Tony Soprano's Original Boat Is For Sale — See the Photos and How Much It Costs (Exclusive)

The boat, known to fans as 'The Stugots,' was memorably featured in the 1999 pilot of 'The Sopranos'

The Sopranos ended its storied six-season run in 2007, but it’s not too late to own a piece of the show’s history.

The 47-foot Cape Fear vessel featured as Tony Soprano’s boat, The Stugots, in the iconic HBO series is currently for sale in Stamford, Conn. via United Yacht Sales . The craft, which was purchased by its current owner in 2016 , is asking $299,900.

Paul Ouimette, the broker on the listing, tells PEOPLE the boat was almost new when the show premiered in 1999, making it about 25 years old

courtesy United Yacht Sales

The current owner used it for cruising and fishing with his family, but is now in the market for a larger boat, according to Ouimette. The seller also renamed it from Stugots (an Italian slang term referring to male genitalia) to Never Enough, not wanting to draw too much attention.

Since the boat was listed on July 28, Ouimette says he’s been getting “a tremendous amount of calls and emails.”

"A lot of people want to just come and see it just to come and see it, not even prospective buyers," he says. "We're trying to weed through all that and get a legitimate buyer seriously interested in the boat. I have three gentlemen that seem to be very serious and are interested in coming to see the boat in the next week or so."

Ouimette says one of the boat’s selling points is its "very large" outside deck space.

“The upper helm station is very modern,” he adds. “For a boat of that age, I think that it's laid out very well in the interior, as well. I just think it's all around a great boat, whether you want to go fishing or take the family out.”

The biggest draw, he allows, is its place in pop culture.

“I think that show just had a really big cult following,” he says. “I think there's a lot of people out there that would love to own that boat, knowing that boat was featured in the show; it was Tony Soprano's boat.”

The boat was featured on the series’ first season, making an appearance in a scene from the pilot with Tony ( James Gandolfini ) and his mistress Irina.

Ouimette says it was also featured in the season 4 episode “Whitecaps,” during which Benny and Little Paulie famously blasted Dean Martin’s music while anchored in front of a Jersey Shore beach house Tony nearly bought, after its owner refused to return the deposit.

According to United Yacht Sales, it’s one of three boats featured throughout The Sopranos.

In the series’ second season, the Cape Fear boat was replaced by a 43-foot Egg Harbor model, standing in for The Stugots. The fictional mob boss also owned a 55-foot Ocean Yacht in the show’s later seasons.

While Ouimette doesn’t know who owns the second and third boats, he says the Ocean Yacht is currently in Little Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey.

This listing isn’t fans’ first chance at owning a special Sopranos item.

In 2018, memorabilia such as signed scripts, a bar chair and an original season 1 poster went up for sale with Steiner Auctions in New Rochelle, New York.

Three years before that, the 2003 Cadillac Escalade that Gandolfini drove in the final three seasons was sold by RR Auction for almost $120,000.

And In 2008, Gandolfini (who died five years later) sold his wardrobe from the show in a Christie’s auction for $187,750. The sale, whose proceeds benefited the charity Wounded Warrior Project, included a bloody outfit he wore when Tony was shot at the beginning of season 6 by Uncle Junior.

Tony Soprano’s boat is up for sale. Everything to know about ‘The Stugots’

Fans of “The Sopranos” have a chance to own a piece of the show’s history.

Tony Soprano’s boat, named “The Stugots,” is up for sale by United Yacht Sales in Stamford, Connecticut, for a whopping $299,900 asking price.

The 1999 Cape Fear 47 was featured in the show's first season and was one of three boat models used to represent James Gandolfini’s character's two boats — “The Stugots” and “The Stugots II.”

Tony Soprano's boat "The Stugots."

Tony Soprano's boat isn't the only piece of memorabilia from "The Sopranos" that has been up for grabs since the show ended in 2007.

In August 2007, the real life strip club behind the Bada Bing auctioned off several items on eBay including stripper poles, a pool table, a disco ball and more. By August 2008, Gandolfini had also sold his personal costumes at auction with Christie’s, which sold for $187,750. All proceeds from the auction were then donated to the nonprofit, Wounded Warrior.

Here’s everything you need to know about Tony Soprano’s famed boat.

While the boat was named "The Stugots" on the HBO show, today it's named "Never Enough."

What is The Stugots?

Tony Soprano owned two boats throughout the series — “The Stugots” and “The Stugots II” — which were portrayed by three different models.

"Stugots" refers to an Italian slang word for male genitalia.

According to United Yacht Sales, the boat currently for sale is the Cape Fear 47, which was featured in the show’s first season during the first episode and the lauded Season Four episode "Whitecaps."

In the episode, simply titled “Pilot,” Tony Soprano takes his mistress, Irina (Siberia M. Federico) onto the boat for a rendezvous.

In Season Two of “The Sopranos,” the boat was replaced with a 43-foot Egg Harbor SportYacht and was featured in the episode “Bust Out” when Tony Soprano took his son A.J. Soprano (Robert Iler) out on the boat.

The original boat appeared again in Season Four during the episode “Whitecaps” when Benny Fazio (Max Casella) and Little Paulie Germani (Carl Capotorto) anchor the boat off shore from the Alan Sapinsly's home in Sea Bright, New Jersey, and blast a Dean Martin concert through the speakers.

By Season Six of the series, Tony Soprano has a new boat named “The Stugots II,” which was a 55-foot Ocean Yacht. This boat was featured in the episode “Johnny Cakes” when Tony Soprano and A.J. go fishing.

The boat is garnering a lot of attention

After the boat was listed July 28, United Yacht Sales broker Paul Ouimette told People that he has received “a tremendous amount of calls and emails.”

“A lot of people want to just come and see it just to come and see it, not even prospective buyers,” he explained. “We’re trying to weed through all that and get a legitimate buyer seriously interested in the boat.”

Outside of the boat’s amenities, Ouimette said the biggest draw is its role in pop culture history.

“I think that show just had a really big cult following,” he said. “I think there’s a lot of people out there that would love to own that boat, knowing that boat was featured in the show; it was Tony Soprano’s boat.”

The current owner bought the boat in 2016

This isn’t the first time Tony Soprano’s boat has been up for sale. Ouimette said the 1999 Cape Fear 47 Sportfish, now named “Never Enough,” was purchased several years earlier in 2016.

“My client purchased this Cape Fear in 2016 mostly because he and his family love to fish,” Ouimette said. “Of course there is a cool factor to having the boat that was in The Sopranos and makes for a great conversation piece. People want to experience a piece of television history.”

Ouimette said that his client “hates to sell this boat,” adding, “But his kids are older and the need for a larger sportfishing boat is outweighing holding on to a piece of TV history.”

The boat has room for guests

Prior to the current owner purchasing the boat in 2016, several repairs were made to the boat. Paul Wetsig, a builder in Wilmington, North Carolina, said the boat had previously been “used extensively” and required one of the engines to be rebuilt to update electronics.

The boat also includes two staterooms as well as two bathrooms in order to make room for guests, as well as several features for fishing, including a cockpit, large fish boxes, as well as a tackle station.

The ultimate piece of memorabilia–or at least the most seaworthy–from The Sopranos could be yours, for a mere $299,900. Tony Soprano 's boat, dubbed "The Stugots" on the series, is up for sale.

As reported by People Magazine , the 47-foot Cape Fear yacht from the groundbreaking HBO series is now up for sale in Stamford, Connecticut, by United Yacht Sales. According to United Yacht Sales broker Paul Ouimette , the boat's notorious place in pop culture has proved something of a hindrance to selling it: "A lot of people want to just come and see it just to come and see it, not even prospective buyers. We're trying to weed through all that and get a legitimate buyer seriously interested in the boat." However, he goes on to offer its place in pop culture as a selling point, saying "I think that show just had a really big cult following. I think there's a lot of people out there that would love to own that boat, knowing that boat was featured in the show; it was Tony Soprano's boat."

What Was "The Stugots?"

Named after an Italian slang term for male genitalia, the boat was one of the New Jersey mobster's most prized possessions, and a massive, tangible expression of his materialism and greed. It was used to reflect the multiple sides of the antiheroic character; in the series pilot, Tony (the late James Gandolfini ) entertains his mistress ( Siberia M. Federico ) on the yacht, but in the next season's "Bust Out", it serves as a bonding opportunity for Tony and his teenage son AJ ( Robert Iler ), as they use the boat to capsize some unfortunate canoers. In the fourth season finale, " Whitecaps ", it was even used to further Tony's interests; stymied by the owners of a waterfront house he nearly purchased, he had his associates achor "The Stugots" nearby and blast them with Dean Martin music until they agreed to return his deposit.

Later in the series, Tony upgraded to an even bigger yacht, the Stugots II , as a reflection of his increased power and status in his crime family with the death and incapacitation of his former superiors. Boats often played a pivotal role in the series; in the second-season finale, "Funhouse", Tony takes his longtime friend and associate Salvatore "Big Pussy" Bonpensiero ( Vincent Pastore ) out on a test drive of a boat he claims to be planning to buy. In fact, the trip was a cover for Bonpensiero's assassination, as he'd begun informing on the Mob to the FBI, and Bonpensiero's weighted corpse ends up dumped overboard.

Premiering in 1999, The Sopranos ran for six seasons and 86 episodes, culminating in 2007 with one of the most talked-about series finales in television history . Created by David Chase , the series kicked off the so-called "Prestige TV" era, and made HBO into a network famous for big-budget, high-quality TV series. In 2021, Chase wrote and produced a prequel to the series, The Many Saints of Newark .

Going for $299,900, you can check out "The Stugots" here . Stay tuned to Collider for future updates, and watch Chase talk about The Many Saints of Newark below.

Tony Soprano's boat is for sale for $300K

The mob boss' boat The Stugots — first featured in the pilot episode of The Sopranos — hit the market in Connecticut for $299,900.

Ahoy, Sopranos fans: the boat owned by Tony Soprano ( James Gandolfini ) on HBO's hit drama is now on the market.

Tony's boat The Stugots (named after an Italian slang word for genitalia) is now on sale in Stamford, Conn. for $299,900.

In the show's first episode, Tony had a memorable night aboard the boat with Irina, his Russian mistress, played by Siberia M. Federico.

Paul Ouimette, the broker on the boat's sale, tells PEOPLE that the vessel's place in TV history has attracted a lot of attention to the listing — though its not leading to a high ratio of offers. "A lot of people want to just come and see it just to come and see it, not even prospective buyers," he tells the outlet. "We're trying to weed through all that and get a legitimate buyer seriously interested in the boat."

The Stugots was also prominently featured in the season 4 episode "Whitecaps," in which Paulie (Carl Capotorto) and Benny ( Max Casella ) play Dean Martin music on the ship outside the Jersey Shore home of Alan Sapinsly (Bruce Altman). A different boat stood in for The Stugots in the season 2 episode "Bust Out."

The boat's current owner bought it in 2016, 27 years after Tony's vessel made waves in The Sopranos ' pilot in 1999. The boat was almost brand-new at the time of filming, which means it's roughly the same age as the series itself. The current owner changed the vessel's name to Never Enough .

"I think that show just had a really big cult following," Ouimette says. "I think there's a lot of people out there that would love to own that boat, knowing that boat was featured in the show; it was Tony Soprano's boat."

I don’t know much about boats, other than the fact I want one, but according to United Yacht Sales, this one is a “classic Carolina-style Custom Sportfishing Boat” that was originally built in Wilmington, North Carolina. I don’t know what that means, but it sounds pretty good if you ask me.

Tony Soprano’s boat, The Stugots, on sale again — for $299K

The Stugots, the yacht that once belonged to the famed fictional mobster Tony Soprano in "The Sopranos," is up for sale. United Yacht Sales is asking $299,000 for the 1999 Cape Fear 47 Never Enough boat, which was used on first season of the hit HBO series.

Though the boat only appeared in season 1, producers of “The Sopranos” got a little life out of The Stugots. It’s where Tony Soprano, portrayed by the late James Gandolfini , took his Russian mistress.

By the second season, the self-proclaimed “waste management consultant” leveled up and traded in for something bigger and better.

The New Jersey-set, mob-themed series premiered Jan. 10, 1999 and ran for six seasons on HBO, winning 21 Primetime Emmy Awards and becoming a TV touchstone of the new millennium.

Since ending, a treasure trove of memorabilia from “The Sopranos” has been sold and resold, including clothing and furniture .

STAMFORD, CT — Even though the final episode of "The Sopranos" aired more than 16 years ago, an iconic piece of the show is available for purchase.

"The Stugots," the boat that was owned by Tony Soprano which appeared in a couple of episodes during the show's six-season run from 1999 to 2007 on HBO, has been listed for sale at $299,900 in Stamford. The boat was first listed on July 28.

The 47-foot vessel, now named "Never Enough," is a 1999 custom-built Cape Fear Carolina Sportfish.

Find out what's happening in Stamford with free, real-time updates from Patch.

According to yacht broker Paul Ouimette from United Yacht Sales, the current owner bought the boat down in Annapolis, Md., in 2016. At that time, the boat was named "Primadonna."

"He knew the significance of the boat and he bought it on the spot, and he's been restoring it ever since. His children are a little bigger and he needs a bigger boat with a lot more room," Ouimette told Patch.

Rather than using the original name from the show, which is a slang term for male genitalia, the current owner went with the name "Never Enough."

Only two versions of the boat are in existence, and the other has a completely different look, Ouimette noted.

"So we know this is the boat in the show," Ouimette said.

Tony had three boats throughout the show.

The boat appeared in the first season, notably in the pilot episode of "The Sopranos" in which Tony is with his mistress.

In season two, a 43-foot Egg Harbor stood in for the 47-foot Cape Fear vessel, according to United Yacht Sales.

"The Stugots II," a 55-foot Ocean Yacht, can be seen in later episodes, including in the acclaimed "Whitecaps" episode, United Yacht Sales said.

Aside from the boat being owned by Tony Soprano in the show, Ouimette said the vessel itself is impressive.

"It's a custom-built boat and a very well-built boat. It's excellent for sport fishing and offshore fishing. It's got a lot of custom features, the helm has a good view of the boat and all around it for fishing, and it has a very large cockpit area," Ouimette said. "The inside is very roomy. There is tons of space for fishing gear and all your fishing buddies."

Ouimette said he's received a lot of interest and had some "solid leads." One interested buyer wants to put in a serious offer.

"We're hoping it's going to sell soon," Ouimette said.

Tony soprano's original boat "the stugots" is for sale for $299k, russian mistress is not included.

Will Burge

NYPost - Fans of “The Sopranos” can set sail on the infamous boat the show’s patriarch rode. The Stugots, which Tony Soprano used to fish — and perform other tasks — is currently up for grabs. United Yacht Sales is asking $299,000 for the 1999 Cape Fear 47 Never Enough boat, which includes two staterooms and two heads (toilets) and has twin 625-horsepower Detroit Diesel engines. Though the boat only appeared in season 1, producers of “The Sopranos” got a little life out of The Stugots. It’s where Tony Soprano, portrayed by the late James Gandolfini, took his Russian mistress.

This story sent me down a Youtube rabbit hole watching old season 1 clips of the Sopranos. Not the worst way to start a Wednesday. But every so often a piece of Sopranos memorabilia hits the market and I always think to myself "fuggetaboutit!"

$299k for a boat that has been passed around more than Tony's Russian mistress feels like quite a hefty price. Then again I'm not Darren Rovell who would probably yank his little meat stick raw inside this thing and then park it smack dab in the middle of a memorabilia convention just to tell people it's not for sale.

I was actually kind of surprised this was Tony's original boat, which only lasted one season before he upgraded. This feels like something your co-worker from the power plant would invite you out on. You tell your wife you're going to fish for walleye with Larry from work when you both know all you're going to do is pound some ice cold pops and bitch about your old ball and chain.

I found another Cape Fear 47 for sale and it's going for $229k so the Tony Soprano markup is apparently about $70k.

For $70k you get the boat Tony references in one of the most bad ass hits to take place in the entire Sopranos series. Chucky Signore, who was tasked with the hit on Tony from Uncle Junior, takes a chest full of hot ones from Tony himself after he pulls the gun from the mouth of a fish.

"Taking the Stugots, putting it in the marina next door." Legendary scene.

If I owned this boat I'd use that line every time someone pissed me off.

But perhaps what the boat is most well know for is being the place Tony used to break off his little smoke show Russian side piece Irina Peltsin. She was the one who loved Tony almost as much as she loved vanilla Stoli. Not the one legged Russian chick, that was her cousin.

Anyway, Irina was in some pretty infamous scenes but none better than when she went toe-to-toe with Tony's Polish maid after calling the house.

I wish that convo between Irina and the maid was like five minutes longer. Absolutely hilarious.

Irinia was played by Oksana Lada who is now 47 but still an absolute rocket. She doesn't come with your purchase of The Stugots but her IG is still worth a look. She still gets the old dinghy going.

Famous boat from ‘The Sopranos’ up for sale in Connecticut

United Yacht Sales listing agent Paul Ouimette shared this picture of Tony Soprano's yacht...

STAMFORD, Conn. (WFSB) - One of Tony Soprano’s yachts is listed for sale right here in Connecticut.

United Yacht Sales listed the New Jersey mob boss’s Custom Carolina Sportfish for sale in Stamford earlier this summer.

Listing agent Paul Ouimette says interest in the vessel has been “off the charts”.

The current owners from Connecticut bought the vessel in 2016, nearly 20 years after the show debuted.

They still had to change the name of the vessel to “Never Enough” in order to avoid attention, Ouimette said on Friday afternoon.

United Yacht Sales provided this picture of the vessel's interior.

“Never Enough” was constructed in 1999 by Cape Fear and later featured in HBO’s “The Sopranos” during prominent episodes such as the show’s pilot.

Three different yachts were used to portray “The Stugots” and “The Stugots II” during the filming of “The Sopranos”.

The particular model that United Yacht Sales has listed is one of the only vessels to appear in the pilot episode in 1999.

Tony Soprano’s boat, The Stugots, on sale again — for $299K

Fans of “The Sopranos” can set sail on the infamous boat the show’s patriarch rode.

The Stamford, Conn.-based yacht brokerage firm is representing the boat’s current owner, who purchased it in 2016 and renamed it. (In some Sicilian circles, the term “stugots” is slang referring to male genitalia.)

“My client purchased this Cape Fear in 2016 mostly because he and his family love to fish,” broker Paul Ouimette said . “Of course there is a cool factor to having the boat that was in ‘The Sopranos’ and makes for a great conversation piece. People want to experience a piece of television history.”

Tony Soprano's boat The Stugots is officially up for sale and listed at $300,000

Although the sopranos ended in 2007, an iconic piece of its of the show's history is currently for sale..

Tony Soprano boat

Fans of The Sopranos can now own Tony Sopranos’ (played by James Gandolfini) treasured boat as the vessel has officially gone up for sale.

The 47-foot Cape Fear yacht which featured in the iconic HBO cult classic and unforgettably named The Stugots has been listed for $299,000.

Now named Never Enough, the yacht is docked at Stamford, Connecticut, and is ready for a new owner after it was purchased in 2016.

The vessel is a convertible boat that boasts two full bathrooms and two cabins, as well as touchscreen controls at the helm.

According to UnitedYacht.com , it’s powered by twin Detroit Diesel DDEC 6V92TA 625hp engines and also includes high gloss teak interior cabinetry.

The Stugots

In a statement, United Yacht Sales broker Paul Ouimette shared: “My client purchased this Cape Fear in 2016 mostly because he and his family love to fish.

“Of course, there is a cool factor to having the boat that was in The Sopranos, and makes for a great conversation piece. People want to experience a piece of television history.”

Paul also renamed the boat Never Enough as Stugots is Italian slang for genitalia and he didn’t want to draw too much attention.

The Sopranos fans will recall it first made an appearance on the show during a scene in the pilot episode with Tony and his mistress Irina Peltsin (Siberia M. Federico).

The Stugots

Also in the season four episode Whitecaps when Benny Fazio (Max Casella) and Little Paulie (Carl Capotorto) were blasting music from the boat while it was docked at a Jersey Shore beach house.

This was one of three vessels Tony owned throughout the duration of the show which ran from 1999 to 2007.

According to United Yacht, the Cape Fear was replaced in season two with a 43-foot Egg Harbour boat.

In the later installments, the fictional mob boss also owned The Stugots II, a 55-foot Ocean Yacht.

It’s likely the original Soprano boat will be sold soon as the broker told PEOPLE he’s been getting “a tremendous amount of calls and emails,” after it was listed on July 28.

“A lot of people want to just come and see it just to come and see it, not even prospective buyers.

“We're trying to weed through all that and get a legitimate buyer seriously interested in the boat.”

Paul added: “I have three gentlemen that seem to be very serious and are interested in coming to see the boat in the next week or so."
