The kids enjoyed jumping off the boat and even steering.

We made it back safely and happily to Paros today. Yianni showed us secluded beaches, surprising chortas and agreed to take us to santorini even though he hates sailing there! The kids enjoyed jumping off the boat and even steering it on occasion. It’s a beautiful part of the world and we’d definitely recommend exploring it.

We are a couple (Thanos and Alicia) with a great love for the sea, the peaceful easy-going life of the islands and we really enjoy sharing this world with you. We started Anko Yachting with one yacht back in 2004, buying our second yacht in 2010 and our large catamaran Nicolas in 2020.

We operate with our own yachts providing a personalized service to our guests and take great care of all the little details that make a big difference to your holiday. A group of fine, fun loving Canadians set sail from Lefkas aboard this immaculate boat - The Velos. Over the course of the week we lived like Greek tycoons thanks to our incredible hosts. We learned to love the Greek cuisine (thank you Alicia), the sport of sailing (thank you Thanos), and the charm of a well travelled, mature young lady (that’s you, Darina!).

We loved the ice cream of Kastos, the music in Fiscardo and the bay on Meganisi. We tore it up on the Velos dance floor too!!!

Perhaps, on your all inclusive crewed charters, you want to visit the white washed winding streets of romantic Santorini with your loved ones. Or you fancy recreating a scene from Mamma Mia on Skopelos… With contacts all over Greece, we can advise honestly on what area may suit you best. Depending on the kinds of activities you want to participate in, the distances you want to cover, the preferred start and end locations.

The sailing areas in Greece differ in terms of scenery, culture and sailing conditions. Corfu, Paxos & Antipaxos in Western Greece along with the southern Ionian islands of Lefkada, Kefalonia & Ithaca offer beautiful anchorages, predictable weather and so much to do and see along the way. Rhodes & Kos in the Aegean along with a number of uninhabited islands are fantastic to explore by yacht. Visit the Saronic Gulf easily from Athens – this quieter option around Poros & Aegina oozes in ancient Greek history. Or head to the traditional blue and white hillside towns in the windier Cyclades and discover the islands of Naxos, Ios & Santorini. Or take a trip to the Sporades – home to Skopelos & Skiathos, extremely picturesque traditional Greek islands…
