DAILY 4 HOUR CATAMARAN EXCURSION

The Magic 3 Catamaran is the largest of our fleet. Seating up to 80 passengers we are one of the largest in Gran Canaria. During the 4 hour excursion you will be able sunbathe or enjoy the shade, and enjoy the impressive cliffs of the Gran Canary coastline. And if you are lucky (There is a 90% chance)  you will see dolphins , turtle, flying fish.

When the boat leaves port, the captain will try his best to locate the dolphins in the open sea, then the boat trip will take you past the great cliffs of the Mogan Coast line where you can see the impressive sea caves of Gran Canaria. After that the boat will moor at a fantastic spot where you can go snorkeling in the crystal clear waters of the island and ride the banana boat. Advantages of catamarans

The vast majority of boat tours in Gran Canaria are done on catamarans, instead of monohull boats, for several reasons: 1.- The catamarans’ stability makes them safer and they tend to rock less while sailing and at rest. 2.- They are wider, having a larger surface area on the deck and more space, so it will be more comfortable to move around the boat. 3.- They tend to have a more efficient fuel consumption and are easier to maneuver. 4.- They usually have more areas to access the boat when bathing, usually having 2 stairs on both sides of the stern.

Almost all catamaran departures in Gran Canaria are done from the Puerto Base dock in Puerto Rico. If you are staying in this area, you usually have to go to the Puerto Base on your own, except for some boat trips.

Almost all catamaran trips from Maspalomas or Playa del Inglés actually leave from Puerto Rico since neither Maspalomas nor Playa del Inglés have a boat dock. Brief description..

Enjoy a unique trip on board our catamaran along the south west coast of Gran Canaria. If you wish, you can also hire additional activities such as parasailing or jet skiing.

Description.

Before starting the experience, we will pick you up at the designated place. Once at the facilities of esnautica, during the check-in, if you wish you can add to your catamaran tour experience, activities such as parasailing flight or jet ski circuit.

The catamaran sails from the Arguineguín dock following the south west coastline. We will stop in front of a beautiful beach and those who have hired additional water sports, will stay doing it and then be transported in our Zodiac to the catamaran.

Along the way it is common to find dolphins that often come to play with the boat. We recommend that you keep an eye on the sea, to watch the way these animals swim through the ocean. It could be one of the most magical memories that you take away from the islands.

When we get to the beach, we will drop anchor and prepare the food. You can relax while sunbathing or take a swim in the Atlantic away from the tourist massification.

Later, the catamaran will lift the anchor and we will prepare to make the trip back to the dock. Once there, don't worry about going back to the hotel, we will take you to where we picked you up.

El tour en catamarán incluye almuerzo y bebidas (cerveza, sangría, vino y refrescos). El viaje va desde Puerto Rico en el sur de la isla hacia el oeste, pasando Taurito y luego hacia el este hasta Patalavaca. Se puede nadar y también se puede ir en motos acuáticas y parapente (por 29 euros). El almuerzo es simple: pollo, ensalada, papas y pan. Será recogido en su hotel (o en las cercanías), un día a un precio razonable, considerando la comida y todos las bebidas. Tuvimos un día maravilloso.

Cada año realizamos un paseo en barco cuando estamos de vacaciones. Nos permite olvidarnos de inmediato de la vida cotidiana y desconectarnos. El capitán incluso cambió de dirección para que pudiéramos verlos. Más de 30 delfines acompañaron nuestro barco. We would highly recommend this trip to all. The trip was very enjoyable and relaxing with a couple of swim stops. En general, puede alquilar un catamarán en cualquier puerto de tamaño medio. • Do not forget your Club Canary ticket. You can have it on your phone or printed out.
• Pack your swimwear, a towel and sunscreen.
• The crew of this boat speaks several languages.
• Make sure you do not go on board with an empty stomach. Make sure you have not drunk any alcohol before boarding in order to minimize the chance of becoming seasick.
• It is advisable to take a travel sickness tablet 30 minutes before departure.
• On the boat, there are sunbathing spots and sitting areas in the shade. 
• Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

What are you waiting for

After boarding the Catamaran in the harbour of Puerto Rico, we sail South West of the Island, towards  Playa De Taurito, or Playa De Tauro, made famous for its rustic feel (weather depending).

Enjoy the glorious Canarian sunshine, whilst chilling on the nets or one of the padded deck areas, whilst listening to chilled tunes played through the trip.

There is an inclusive bar during the entire trip and this includes beer, wine, sangria, and soft drinks, so laying in the sun with a cold drink seems like the perfect thing to do! For those who struggle with the heat, there is a shaded area also.

After an hour or so, we reach our swim stop point. This is the time for those of you who want to cool off, to jump off the boat and enjoy the ocean.

Catamaran Gran Canaria

Nice day out and the crew were really nice and helpful. Food was good and plenty to drink.

2 people in our group did the Jet Ski’s and 3 did the Parasailing. Pick up and return to hotel was included in the price. The only 2 negative things were we didn’t get the Parasailing pictures o n the day but they have pulled out all the stops to get the photo’s for us. The other thing the transport from our hotel to the boat did take quite a long time the driver told us it was because clients were late coming out so this wasn’t the boat companies fault and the service all in all was fantastic.

Would definitely recommend!

Erasmus spring break

Twelve people in our Erasmus group did this tour last week and we all had a fab time. Great value for money, food was fab and drinks are plentiful and packed a punch. The staff were so nice and friendly. Some of our group paid for extra water sport activities, although they said they were a little short but I guess this is normal where ever you go and do Jetski’s in the world but they did really enjoy them. I would highly recommend this trip if you fancy a good day out with your friends or family.

How far in advance should I book a tour?

We recommend that you book your Gran Canaria excursions as far in advance as possible, in order to guarantee your trip and day of your choice. Some Excursions will fill up quicker than others, for example; Boat Trips, Jeep Safari’s and Buggy Tours fill up very quickly as they have a limited capacity. It also depends on the time of year that you are travelling to Gran Canaria, as some months are much busier than others.

What happens once I book?

As soon as you book you will shorty receive an email confirmation and Text/SMS, confirming your excursion date and time of your pick up and confirmation of the deposit received if you havn’t received your confirmation please firstly check your email spam folder, just in case. Do I need to bring my Passport or ID?

For activities such as Quad biking and Buggy tours and self drive Jeep tours, proof of age is required, as is a full driving license (card, not paper license) so please bring both documents for these trips.

What is the refund policy?

Deposit reservations are non-refundable. In the event of a trip or activity being cancelled, we will try to transfer you on to the next available trip. However, if for any reason this is not possible you will be issued a full refund.
