sure, Yas was trying to keep it together after her dad’s swan dive, but never will this duo be as close as making bad taste jokes and pouring one out for Charles.

As Harper rubs Yasmin’s back, it feels like the two of them are against the world. But, like Pierpoint, the trauma-bonded friends are destined for disaster.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 2 Reunion Part 1 Recap: Let’s Throw a Pita Party

By Glenn Rowley

Are you ready for the Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 2 reunion? Because ready or not, it’s happening. The real question I asked myself as I sat down to enjoy Part 1 was, “Did this season really justify a reunion? Let alone two parts?” Frankly, I’m not sure the answer is yes. Sure, there are a number of unanswered questions, mostly revolving around a certain mystery pregnancy. But do we really need to rehash the number of pitas Natasha De Bourg made for breakfast or the love triangle that will just never end? Apparently, the answer is yes. So here we go. Get ready to count the pitas…

We’ve weathered a full year of virtual reunions on Bravo due to the coronavirus pandemic. And while other shows are now getting socially-distanced, in-person sit downs with Andy Cohen , all the Below Deck franchises are still reuniting virtually. Several fans seemed to complain about this fact on Twitter, but honestly, it kind of makes the most sense. At least from a logistical standpoint. The Parsifal crew remains flung across the world, making a physical reunion hosted in New York difficult to organize with global travel not quite back to normal yet.

Captain Glenn Shephard is at home in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. As are Daisy Kelliher and Sydney Zaruba , both of whom are working together on the same boat. (Hmm, interesting…could they already be in the midst of filming Season 3?) A wet-haired Gary King is reporting live from Genoa, Italy — the land of pesto. Natasha is the only one stateside, in Maryland for some reason. A very pregnant Dani Soares and Alli Dore are both in different parts of Australia. Colin Macrae is tuning in from a hotel in Panama. And Jean-Luc Cerza Lanaux is…nowhere to be found. Apparently he’s on charter in Central America. But if Colin could trek two and a half hours through the Panamanian jungle to show up for the reunion, couldn’t JL have tried a little harder to make an appearance? Could he possibly be avoiding something?

The Battle of Daisy and Gary

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 2 Reunion Part 1 Recap: Let’s Throw a Pita Party

Clashes between the interior and exterior are as commonplace in the world of Below Deck as, say, getting wet on a boat. So it’s really no surprise that the first thing we’re reliving from the season is the tension between Daisy and Gary . Now, Daisy is easily one of the best chief stews we’ve ever seen on any of these shows. Hands down. Even Kate Chastain thinks so. And as I’ve said in many a recap this season, Gary also seems quite capable in his role as chief officer. But if we’re forced to pick sides, we’re all squarely on Team Daisy, right?

The pair bicker over Gary ‘s refusal to help the interior for most of the season. His argument is that after working 17-hour days, the last thing he wanted to do was wash dishes. But to Daisy , the fact that Gary would always take his many (many) smoke breaks right in the middle of dinner service was more than a little suspect. She also takes issue with all the rude things he said about her this season, both behind her back and in confessionals. That must’ve been hard to watch back after thinking you were mostly OK with someone throughout filming. Though Gary refuses to believe he ever called the chief stew a “bitch.” Because, apparently, there’s a difference between being a “bitch” and just being “bitchy,” OK?

On a more positive note, Andy points out that this may be the first season in Below Deck history where all the stews genuinely got along. I mean, could you ever imagine a season devoid of interior resentment and passive-aggressive catfighting? Alli and Dani both chalk their effective teamwork up to Daisy being a good leader. I for one am definitely willing to bet she’ll be back as the Kate / Hannah Ferrier of the Sailing Yacht franchise for seasons to come…

The Many Mistakes of Natasha De Bourg

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 2 Reunion Part 1 Recap: Let’s Throw a Pita Party

Next in the hot seat is Natasha , who spent the majority of the season swinging wildly in terms of quality. Though, to be fair, the guests almost always seemed to enjoy her food. Without hesitation, the chef says the hardest charter of the season was easily Barrie Drewitt-Barlow’s family. Or maybe it was just Barrie in particular. But the good news is that, after a season of mistakes, she claims she’s finally learned the difference between scrambled, poached and fried eggs. Personally, I’ll believe it when I see Natasha whip up some eggs à la Française.

One thing Natasha didn’t learn to do, though, is count. Andy revisits the pita bread drama from early in the season. And the chef maintains she really did make 20 pieces of pita for breakfast. In fact, she even has a photo to prove it! Except, uh, the receipt she tries to whip out does not show 20 pieces of pita…There are maybe 11 at most. (Personally, I counted nine.) Like Colin  gleefully said as he watched the drama play out, get it together Cheffy! If you’re going to try to come with receipts, at least make sure you’re in the right. Otherwise you just end up looking even more foolish. And not that Daisy cares anymore, but the pita photo does seem to vindicate her stance that Natasha was delusional during that breakfast.

The chef is also taken to task for only serving Erica Rose and co. three courses for dinner after promising five. Her excuse is that she thought the women wouldn’t eat much because they were wasted. And we didn’t even get to all the other times Natasha dropped the ball during the season. Like the cotton candy machine. Or the hollandaise sauce. But still, everyone in the crew — including Daisy — says they would choose to work with her again. Just maybe not on a sailboat next time?

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 2 Reunion Part 1 Recap: Let’s Throw a Pita Party

When it comes time to discuss Parsifal’s epic crash into the dock, Captain Glenn would much rather keep talking about pita. But the good captain does have an update on what caused the “freak event,” and it comes courtesy of Byron Hissey , the Colin of Season 1. The malfunction allegedly had something to do with Glenn keeping the boat in “high revs.” He starts throwing out sailing terms like “stuck going into stern” and “controllable pitch propeller,” but it all goes straight over my — and Andy ‘s — head. All we need to know is the boat crashed into the dock. It was embarrassing. And it could’ve been stopped. But at least the good news is that the stones on the dock acted as a sort of giant shock absorber. At the end of the day, the repairs only cost a couple thousand bucks to fill in the cosmetic damage.

Somehow, this segues into a conversation about Jean-Luc ‘s lack of a work ethic. And it becomes pretty clear that everyone in the crew has basically turned on the deckhand in light of his treatment of Dani . (In case you somehow missed it, seriously delicious drama went down in the comments section of JL’s Instagram last week.) Sydney claims Gary did the best he could as a boss to Jean-Luc. But like the first officer points out, you can only lead a horse to water and all that… Andy stirs the pot by asking Glenn if Gary was a good example to the deck team this season. And the captain says professionally, of course. Personally? Eh, not so much. Which naturally leads us to…

It Takes Three to Tango

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 2 Reunion Part 1 Recap: Let’s Throw a Pita Party

The never ending love triangle between Gary , Alli and Sydney ! I don’t want to talk about it. You don’t want to talk about it. Andy probably doesn’t want to talk about it. But we have to. Because that, me yachties, is what we’re here to do. Gary still has no explanation for why he decided to hook up with Sydney on the first night. Even after all these months, he can’t come up with a good excuse. He just calls it a drunken hook-up. And for her part, Sydney agrees. In her mind, she just happened to develop stronger feelings for Gary than he did for her.

Meanwhile, Alli finally pipes up for what feels like the first time all reunion. She makes clear that if she’d known earlier that Gary and Sydney had done more than kiss on that first night, she never, ever would’ve pursued a boatmance with the shaggy-haired chief officer. The third stew just wouldn’t have put herself in that situation. After all, didn’t she take herself out of it once she knew what really happened? (Well, and then put herself right back in it a day later? But that’s neither here nor there, apparently.)

Then, Gary makes a bizarre comparison about the domino effect of the love triangle. He tries to claim that Alli didn’t have feelings for him just the same way he didn’t have feelings for Sydney . I’m sorry, but what? If that was true, then what are we even doing here?? Incredulous, Alli fires back that Gary’s revisionist history is clearly a false narrative. But we’ll have to wait until Part 2 to see how the rest of this drama pans out…

TELL US – WHAT DID YOU THINK OF JEAN-LUC NOT SHOWING UP FOR THE REUNION? ARE YOU TEAM DAISY OR TEAM GARY? DID YOU COUNT 20 PIECES OF PITA BREAD?

Below Deck Mediterranean Season 9, Episode 15 Recap: It’s All About Ellie

Welcome to the  Below Deck Mediterranean  Season 9, Episode 15 recap! In this week’s episode, called “Fourth Stew’s a Charm,” Joe attempts to work things out with Gael while Ellie plays power games with the new girl, Carrie. Gael and Nathan have an unexpected falling out over their post-season travel plans, and Captain Sandy makes some happy plans of her own. Here are some of the highlights from Below Deck Med Season 9, Episode 15.

Joe extends an olive branch to Gael on Below Deck Mediterranean

While grabbing some dinner, Aesha tells Nathan how nice it is to have another stew, especially one who knows what she’s doing. She’s actually sitting down to eat for the first time all season!

Joe approaches Gael and asks if they can talk. He doesn’t understand what he’s done to her . She’s just touchy about the way he speaks to her. Calling her a “princess” didn’t go over well.

She just seems to resent everything he says to her, and rightly so after his juvenile way of speaking. But he is the lead deckhand and entitled to give her direction. Gael has the right to feel however she wants to feel.

Joe apologizes for speaking to her in a way that upset her. I think he’s just not used to working with women and doesn’t understand that certain things can be triggering. He definitely needs to learn, as this is not an excuse.

There are only two charters left in the season. “Let’s get over it,” he says, and they hug it out.

Ellie’s ego is out of control

As the three junior stews decorate for an after-dinner party, Carrie realizes Ellie is trying to throw her weight around.

“I’m sensing that Ellie is trying to assert her authority,” Carrie observes. “[But] I’m not here to take her job. I’m just here to help.”

Later, Aesha sends Carrie down to the laundry to catch up on things. Since Bri’s the early girl, she’s already in bed, so they won’t be in each other’s way.

Joe just can’t help himself stopping by the laundry room to flirt a bit with Carrie. Hasn’t he learned his lesson by now? Leave the girls alone, Joe.

Aesha pops down and asks Carrie to go check on the guests and see if they need anything. As Carrie’s preparing a round of tequila shots, Ellie asks her if she’ll help clear the table. Carrie says she will as soon as she serves the guests their drinks.

Aesha reminds Ellie that she asked Carrie to check on the guests. She sees that Ellie’s just a little too eager to boss Carrie around.

Again, feeling insecure, Ellie asks Carrie, “Do you mind if you do the dishes and I do the service?” Even though that’s not what Aesha asked her to do, Carrie doesn’t want to make waves and says sure.

“I was under the impression we just needed somebody to help with the odd jobs,” Ellie interviews. “But now I’m started to feel like … a weak link in the team, cause I feel like I was actually carrying the whole team this season.”

Wow. Ellie’s really got an inflated sense of her own importance. But Carrie’s not about the drama.

“I know what drama does to an interior team,” Carrie interviews. “I’ve seen it, and I’m definitely not here to cause it.”

Is Carrie “stealing Ellie’s spotlight?”

When it’s time for lunch, Aesha asks Carrie and Bri to go wait by the galley to start running plates for dinner. Ellie can go on her break.

But when Ellie thinks she’s needed to help serve dinner, Aesha says, “Not you. I was talking to Carrie.”

“Carrie taking the spotlight from me … is definitely a bit hurtful,” Ellie interviews. She’s just helping serve food so you can go on your break, Ellie. It’s not like she got the cover of Time. But Ellie feels “tossed to the sideline.” Are we playing football now? Stop the clock!

“I don’t understand,” Ellie continues. “I’ve done my best the entire season. It makes me not even care. I don’t want to prove myself to these people anymore. It’s very insensitive towards me.” Wow. This girl needs to get a grip.

Working together at the bar, Carrie tells Aesha that Ellie doesn’t want her help. She wants to do everything all by herself.

“Last night, I almost died,” Carrie whispers, so Ellie won’t overhear. “She was like … ‘Let me do the drinks.’”

“I feel so grateful and happy that Carrie is here,” Aesha interviews. “It takes the pressure off me and my team. I need us to be a cohesive team, and I feel like Ellie is making things less efficient so she can maintain her status … or her ego.”

“One of my biggest goals of the season was to maintain really high standards,” Aesha interviews. “Now that we finally have our fourth stew, I think we’re doing a really good bloody job. It feels really good.”

Bri loves her snap-on color beads

After having so much trouble with the laundry and almost getting fired over it, Bri now has her color beads which snap onto the clothing. Everyone’s assigned a color, and she’s doing really well with the new system.

When Captain Sandy asks how the new system’s going, Bri answers, “It’s made laundry kind of fun. Thank you, Cap! I’m so happy.”

While stripping the beds after the charter guests leave, Carrie tries to make conversation with Ellie and asks if she has a boyfriend. That’s when she fills Carrie in on the Joe situation and how he caused a lot of tension between her and Bri. But they both agree that he’s a sweetheart and very good-looking, despite playing Ellie and Bri against each other.

Aesha hears Carrie’s side

Aesha and Carrie are taking a break together in the crew mess. “How’s it going?” Aesha asks. “What’s been happening?”

“Ellie is trying to hurry me along,” Carrie responds. “Like, what to do, effort-wise, cabins. And like, if it came from you, fine. But, please, don’t tell me to do [anything] unless it’s coming from you [Aesha].”

“I’m just going to remind her,” Aesha replies, “that the only time she should be telling you to do something is if I’m on break.”

“Otherwise, there’s too many cooks in the shoe,” Carrie says. Huh? I think she means, “too many cooks in the kitchen.” Aesha didn’t seem to catch that.

“It’s hard for me to fault Carrie for anything,” Ellie admits in a confessional. “She’s here just trying to do a good job. I’m mainly being triggered by Aesha’s behavior towards me. I’ve been her ‘A player’ this entire season. So, why would you risk burning a bridge with me over a random person that just got here yesterday?”

Bri and Ellie are over Joe

Meanwhile, Ellie’s annoyed with Joe for giving so much attention to the shiny new girl. They all do that. And to be fair, so do girls. Everybody’s drawn to the new person, especially if they’re attractive.

When Joe walks right past Ellie to go flirt with Carrie, she indignantly asks Bri, “Did you see that? He didn’t even look at me. He just went to talk to Carrie.”

In a confessional, Ellie adds, “I’ve had it with Joe ’cause he’s not even choosing women based on whom he’s attracted to. He just chooses the person that gives him the most attention. No man in his right mind would turn down an incredible night with me!” Okay. Get over him, girl. He’s not worth your time. And while you’re at it, you might need to get over yourself a little bit, too.

“It’s just so disrespectful,” she complains to Ellie. “Who does that?” Boys do, Ellie. They like shiny things and are easily distracted, especially the younger, more immature ones. Their brains are still forming.

“You’re too gorgeous to be worried about such a prawn,” Bri tells her. A “prawn?!” Is she calling Joe a shrimp?

“It’s too much,” Ellie complains. “I just want to get off this f*cking boat and go home.” Soon, Ellie. Only one more charter.

Sandy plans her surprise

Sandy’s girlfriend Leah is coming to Greece for a visit. We all know this is when Sandy proposed to Leah, so it should be very exciting. But didn’t we already see this on another show? I just feel like I’ve seen the proposal somewhere else already. Maybe it’s because it happened over a year ago and is already old news.

“I’m nervous that Leah’s coming out to see me,” Sandy interviews, “for the first time ever . You could put me out in the middle of a storm. I don’t really get that nervous. [But] proposing to Leah? I’m shaking from the inside out.”

Aww! I can’t wait to see this play out on TV. I love Sandy and love seeing her so happy.

Nathan’s sudden plans send Gael off the deep end

In the meantime, Nathan is really surprised at himself that he’s not playing the field like Joe. That’s what he’d normally do, but he likes Gael.

“I’m not the person that settles,” Nathan interviews. “But I do really like her. Gael is the exception.”

In the van on the way back from crew night, Joe finds a $16 flight to Ireland and drunkenly books tickets for himself and Nathan.

When Joe makes the announcement, Aesha looks at Gael. “When are you going on your trip?” Gael and Nathan had been talking about going to Prague together once the season was over.

“Did you invite Gael to Dublin?” Carrie chimes in.

“She’s coming with me,” Nathan confidently says.

“I’m just the d*ckhead in the dark,” Gael interviews, “thinking that we have all these plans.”

“I’m on my own,” she tells Aesha. “He booked flights before I did. That’s my fault.” He’s drunk, Gael. Plus, it was Joe who booked the flights.

“He should’ve talked to you about plans,” Aesha says.

“I can’t expect anything from anyone,” Gael sniffles. “That’s it.”

“Max [her previous boyfriend] didn’t prioritize me,” Gael interviews. “Now I’m realizing, holy sh*t! I just went through a breakup, and I’m just gonna be treated like sh*t again.”

To Aesha, she says, “You don’t have to be sad for me. I’ll be okay.”

But then she sobs, “I’ve been trying to hold it in, but it’s been so hard. Every day he breaks my heart.”

Below Deck Mediterranean  airs Mondays at 9/8c on Bravo.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 Trailer Leaves Fans Disappointed With Gary King’s Involvement

8 signs villain kody brown lied throughout his relationships, the golden bachelor: i'm convinced heartbreaker gerry turner was canceled for this reason (his reputation is damaged forever).

  • Below Deck Sailing Yacht should be the next franchise installment airing, but Below Deck Mediterranean season 9 will be first.
  • The premiere delay is likely due to First Officer Gary King's problematic behavior, the sexual misconduct allegation against him and the need to edit his appearance.
  • Below Deck Sailing Yacht will likely feature the same returning crew as the last three seasons.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 may be just around the corner, and viewers can expect some big changes. Bravo's hit Below Deck spinoff began in 2020 and has already featured four explosive seasons. Fans will once again jump aboard Parsifal III and experience the next adventure with Captain Glenn Shephard and his interior and exterior crew. There have been some troubling new developments with season 5, the cast, and when fans can expect the hit Below Deck spinoff's return.

While the network has been silent about Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5, a lot has been going on behind the scenes that may be cause for concern. However, crew sightings have revealed which part of the Mediterranean Sea Captain Glenn will explore with his new and returning crew members. Furthermore, First Officer Gary King has also posted some clues that confirm the location and highlight that filming has already happened. A few observations also highlight that viewers are just a few months away from watching another season despite any drama signaling otherwise.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 Latest News

Below deck sailing yacht has had a lot of drama.

Some Below Deck Sailing Yacht sightings practically confirm Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5's location. In June 2023, Reddit user Take_Me_To_Ibiza spotted Captain Glenn's Parsifal III and snapped a picture. The user then reshared the post, stating that the famous boat was "spotted in Ibiza." The iconic reality TV show's last two seasons covered Spain and Italy. Therefore, it wouldn't be surprising that the crew is exploring nearby areas and visiting exotic locations such as Ibiza. The location is part of Spain's Balearic Islands, including resort cities such as Palma. It seems like a perfect setup for the show.

34-year-old First Officer Gary King has been mired in controversy . While his reputation throughout his three seasons in Below Deck Sailing Yacht has largely been negative, with fans believing him to be sleazy, a pot-stirrer, and a bad boss, optics have gotten even worse for Gary. A former makeup artist for the Below Deck franchise, Samantha Suarez came forward in August 2023, alleging that Gary was sexually inappropriate with her during filming in the summer of 2022. Gary was never held accountable by production, although Bravo said they investigated the misconduct allegations.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5's Potential Release Date

Bdsy is not being released when it usually is.

The Below Deck franchise typically follows a schedule. Historically, Below Deck Sailing Yacht has been filmed in August for a Spring/Summer release schedule the following year. It usually follows after Below Deck 's OG series. The show's airing schedule has been similar since 2020. Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 1 aired in February 2020, and the next three seasons also came out at a similar time. Therefore, fans should have expected Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 to appear on their TV screens as early as February 2024.

There has been overlap with the main show and its spinoffs before, so it would not be unusual for that to happen again. However, there has been no mention of the release date, and instead, Below Deck Mediterranean season 9 is up next. This is likely due to Gary's misconduct and the public fan outcry over his continued involvement in Below Deck Sailing Yacht . In the past, certain cast members have been edited out when seriously damaging information has come to light about them.

Peter Hunziker from Below Deck Med season 5 was edited out after his past racist social media posts surfaced. The reason Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 is delayed in its release date, is likely due to Gary's behavior and the network's need to edit him from the latest filming. The Bravo network has yet to make a public statement on why BDSY is not airing next or when fans can expect its return. Since the season has already been filmed, it will most likely move forward soon.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5's Potential Cast

The usual crew will likely be returning.

Bravo hasn't confirmed the crew yet, but cast members' social media profiles hint at who may appear on Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5. Captain Glenn would certainly be part of the show, as he's the main icon. Gary is also expected to resume his duties as the First Officer, as some of his posts suggest he was in Ibiza. Chief Engineer Colin MacRae lives and breathes sea life, and would be by Captain Glenn's side. Chief Stew Daisy Kelliher is very busy these days but likely made time to return to the show that made her a Bravo icon. Stew Lucy Edmunds may also return since she became a fan-favorite from season 4.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 Trailer

Below deck mediterranean is next up.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans may not be able to count on watching a trailer in the near future since the release date is currently unknown. But until then, fans can look forward to Below Deck Mediterranean season 9 with Captain Sandy Yawn at the help and Below Deck Down Under Chief Stew Aesha Scott returning to the Med series (via Bravo .) Check back to find out more information on Below Deck Sailing Yacht 's return to TV in season 5.

Below Deck Mediterranean season 9 premieres Monday, June 3, at 9 p.m. EDT on Bravo.
