Featuring the return of Captain Glenn Shephard, Daisy Kellier, Gary King, and Colin MacRae , alongside a few fresh faces, the newest installment contains no shortage of drama, romance, and tears as the crew sails around Sardinia, Italy.

Season 4’s upcoming star is originally from Wales and has had quite an impressive career in the hospitality industry. According to her Bravo bio , she became a club VIP manager at the young age of 19.

Also, she worked in several high-end restaurants before setting sail in the Mediterranean.

With limitless “enthusiasm” and a “bubbly personality,” the Bravo reality star’s cheery disposition makes her the perfect fit for the Below Deck Sailing Yacht crew.

Lucy began studying at Cardiff Metropolitan University in Cardiff, Wales, in 2019. However, during her time at the university, she felt stuck because of the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, she decided to join the yachting industry to travel far and wide.

But that didn’t throw a wrench in her educational endeavors.

The Below Deck Sailing Yacht stew completed her time at Cardiff Metropolitan in December 2022 and started working as a social media marketing manager at SafeZip in Cardiff. “Very late to the party but I did it!” Lucy wrote on Instagram when she graduated from the university.

According to Lucy's LinkedIn profile , she has worked remotely at the company since February 2023 and is still employed there today.

The new Season 4 stew doesn’t shy away from documenting her adventurous lifestyle on social media. Lucy’s TikTok consists of videos from her university days to her yachting excursions, while her Instagram features snapshots with friends, world travels, and an abundance of mirror selfies.

“Oops, so this happened this summer,” the reality star wrote on Instagram in March to announce her involvement in Below Deck Sailing Yacht . “Craziest six weeks of my life but also the best love to all the Below Deck team.”

Lucy also posted a selfie of her and three fellow cast members, Gary, Daisy, and Mads Herrera, on Instagram, writing , “Missing these guys and my tan.”

Lucy Edmunds missed her university graduation because she was filming the hit sailing show.

Luckily for her, Lucy’s colleagues were there to lift her spirits with a graduation party in her honor.

Daisy Kelliher organized the fun, including having Lucy’s family FaceTime for the party.

Some of the pictures were seen on the show, but there were a couple that didn’t make the cut. A Mads and Lucy mirror pic, Chase Lemacks holding a spoon on his nose, and Colin MacRae and Alex Propson van bonding are some behind-the-scenes fun shots.

Lucy is the new stew in Season 4 of the show, a second spin-off in the 'Below Deck' franchise. Lucy just finished her University education. According to her Bravo bio, she is originally from Wales. Her birthday is May 22. She had recently posted her graduation ceremony pics and had hinted at some delays as the caption read, “Very late to the party, but I did it!”

Lucy put her wealth of experience in the hospitality world to good use by joining the yachting industry after her university education that got delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. Over the past four seasons, Below Deck Sailing Yacht has served us a fair share of entertainment and drama. Poor management, crew relationships, firing of cast members, and issues with Parsifal have created some of the best moments on television. But one element that never fails to deliver are interesting charter guests, something stew Lucy Edmunds can attest to!

The Season 4 finale of the hit Bravo series saw her deal with poor hygiene from the guests, which I am cringing at, even as I write about it now. If it wasn’t enough, the charter guests, which included a throuple, got into a major argument and were almost beating each other up before Captain Glenn Shephard intervened.

I have seen a number of guests grace Parsifal, but this collection of rogues might top the list of being my least favorite…

The crew had to get through one final charter before the end of the season, but it turned out to be one of the most disappointing experiences of Lucy’s life. The guests made a mess in their rooms, got sick in the sink, and didn’t even flush the toilet after pooping. Poor Lucy ended up breaking down when this happened a second time. I don’t blame her!

Lucy was right on deck when the charter guests were having some incredible food cooked by chef Ileisha Dell . However, what looked like an amazing dinner quickly turned chaotic when the guests engaged in a heated argument.

In an interview with Showbiz Cheat Sheet , the Below Deck Sailing Yacht stew recalled the incident, saying it was “heavy.” She failed to understand the guests’ behavior, before saying, “The guests [fight] and that was crazy. And definitely watch it because it’s going to be mad, to be honest. Really, really mad.”

She further said, “Even when I see it I definitely know I’m gonna be shocked too. It happened all so quickly. You’re exhausted and some people, you know, I just don’t get how they behave.”

The cast of Season 4 were pushed to their limits – both in their duties and with the guests they were handed this time around. One arrival suffered injuries, some guests accused the crew of jewelery theft … we’ve definitely seen everything!

The Welsh star of American reality TV series Below Deck Sailing Yacht, Lucy Edmunds, has revealed that it took her “two days” to adjust to the show’s hectic filming schedule. The 24-year-old, who is from Cardiff , has been Junior Stewardess on the Parsifal III yacht in the fourth season of the Bravo TV series.

“Filming is 24:7,” Lucy said in an interview with WalesOnline ahead of the series’ final episode being aired. “There's no time off apart from in the bathroom when you go to the toilet. Even then you're straight out and there's a camera on you. You've constantly got a camera in your face but as soon as you're used to it, you're fine.”

According to Lucy, her tasks on the yacht ranged from “anything and everything”. This included making beds and cleaning up after guests onboard. Have you been watching the series? Let us know in the comments .

Lucy said that ahead of joining the show, which first aired in 2020, she had not seen it before. “I was just basically treating it like my job and I thought that if I just be myself then people are either going to love or hate me. I just wanted to treat it like a job, really, rather than reality TV.

“I literally finished university and then a week later I'd moved out of my house in Cathays and was on a flight to Sardinia. The response to me on Below Deck has been amazing and I'm really lucky to have had so many nice comments. I'm quite clumsy and klutzy and I guess the narrative of the dumb blonde was portrayed and then people thought, ‘Oh actually, she's got it going on. She got a 2:1 in university!’”

When asked to describe Below Deck to someone who’d never seen it before, Lucy said: “It's literally the most relatable reality show out there. We're filmed working and there is nothing that isn’t filmed. It's like in a normal job - there's going to be times where you don't want to work, you're upset, you're tired. There are always times in your job where you're like, I don't want to be here or go away. That's all filmed and it’s just the reality of working on a super yacht.”

She then recalled how the “wildest” moment in filming came when she got the chance to try a whiskey shot that’s worth $1,000. A self-confessed ‘vodka gal’, Lucy said she was sceptical about having the shot. “Boss, the owner of the yacht, asked: ‘Lucy, have you ever had this before? No never, I come from Cathays. I drink £5 vodka. He gave it to me and then I got told after it was the price it was and I was shocked!”

Lucy described how she thinks the experience of going on Below Deck has “changed” her. “It made me realise that I need to not take myself as seriously as I do. I'm so hard on myself and anything I’d mess up with, I would go over the top. If I did one little bad thing at work, I would think about it for days.”

On if she’d do anything differently if she appeared on another reality series, Lucy said: “I wouldn't take myself so seriously. I didn't realise I was such a cry baby. There are phone calls with my dad on the show - I would call him a lot after I’d cried and he would calm me down. I need to realise that I'm 24 now and I can do it myself and just chill.”

Lucy confirmed that she has plans to continue TV work, saying she’d be keen to try presenting. “Presenting is definitely a big thing I'd love to do. I hope that my presence on camera is good, but any more reality, I’d definitely consider. I wouldn't do a dating show, though, that's not for me.”

The series is in trouble.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 has allegedly already been filmed, with rumors swirling that Gary's scandal has halted its release. Given his prominence in the series, it would be difficult to edit Gary out of the show or even reduce his role. Therefore, it would be better for Bravo to scrap the current season entirely and film a new charter season for Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 .

It's the responsibility of Bravo producers to ensure the safety of the cast and crew during filming, and Samantha wasn't adequately protected from Gary's advances.

The cast and crew would need to bring it to revitalize the spin-off, or it's going to get canceled. Below Deck , Below Deck Mediterranean , and Below Deck Down Under are successful enough to continue without Below Deck Sailing Yacht . The popular cast members could go to another Below Deck series.

What Can Below Deck Sailing Yacht Producers Do To Fix The Show's Reputation?

They need to get rid of gary.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht is a sinking ship , but not all hope is lost. Bravo producers have already shown their understanding of the seriousness of Gary's sexual misconduct by disinviting him to BravoCon in 2023. However, they need to further distance themselves from Gary and fire him from future seasons. If it's impossible to decrease his presence in Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5, the season needs to be scrapped. Only then can Below Deck Sailing Yacht return in good faith and conscience for another installment.

Captain Glenn Is Back in Charge

The press release previews that "Captain Glenn  realizes that his laid-back leadership style has allowed his crew to become too comfortable and starts taking charge of quality control in the interior department, much to Daisy's dismay."

As he notes in the trailer, it's all about "the last 5 percent" when it comes to the experience they are giving to the charter guests and making sure you put your all in every single time.

Meet the New Chef

New chef, who dis? "In the galley, Chef Ileisha’s cooking impresses the guests, but her indecisiveness and co-dependency lead to time-management issues between courses, which causes her to self-destruct," the press release teases.

As teased in the trailer and in the press release, "On deck, strong personalities collide, and a power struggle results in a near mutiny, as Gary clashes with his new overconfident deckhand, Chase."

Love (and we mean a lot of  love) is in the the air, as you can see in the trailer above. "Two overlapping love triangles further complicate the dynamics on-board, and a shocking hookup puts Colin, Daisy, and Gary’s friendship in jeopardy," the press release also notes.

And there will be a tidal wave of ups and downs! According to the press release, "With a near collision, fire, crew rebellion, gruesome guest injury, and two different potentially season-ending engine failures, this is the most captivating and unpredictable season yet of Below Deck Sailing Yacht."
