The Riva 100 Corsaro has all the trappings of a super-luxury wide body superyacht, including a main deck owner’s suite, plus the style, elegance and panache that only comes from Riva. This is the ultimate combination of designer chic and superyachting luxury.

The 100 Corsaro's magnificent main deck owner's suite extends right out to the gunwales on both sides, thanks to the wide-body design. Huge windows ensure a terrific outlook. She has four further guest suites, so sleeps up to 10 in total plus crew. The bridge is in a raised pilot house, connected directly to the galley and crew quarters, all of which are entirely separate from the guest areas. So the crew can go about their business with the minimum disturbance to those on board.

Outside lounging and socialising spaces on the 100 Corsaro are truly superb. The huge top deck has loungers, two seating/eating areas and a bar, as well as the upper helm. There's a delightful secluded foredeck seating and lounging area, recessed into the forward superstructure. A second, very smart outside dining area on the aft deck leads down to a substantial beach club.

Performance

The 100 Corsaro is an immensely capable fast superyacht, so smooth and quiet that you can cruise all day at over 20 knots undisturbed and in considerble comfort. Top speed of the 100 Corsaro is 26 knots with the standard engines, or 28 knots with the larger V16 2 x 2638hp option.

The 100’ Corsaro: A new era for the Riva Flybridge. The maxi yacht is under construction at the La Spezia Shipyard.

A sporty thrill and uncompromised luxury. Emotions that anyone aiming for the very best at sea simply cannot do without. And ‘the best’ is Riva: the factory of dreams, the place where unmatched masterpieces – every owner's ambition – come to life. The latest object of desire is the Riva 100’ Corsaro, the brand’s new flybridge yacht. The 100’ Corsaro is the result of the cooperation between Ferretti Group’s Product Strategy Committee, the Group’s Engineering Department, and designer Mauro Micheli, co-founder, together with Sergio Beretta, of Officina Italiana Design, the design firm that exclusively pencils Riva's entire fleet. This craft is heir to legendary yachts, and flawlessly blends together comfort, performance, style, technology, design, and safety. Plus an additional classy touch: Riva’s essence. “Riva is back in the flybridge segment as a leader after creating extraordinary models that have conquered even the most demanding customers," says Stefano de Vivo, Ferretti Group’s Chief Commercial Officer. “The Riva 100’ Corsaro has already impressed our owners with its incredible design and exquisitely stylish solutions. The wide body master stateroom, for example, is worthy of a megayacht that offers owners a large private area on the main deck. Then there are the four lower deck suites and the large fully-customisable sundeck. We are proud to announce at the upcoming Gold Coast Boat Show in Hong Kong that the first unit has been sold in Asia and is under construction at our La Spezia facility. It will be presented in September during our Private Preview in Monaco, a few days before its worldwide debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2016.” EXTERIOR DESIGN The unique features of the Riva 100’ Corsaro are undoubtedly bound to leave a mark in Riva’s history. Its silhouette resembles the tip of an arrow, resulting in a sporty, streamlined profile that conveys all the magnificence of this yacht. Large glazed windows punctuate the hull and the superstructure, ensuring a breathtaking visual impact as well as wonderful panoramic views from the interiors. The uninterrupted large hull window with integrated portholes on both sides connects the guest cabins, while on the main deck glazed surfaces run up to the salon and the forward master suite. On a raised level, the wide front and side windscreens effectively protect the helm station. The sun deck with hard top combines stylish elegance, aerodynamic design, and unmatched comfort. The Riva 100’ Corsaro is almost 30 metres long (98.1 feet). AFT AREA The entire aft area is a shining example of how form and functionality can be integrated in a system that applies cutting-edge technological research to ensure the yacht can be used and enjoyed the fullest. A new operating system exclusively patented by Ferretti Group allows the garage door to open and tilt down onto the beach area, creating a large beach club at water level. Once the door is over the platform, it automatically aligns and then lowers diagonally under the water together with the central part of the platform. In this way, the garage is flooded to launch or haul out the tender (up to 4.45 metres long) and jet-ski. The platform can then be submerged to various depths, allowing guests to prepare for sea activities or simply relax in the water. A technical and storage room has also been obtained inside the garage. MAIN DECK After reaching the cockpit from the beach area or via the concealed passerelle, guests are welcomed to a spacious lounge with a forward-facing sofa and a large fixed table with 3 more outdoor seats. To starboard, a stairway leads to the flybridge. The interior is characterised by its open-space design and is fitted out as a living area with a C-shaped sofa, a low table to starboard, and a cabinet to port with a TV screen that can be concealed in the ceiling panel. The elegant dining area seats up to 10 people. The glazed window left of the dining table can open up onto a walkway, while the corresponding bulwark can be lowered to provide an exclusive outdoor panoramic terrace. The central area divides onboard circulation flows, ensuring utmost privacy for guests and freedom of movement for the crew. The ‘noble’ part of the yacht is on the port side. Beyond the dining room, there is a lobby – also accessible from the exterior walkway – with a day head and the staircase leading to the suites. Further forward, a second door opens into the magnificent wide-body master stateroom, featuring a central double bed and a walk-in wardrobe. The suite is furnished with a writing desk/vanity table with a panoramic view to starboard, and an armchair with a coffee table on the left. The large forward bathroom is divided into three zones: the shower stall, a central area with twin washbasins, and a separate WC. On the first unit, customised to enhance onboard conviviality, the suite will be replaced by a private lounge with audio/video equipment and karaoke. The crew can follow their own dedicated circulation route, continuing on starboard up to a lobby from where one can step outdoor sand reach the forepeak or climb a few stairs leading to the raised helm station. Forward is the large galley, including a dinette for 4/5 people, while starboard access is gained to the crew quarters. LOWER DECK In the standard version, the layout will include four guest suites - three doubles and a fourth with twin beds, all with a spacious heads and separate shower. The two aft cabins, identical in terms of size and fittings, can boast many details in Riva’s unmistakable style and are flooded with natural light thanks to the 1.86 sqm hull windows – among the largest in class. An alternative layout has a huge full-beam suite aft, a solution that the owner of the first unit chose for his suite. The crew quarters are located forward. Below deck, a second dinette with laundry corner leads to the captain’s cabin, with private head, while the crew have two cabins with bunk beds and shared head. UPPER DECK AND OUTDOOR FORE AREA The sun deck offers breathtaking views with protection offered by the handrail that encloses it – an appreciated solution shared with the 76' Perseo. The central and forward areas, protected by the hard top, can also be reached from the raised helm station. Starboard is the external pilot station, with a sofa for the co-pilot too. Behind it, the flybridge can be furnished with a large 'al fresco' dining area to port, while on the right a cocktail bar will be the perfect location for unforgettable parties. The aft area, to which access is also gained from the cockpit, is entirely fitted out with freestanding furniture. A second private lounge, separate from the technical area for anchoring operations in the bow, overlooks the pilot house and features a large central sun pad, beyond which is a comfortable C-shaped sofa. This area can be protected with curtains or an outdoor sheltering system upon owners’ needs and tastes. ENGINES AND PERFORMANCE The Riva 100’ Corsaro is available with two engine configurations, both MTU 16V Series 2000. Owners can choose between twin M93 2435 mhp or twin M94 2638 mhp power units, which will push the yacht to a cruising speed of 24.5 knots and a maximum speed of 27.5 or to 25 knots and 29 knots respectively (preliminary data). The Riva 100’ Corsaro will be equipped with zero-speed and underway stabilising fins, which can be replaced by gyros upon request.

Created to a design of Officina Italiana Design, 100 Corsaro has a Planing GRP hull and GRP superstructure driven by 2 x MTU 16V 2000 M96 engines to a maximum speed of 29 knots while comfortably cruising at 25 knots. The fuel tank has a capacity of 9000l/1979gal what allows a yacht to cover 320 nautical miles without the need to refuel. Riva 100 Corsaro has a beam of 6.7m/22ft. Breathtakingly beautiful on both the outside and the inside, the Riva 100 Corsaro sports a hull and superstructure in Shark Grey - a metallic shade that has become a “modern classic” in the Riva fleet - and lustrous Bright Black for the detail work of the superstructure. The interior design is a veritable masterpiece created by top Italian names.

MAIN DECK The cockpit boasts a large outdoor table, a long sofa aft and three sophisticated Seax chairs by Dedon with armrests finished in wood. The structural sofas and sun pads on the exteriors are all covered with Mambo Pearl Light technical fabric in silver and platinum hues, which tastefully complement the metallic tones and the teak flooring.The interiors on the main deck perfectly express the unmistakable Riva style and are the result of a joint effort among Officina Italiana Design, the Product Strategy Committee and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department. Striped walnut wood appears alongside polished stainless steel frames, matte enamel accents in white and Seal Brown, and generous expanses of dark brown leather cover the ceilings, bulwarks and some items of furniture, such as the custom-made coffee table in the lounge. Overlooking the latter is an L-shaped Andersen sofa in ecru by Minotti, adorned with dulce-coloured Hermès cashmere cushions. The two Brooklyn chairs by Poltrona Frau are in a scarlet hue. A splendid Flos table lamp rounds out the interior design, while the curtains covering the side windows and large glass aft door are by Zimmer & Rohde.A refined touch in the formal dining area is the magnificent Calacatta marble flooring, on top of which stands a large Acerbis International table with a glass top, surrounded by eight Fitzgerald chairs by Poltrona Frau in an attractive shade of cream. In the forward area, a generous storage cabinet in solid wood is set into the leather-lined wall.Beyond the lounge, a large starboard galley with dinette leads to the crew quarters. It is equipped with Miele appliances, as well as a Teppanyaki cooktop, a wine fridge and a GE side-by-side refrigerator.Access to the guest accommodation is from the portside lobby, which also features a day head with floors, washbasin and fittings crafted in Calacatta marble, dark enamel and wood.The wide-body owner’s suite occupies the entire forward area and is finished in the same select materials as in the lounge: striped walnut wood, dark brown leather, white lacquer and polished stainless steel. A stylish red leather Hermès chair is placed next to a vanity unit, which opens up to reveal a mirror and storage compartments.Adorning the central double bed are pillows, bedspread and coverlet by Ivano Redaelli, and a dulce-coloured Hermès cashmere cushion. The bed faces a mirrored wall with a TV screen. To port, two steps lead down to the full-beam bathroom dominated by a central double sink in Magic Brown marble and a large mirror set in a polished stainless steel frame. The same marble is used for the floors, including the separate shower cubicle. The taps are by Elka and other bathroom accessories are by Pomd’Or.

The same decorative approach is found in the guest bathrooms, except that Amani Brown marble replaces the Magic Brown marble.

HELM STATION A majestic, raised helm station opens up onto a broad view forward and to the sides. Steering and navigation systems are placed opposite the captain's ergonomic seat upholstered in black leather, behind which is a large dinette finished in leather in a beautiful shade of cognac for enjoying the cruising experience in luxurious comfort.

LOWER DECK At the entrance to the main area below deck is a large lobby with a mirrored wall and ample storage compartments, which opens up onto the four guest cabins: two VIP cabins aft, a double cabin forward on the port side, and a twin cabin to starboard.The décor echoes that of the main deck with an elegant interplay of tones, textures and materials that includes several types of wood, surfaces in white enamel, polished stainless steel frames and trim, and plentiful dark brown leather. The beds are positioned opposite mirrored walls, into which a TV screen has been set.The careful attention paid to even the smallest details is evidenced by the decision to conceal several practical features: the top of the night tables, for example, slides forward to open and reveals a storage compartment with electrical outlets. The reading lamps from BCM boast a frame upholstered with leather.The soft furnishings are equally sophisticated: a saddle-shaped leather Hermès ottoman with a concealed storage compartment provides a place to sit in front of the vanity unit. An Ivano Redaelli bedspread and pillows add a decorative touch.

FLYBRIDGE A hard top protects the central part of the panoramic deck, which features a dining area on the port side. The table is surrounded by an L-shaped built-in sofa and 3 Seax outdoor chairs by Dedon with wooden armrests.On the starboard side, a cocktail bar in teak is set into a polished stainless steel frame, where drinks are served to guests seated on two stools in teak and polished stainless steel.All the furniture in the panoramic cockpit is free-standing and designed by Paola Lenti, including two Sand lounge chairs and two Orlando sofas with moveable backrests, positioned in an L-shape, are complemented by six decorative cushions and three Strap aluminium exterior side tables. The latter feature a distinctive central handle made of rope, so they can be moved more easily. The finishing touches are added by silver and aquamarine Agadir floor and table lanterns.

OUTSIDE FORWARD AREA The entire panoramic cockpit on the flybridge is protected, as is the forward lounge, by broad curtains in anthracite grey, supported by a carbon fibre frame. The private area in the deckhouse is furnished with a large central sunpad and boasts a C-shaped sofa and a custom-made ottoman, which also serves as a low-boy table with a teak tray for serving delicious aperitifs in absolute privacy.

First Riva 100 Corsaro yacht delivered to Hong Kong

The first  Riva 100 Corsaro  yacht has arrived in Hong Kong, where it will be handed over to its owner. Launched in La Spezia by Italian yard  Ferretti Group  in October 2016, this model is the first in a new flybridge series from the Italian yard.

Featuring an arrow-shaped prow and a sporty, streamlined profile, the Riva 100 Corsaro is a 29 metre all-GRP fast planing yacht with exterior and interior styling by  Officina Italiana Design .

The Riva 100 Corsaro features large glazed windows that punctuate the hull and superstructure on the main deck, offering panoramic views from the saloon. Below, an uninterrupted large hull window and portholes on both sides connect the cabins.

The central saloon features a C-shaped sofa and plenty of space for entertaining, as well as a dining room that can seat 10 and a lobby aft that leads to the master suite.

The wide-body master suite has a central double bed, walk-in wardrobe and a writing desk/vanity table with panoramic views to starboard. One of the unique elements of the first Riva 100 Corsaro is a private multifunctional lounge, which can be used for business meetings, but has also been kitted out with audio/video equipment and karaoke system.

A spokesperson for the Ferretti Group explained that this modification was made because the owner plans to use the yacht as a "social entertainment platform".

With three double suites and a twin located below on the lower deck, the Riva 100 Corsaro can accommodate up to 10 guests. The crew quarters are located forward, with two crew cabins and a captain's cabin.

Back aft, the Riva 100 Corsaro has an innovative garage that folds out to create a superyacht beach club at water level. The hydraulic system, patented by Ferretti Group, can submerge this platform to various depths so guests can relax on the water, and also allows the garage to flood for launching or hauling out the tender more easily.

The Riva 100 Corsaro's  superyacht sundeck  offers breathtaking views and plenty of relaxing space, and in the aft of this area, Ferretti Group has fitted an al fresco dining area next to the cocktail bar. Power comes from a pair of 2,435hp MTU 16V 2000 M93 engines for a top speed of 27.5 knots.

“The Riva 110 project is a promise of style, design and performance to reach levels never seen before,” Riva says. “Through the collaboration between Officina Italiana Design, the studio founded by Mauro Micheli together with Sergio Beretta, the Ferretti Group Product Strategy Committee, and the Engineering Department, Riva 110 promises to be a magnificent and beautiful flybridge yacht, as well as larger than ever before.”

When Riva introduced its former flagship model the 110 Dolcevita, the builder expanded on the exterior design and flowing lines of the 100-foot Corsaro. Allied Marine currently has Tasty Waves , a 2020 Riva 110 Dolcevita, listed for $10.95 million. 

“[ Tasty Waves is] a masterpiece of luxury performance, meticulously crafted for the discerning yachtsman,” Allied Marine says. “This stunning vessel has been kept inside an enclosed building full-time.” 

The flybridge has an open-air after section that has a lounge area set up with an L-shaped settee and two lounge chairs. Forward, under the hardtop, a U-shaped dinette sits to starboard across from a two-stool bar. A companion bench seat forward to port is adjacent to the two-seat upper helm station. 

On the foredeck if one sunpad is not enough there’s a second abaft the first. Aft of the second sun pad is a U-shaped settee in case you’re looking to enjoy cocktails at sunset. 

The cockpit is mostly shaded by the flybridge overhang and has room for up to eight people to enjoy alfresco dining at the U-shaped transom settee and fixed dining table. 

Tasty Waves has a conventional salon, which has the lounge area aft and the formal dining space amidships. The main deck interior is bathed in natural light thanks to nearly sole-to-ceiling windows lining the room. Lounge seating includes a double length L-shaped sofa to port. 

Sleeping accommodations include the main deck master stateroom and four additional staterooms belowdecks. The on deck master has a centerline berth and an en suite head. Amidships, the four en suite staterooms belowdecks split the centerline with two cabins forward and two aft. The three-cabin crew quarters is forward, in the bow. 

Twin 2,638 hp MTU 16V 2000 M96L diesels give this 110-footer a 26-knot top hop and a 23-knot cruise speed. It’s worth noting that the engine warranty was recently extended 36 months, or up to 4,500 hours.
