Most people know two things about Tiger Woods' yacht: It's big, and it is named Privacy . As you would expect from someone who names his boat Privacy , Woods has never revealed much information about his yacht. But we can put together a profile of the yacht based on other sources of public information about it.
How Big Is Woods' Yacht?
There are some basics about the Woods' yacht that are known to be true. For example, it's 155 feet long. That's a big boat for an individual owner, but it's nowhere near the size of the biggest yachts on the seas (which top 500 feet in length), and it's not even the biggest yacht owned by a golfer: Greg Norman has a yacht that is nearly 230 feet in length.
But hey, give him a break: Woods purchased the boat in 2004. He can always get a new one if a 155-foot, 2004-vintage yacht starts to feel a little cramped in size.
How Much Woods' Boat Cost to Buy
Woods bought his yacht from Christensen Shipyards in Vancouver, Wash., for a reported $20 million. According to Power and Motor Yacht magazine, Tiger's yacht is a "155 Trideck Motor Yacht known as Hull 026."
(Ironically, the shipbuilders of Woods' Privacy allegedly violated the golfer's privacy, according to a subsequent lawsuit that Woods filed against Christensen. Woods claimed in his suit that the shipbuilders, contrary to agreement, used Woods' name and photos to promote their business. MSNBC.com reported in 2006 that the suit was settled in Woods' favor for $1.6 million.)
Woods took delivery of his yacht in time for his wedding to Elin Nordegren in 2004; the couple spent their wedding night aboard the Privacy . The Palm Beach Post has reported that it was Nordegren, prior to the wedding, who made most of the interior decorating choices for the boat.
Tiger's yacht is docked at a marina in North Palm Beach, Fla. (It is believed that Tiger Woods' house in Jupiter Island, Fla., has enough room on its Intracoastal Waterway frontage to berth Woods' yacht, although, as far as we know, Woods has never docked it there.)
Amenities, Crew and More Details About Woods' Yacht
Power and Motor Yacht magazine has reported that the Privacy has a 12,000-gallon fuel tank that will take the boat 4,000 miles, with a top speed of 17 knots.
The yacht is reported to have 6,500 square feet of living and work space and a capacity to sleep up to 21 people in a master suite and five guest rooms. It includes, according to various sources, a gym and theater, and carries multiple watercraft such as jet skis. It takes a crew of nine to operate.
People magazine has reported of Woods' yacht that it "offers all the comforts of home and then some: a 2,000-gallon water tank, five guestrooms, a Jacuzzi, a gym, an elevator, a sky-lounge bar, a walk-in refrigerator, a deck dining area that seats 12, and two built-in wall safes."
That's a nice boat!
Tiger's Other Boat: The Solitude
Woods also owns another boat, a 61-footer named Solitude . The Solitude is a dive boat: a boat scuba diving enthusiasts use to to get out to their diving destinations. It's not a yacht, in other words, but it's a good guess that as dive boats go the Solitude is a mighty fine one. It was custom built, according to People Magazine , for a cost of from $2 million to $3 million, by a company named Garlington Landeweer Marine. According to the magazine, the Solitude is docked at Pirate’s Cove Resort & Marina, about 10 minutes from Woods' estate in Jupiter Island, Fla.

Tiger Woods' $20M Yacht Named "Privacy" Is Chock-Full of Awesome Amenities
Back in 2004, 82-time PGA Tour event winner Tiger Woods decided to make a sizable purchase on a 155-foot yacht, which he named "Privacy." It cost him a cool $20 million, but he's certainly gotten his use out of it. Honestly, Tiger Woods has been one of the most successful golfers in the world, and with his net worth of $800 million today, it probably didn't hurt his wallet too much.
Most recently last year, he sent the massive superyacht to Oyster Bay in Long Island, New York, just two weeks before the 2019 PGA Championship, so that when it was over, he would have a luxurious ride back to his home in Jupiter Island, Florida.
Tiger Woods' yacht is pretty epic, as you might expect from the price tag, so let's check out some of the details about this spectacular vessel.
A Look at Tiger Woods' Yacht

Let's start off by talking about the fact that this beauty has three floors with a three-person elevator to easily move you from the main deck to the observation deck. Because of its sheer size, it comes equipped with a pair of 1,800-horsepower engines and a huge tank capable of holding 12,000 gallons of fuel. Although they are thirsty, these engines can take the vessel to a top speed of 17 knots.
There are nine bedrooms total, however, four of them are used by the nine crew members that work onboard the luxury yacht. Of course, Woods' boat features tons of entertainment and amenities for the guests, including a bar, a VIP stateroom, a full gym with all the free weights you'll need, and even an eight-person jacuzzi. If you're looking for a real adventure, you'll even find a decompression chamber for scuba diving. Even with all this, there's still additional room to store all of Woods' toys like ocean kayaks, Sea-Doo jet skis, a dinghy, and some Vespa scooters. There's pretty much no cooler way to show up to a golf club or the U.S. Open than this thing.
If I were to guess, I'd assume Tiger spent a good amount of time on his yacht Privacy during this whole COVID-19 pandemic, since it really doesn't get more ideal than this. Woods has won four different PGA championships, and he's been proving his talent on the course for many years, so next time you're at a major golf event, just look for the 155-foot yacht, and you'll know the legend has arrived.

The Most Extravagant Features Of Tiger Woods' $20 Million Luxury Superyacht
When you're a billionaire athlete like Tiger Woods, owning a fancy superyacht comes with the territory. The 15-time major winner is the owner of a 155-foot luxury yacht he bought in 2004. The yacht is aptly named "Privacy," and is reported to have an eye-watering $20 million price tag.
Woods is known to stay on his yacht during various golf tournaments. In an interview, he told Business Insider that the yacht gave him a needed break from the tournament and helped to avoid traffic chaos when traveling to the competition. Over the years, the vessel has been frequently seen docked in New York whenever he competes at PGA championship events on Long Island , or in the Bahamas where he hosts his annual golf tournament , Hero World Challenge, on the capital island of New Providence. When he's not traveling, the vessel is usually found at his home base in Jupiter, Florida.
An inside look at Privacy
Privacy is a bit smaller compared to other superyachts owned by wealthy celebrities such as Steven Spielberg or business tycoons like Amazon founder Jeff Bezos (who allegedly is going to be the owner of the world's largest sailing yacht). Business Insider once reported that a journalist had teasingly asked Woods if he felt weird about his yacht not being the "biggest yacht in the yard." Woods cheekily responded: "I'm not opposed to that."
Nevertheless, it is still an impressive luxury yacht that features three decks and is powered by twin 1,800-horsepower engines. As expected, it comes with all the amenities that a boat of its caliber has. It comfortably fits 10 to 12 people plus nine crew members on board. Additionally, this high-class cruiser has cherry woodwork in its interior.
There is lots of entertainment for everyone on board as well. Reports say that the deck has a large jacuzzi that fits up to eight people, a VIP stateroom with two queen-size cabins and a twin cabin bar, a personal gym, and even an inflatable decompression chamber for scuba diving (via USA Today ). Besides that, it also comes with a garage to fit jet skis, motorized scooters, and kayaks to have some ocean fun for both Tiger Woods and his guests.

Does Tiger Woods need a bigger boat? His yacht Privacy is dwarfed by others in Bahamas
Tiger Woods traveled by yacht to the Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas this week.
Yes, that would be the $20 million luxury vessel dubbed Privacy.
Woods, who bought the boat in 2004, has taken it around the world, including the 2018 U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills in New York.
Now, it's parked in the Bahamas, which is not surprising.
What might be surprising is how this 6,500-square-foot craft is dwarfed by other boats in dock. The one on the far left is Tiger's.
The Golf Channel's Dan Hicks quipped that it "might be time for Tiger to trade that in" when comparing Privacy to other absurdly large and much more expensive watercraft.

5 things to know about Tiger Woods’s extravagant yacht, Privacy
Tiger Woods traveled to the U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills in atypical fashion: aboard his luxury yacht, Privacy. Here’s what you need to know about this impressive-looking ship.
1. This isn’t the first time that Woods has used the yacht as transport for a major. He also stayed on the boat during the U.S. Open at Winged Foot , attracting plenty of notice from the locals.
2. The yacht measures 6,500 square feet, with space for 21 people to sleep. It’s also got a gym, jacuzzi and theater. It is decorated with cherry wood, beige marble, white carpets, and white silk walls.
3. It’s reportedly worth $20 million and costs $2 million a year to maintain and run, including a crew of nine. Reports circulated in 2011 that Woods was trying to sell the yacht after his ex-wife Elin turned it down as part of her divoce settlement in their split.
4. The Hamptons yacht club where Woods’s boat is currently docked charges $1,085 a day for a craft of that size.
5. Woods joked on Tuesday that his “dinghy” would help him to avoid the sluggish traffic in the area around Shinnecock Hills this week, a problem bedeviling players, fans and media alike.[image:14158807]
Tiger Woods’ $20 million yacht Privacy: Pictures, length, features
Back in 2004, Tiger Woods spent $20 million he had lying around to buy a massive yacht he famously named Privacy.
Get it? He wants privacy -- and he did long before he made $1 billion, earned a net worth in the hundreds of millions, had two kids and got divorced. Now, Woods will potentially make Privacy his home base to compete in the rare PGA Tour event he plays at this stage of his career.
Woods' yacht, which is 155 feet long, is every bit worth the $20 million price tag. Privacy has three stories on it, including a main deck, a second level and an observation deck.
Woods had a bedroom and living quarters on Privacy so he can stay on his yacht in lieu of staying at a rented home or hotel when he plays in golf tournaments near the dock. He stayed on Privacy during the 2006 US Open at Winged Foot Golf Club, and he missed the cut in his first tournament back to competition since the death of his father Earl. He stayed on Privacy throughout the 2018 US Open at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club in the Hamptons on Long Island in New York, as well the 2019 PGA Championship, also on Long Island.
Privacy has five bedrooms and can hold 10 people staying on board. There are also four separate cabins for crew members, good enough to hold a crew of nine. There's a jacuzzi for eight, too. There's a bar and a gym on board. Everything features cherry wood appointments. The boat even has an elevator for three.
Woods' boat has the capacity to carry other water vehicles, including multiple jet skis and/or kayaks. There's a decompression space for SCUBA diving.
The pair of 1,800-horsepower engines fuel the boat, which has the capacity to hold 12,000 gallons of fuel. Multiple generators provide electric power for the boat, too.

It's all in the name, and it's all in tiger’s game, spending big on luxury, the yacht’s maintenance cost.
Tiger Woods has been living life in his very own 'heaven-on-earth' yacht, named Privacy, during the U.S open. Docked near the Shinnecock Hills in New York, Woods chose the more convenient yet costly approach to steer clear of the horrendous traffic golfers encounter on their way to the game. Privacy has affluently given in Five staterooms for guests, four rooms for the crew, a gym, an eight-person hot tub, kayaks, scooters, and whatnot. This absurdly large and exotically expensive watercraft has been one of Tiger’s most significant investments . Besides traveling to the Bahamas for the Hero World Challenge, Tiger has taken this lump-some beauty in many different locations.
The Privacy yacht of Tiger Woods has a palatial prominence in the large luxury club of big boats. One must be aware of Privacy’s multifaceted facilities and amenities it tags along with for Woods and his ventures.
Privacy, as what Tiger titled the mega 55 million dollar custom-built watercraft he owns, was kept that name so he could keep his personal life relatively private. Emerging a website for the same, Tiger Woods and his alleged affairs and life have always been a private game for the world.
This 100-footer has been crafted and modeled after James Bond’s submarines and was made very clear about his prime-time derived inspiration. Woods’ Privacy yacht is no less than luxury on the water for a capacity of more than one person’s needs with its crew pack of nine members, a three-person-elevator, and an eight-person jacuzzi fitting. The yacht inhibits a travel speed of approximately 17 knots, making the watercraft an excellent choice of Woods, eschewing away the road traffic.

This commodious 47-meter creation also covers a large bar, a station to fill scuba tanks, and an inflatable decompression chamber, making it plush and posh for the up-market. The cherry woodwork has beautifully encompassed the interiors of this big boat with a VIP stateroom aft and two queen-size cabins amidship and a twin cabin, making ample room for Woods and his frequent tour buddies, as rightly mentioned in USA today .
The workout room has been converted into the fitness space from the lush cabin it originally was crafted as. Tiger’s workout necessitates a treadmill, exercise bike, and free weights being ornately equipped in the arena. The transparent stairs and a cherry handrail add the oomph to the yacht from an aesthetic point of view.
Tiger’s open floor plan entails a main living area with only a single divider between the saloon and the dining room. The functionalities cost up to 2 million dollars a year to operate smoothly. Tiger, the highest-paid athlete's yacht, is a trifold fiberglass motor yacht with a numbing 9-meter beam up in the roar. The motor force on the yacht derives from a pair of 1,800 hp MTU/Detroit Diesel motors, while two 99 kilowatt Northern Lights generators providing electrical power are the substantial swanking components.
Tiger Woods’ yacht can carry three SeaDoos, two ocean kayaks, and two Vespa scooters, and that’s not all it. This massive boat can hold up to a whopping 12,000 gallons of gas. Powered by twin 1800-horsepower, the type of fuel aggravates the support the best of this booming boat craft, as stated in the Yacht Harbour .
The golf player surely doesn’t face costing issues for his water mansion. Privacy costs around 2,40,000 dollars per week which count up to 1.6 million dollars gushing in water, technically per year. Wood’s numbers plummet quite a bit if the boat's utility has extended periods.
Tiger’s net worth pulls all strings to maintain such a luxury lifestyle with the Privacy boat, as he’s made more than 100 million dollars single-handedly during his career. Residing his heart near the boundless beauty, Antigua - right on a beach with his own beautiful home, thus privacy is safe, secured, and un-stowed when he’s not using it.
The 14-time major champion in golf with a net worth of approximately $700 million has a stunner crew for this super-boat. The ship’s operating budget floats around for the yacht maintenance and crew member salaries - two-thirds of operating expenses, excluding the benefits. The shining nine members help the boat afloat and manage the supplies, food, and other miscellaneous costs such as paying off fines imparted on by authorities - which also takes away one-third of the cost as revealed in Wheels inquirer .
Being an ultimate lump of luxury on the water, Privacy has not failed to shock and surprise us with the available amenities and provisions for Tiger and his ventures.

Tiger Woods Yacht: Everything You Want To Know
Tiger Woods is one of only three professional athletes in the world who has achieved billionaire status alongside LeBron James and Michael Jordan. As you can imagine, with that kind of cash comes the ability to buy a very nice boat and in 2004 he shelled out for an impressive toy. He purchased the yacht with his ex-wife just before their 2004 wedding and they apparently spent their wedding night on board, so it was something of a wedding gift to themselves.
What’s the Name of Tiger Woods’ Yacht?
Woods chose to name his yacht Privacy, and you may know the story behind that one to a greater or lesser degree. When the yacht was commissioned back in 2004, Woods actually ended up suing the yacht maker Christensen. The company, at the time a fairly well known and reliable shipyard, had been using Wood’s name and images of the yacht and Woods himself in their promotional materials. So, basically, trying to get business off of his name and the work they did for him.
Woods sued the company and by 2006 the case was settled out of court. The yacht makers had nothing to say on the record regarding the case, the yacht or Woods after that.
In addition to this scandal, Woods has been constantly in the eye of the media and the paparazzi for most of his career, including some well known scandals that happened even after he bought the yacht, so the Privacy name was well chosen.
How Big is Tiger Woods Yacht?
Tiger Woods’ yacht is a respectable 155 feet in length with a 29.5 foot beam. It features three decks and while it’s nowhere near one of the largest yachts in the world , it’s actually one of the biggest celebrity-owned yachts on the water. Most of the larger vessels out there are owned by industrialists, royalty and other titans in the business world.
How Fast is Tiger Woods Yacht?
Word is that Privacy has a cruising speed of about 16 knots with a top speed of 18 knots. Not a speed demon by any means, but no one buys a 155-foot long yacht for racing. It’s powered by two 1,800-horsepower MTU engines and features a 12,000 gallon fuel tank. The yacht has a range of 4,000 nautical miles.
How Much Did Tiger Woods’ Yacht Cost?
In 2004, Woods is said to have dropped about $20 million on his super yacht. Again, not nearly the most expensive yacht in the world but clearly quite an expensive vessel in its own right. Because it’s such a large vessel it requires a crew of 9 to keep it operating. That, along with the fuel costs for that big 12,000 gallon tank and various other costs of operation means it costs Woods an additional $2 million or so per year to keep the boat running.
What’s the Interior of Tiger Woods Yacht Like?
With a name like Privacy it’s no surprise that there aren’t a ton of details about Woods’ yacht but, that said, it’s been nearly 20 years so it’s been around long enough that we do know a good deal of what’s going on inside the ship. He once gave the Golf Channel a tour and they were able to snap some still images that give an idea of what it’s like inside which you can check out in the video above.
The boat was designed to accommodate up to 10 guests in 5 staterooms. There’s an additional four cabins that can handle the crew members. The VIP stateroom is aft and there are two queen size cabin amidships as well as a twin cabin. All told there’s said to be about 6,500 square feet of living space on board. The upper deck of the vessel is also an observation deck for those looking to just relax and enjoy the view.
Woods has been known to live on the yacht when he’s golfing, rather than staying at hotels like some other golfers. He first lived on board during the 2006 US Open at Winged Foot Golf Club. Later, he was aboard Privacy during the 2018 US Open at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club on Long Island in New York, and then again during the 2019 PGA Championship.
There’s a gym as you’d probably expect for the yacht of an athlete. It’s said to house a treadmill, exercise bike, and free weights. There’s also a jacuzzi tub big enough for eight people at a time. In addition, there’s a movie theater on board as well as a well-stocked bar.
The dining area is large and opulent, as you’d expect, and there is room for 12 guests to enjoy a meal. With so many people eating you’d need a well-stocked kitchen and it seems like the yacht has a walk-in fridge in the galley so there’s little worry about not having enough on board to keep everyone fed.
When it comes to having fun, the yacht has a few water toys available for Woods and his guests. There are three jet skis on board as well as a pair of ocean kayaks. When you reach land there are even two Vespa scooters you can take out. There’s also scuba gear and apparently an entire decompression chamber. You can also fill up the air tanks on board as well.
As for the finer details, that stuff is still kind of up in the air as Woods has not let many people on board to photograph anything in the years he’s owned the vessel. Some of those who have been aboard describe the interior as being pretty classical as far as yachts go. Features are done in cherry woodwork and there’s supposed to be a staircase connecting the three decks with transparent steps and a cherry handrail. Of course, if you’re not inclined to be doing any stair climbing on a yacht, there’s an elevator on board as well.
The main floor is designed with an open concept to take advantage of the flow of the whole vessel and, of course, ensure that passengers get to enjoy the most of not just the features but the views while they’re out on the water.
Alongside that 12,000 gallon fuel tank, there’s a 2,000 gallon water tank to keep freshwater on board for crew and passengers. Two 99-kilowatt Northern Lights generators provide electrical power to keep the lights on for everyone.
Details on any security features are definitely scant, but it’s been said there are at least two safes on board for passengers to store valuables if need be.
What is the Solitude?
You may have heard that Woods has a boat named Solitude as opposed to Privacy. Well, as far as we can tell, he owns both. Solitude was purchased back in 2010 and the rumored price was $3 million. Solitude was bought as a dive boat as opposed to a luxury yacht that Woods planned to be living on while he’s golfing in coastal cities.
As we mentioned above, the Privacy has a decompression chamber, scuba gear and more scuba-related amenities. Woods is an avid scuba diver as was his ex-wife. He even learned free-diving and spearfishing. The dive boat seems to have been purchased to more specifically focus on the hobby for his ex, with whom he is still friends.
The Bottom Line
Tiger Woods’ yacht called Privacy cost him around $20 million back in 2004. It’s a 155-foot vessel with room for 10 passengers and 9 crew including an interior VIP stateroom. It features a good deal of fun water toys like Sea Doos, two ocean kayaks, and scuba gear for the scuba diving fans, as well as a full twin cabin gym, a jacuzzi, a sweeping staircase, and more. Woods still makes frequent use of the yacht and even lives on board when he’s working various golf tours and opens.

Tiger Woods’ Yacht: SS Privacy
He might have been in the news for all the wrong reasons, but Golf legend Tiger Woods is undeniably one of the richest people in the world. And although his wealth might have bought him many envious things, one of the things he might be very proud of would be his luxury yacht, SS Privacy.
Built by the Seattle based shipyard, Christensen, SS privacy was bought by Woods in the 2004 for a whopping $20 million. Ironically named Privacy, since his private life was anything but private last year, this expensive yacht has come to be the desire and envy of many. Tiger Woods’s expensive yacht was apparently a wedding gift to his wife Elin Nordegren, who divorced him last year following a very public and turbulent turn of events.
Taken over three years to build, Woods’s yacht is 155 foot with a 29.5 beam and has one master suite and six staterooms. The 6500 square-foot wonder can sleep almost twenty-one people and has been indulgently decorated with dark cherry wood. The walls are covered in white silk and the furniture has been covered with upholstered leather throughout giving it a rich and expensive feel. The boat’s deck includes a grand bar and a Jacuzzi big enough to sit eight people.
The handrails of the beautiful staircase are also done in the splendid cherry-wood but the steps are transparent for a more floating appearance. Besides the staircase there is an elevator which can hold 3 people. The master or the VIP stateroom lies towards the stern of the yacht and two queen-sized rooms are located in the middle of the vessel. There are two twin cabins one of which has been converted in to a fitness room that is fully equipped with a treadmill, free-weights and spinning bike.
On a more technical side, this expensive yacht is built with Trideck fiberglass and looks a true masterpiece. The yacht is fitted with a pair of 1800 hp MTU/Detroit diesel motor and the electrical power is supplied by two 99kilowatts Northern Lights generators . Equipped with a station to fill scuba tanks and inflatable decompression chamber, you can be sure that this yacht is pure luxury from the fact that it often carries two SeaDoos, two Vespa scooters and two ocean kayaks on board. And for those of you who were wondering about entertainment on board, Tiger Wood’s yacht will not disappoint, as it comes with a state-of -the-art theater projection system.
Tiger Woods might have bought this luxurious wonder of the water to spend his family life in a little bit of privacy, but with everything that has happened, he should really reconsider changing the name of the yacht. Although the rumor mills are churning out stories of Woods allegedly putting his dream yacht up for sale, there could be a little bad news for him as far as selling the vessel is concerned. The yacht market has gone down severely since the flourishing days of business in 2004 when Woods had bought this expensive yacht. But what with the failing economy and recession, he might have to sell his pretty boat for 20 to 30% below the original price.
But whatever the situation might be, the fact is that Tiger Wood’s heavenly vessel is the stuff only “rich” dreams are made of. It is an ostentatious yet luxurious creation, which deserves to be appreciated for what it is. And whoever said that money cannot buy happiness, obviously never saw SS Privacy.

Tiger Woods' New Yacht
Photograph shows golfer tiger woods' new yacht., david mikkelson, published nov. 28, 2009.
Claim: Photograph shows golfer Tiger Woods' new yacht.
Status: False.
Example: [Collected via e-mail, 2006]
Not many people know that Tiger Woods owns a yacht.
Ever since the golfer Greg Norman got his big yacht, people around the world have marvelled at how big it is.
Well, Tiger Woods earned a lot more money playing golf than Greg Norman, and he invested it in all the right places so he too could have a yacht.
Recently, Tiger withdrew some of his money and bought a yacht. He had it decked out to his specifications, with all the things he wanted on a yacht.
He secretly did all of this until the yacht was ready to set sail.
A photographer on assignment to photograph sea turtles in the ocean happened upon the yacht during its initial shakedown cruise, and got the very first photo of Tiger Woods' yacht.
This is Tiger's new yacht.
Origins: The above-displayed picture of golfer "Tiger Woods' new yacht" is easily dismissable not just as a fake, but as a two-step manipulation: First the photograph of the aircraft carrier was layered with a lawn, golf hole, and clubhouse, then someone expanded on the joke by adding the golfer figure and the name "Tiger" across the bow:
The interesting aspect lies not in the analysis of the image, but in why so many readers considered it plausible enough to forward to us for verification.
Certainly one element at work here is that Tiger Woods' golfing prowess (in combination with his youth and good looks) has made him not only one of the most recognizable celebrities in the U.S. (and many other parts of the world), but also one of the highest-earning sports figures of his
time. (In 2006, Forbes listed Tiger at #5 on its "Top 100 Celebrities" power rankings, estimating his income from tournament winnings and endorsements at $90 million.)
The linkster also enhanced his reputation for big spending and extravagance in 2006 when he shelled out a reported $38 million to purchase a 10-acre waterfront estate in Jupiter Island, Florida. (Perhaps not coincidentally, it was right around then that photographs of an opulent Hawaiian beachfront rental estate began circulating via e-mail mistakenly identified as pictures of "Tiger Woods' house.")
Finally, many people who inquired about this image probably recalled Woods' name being associated with a big, expensive yacht, as Tiger plunked down a reported $20 million in 2004 to purchase a 155-foot craft. (Several news outlets also reported the somewhat amusing coincidence that Woods, who named his yacht Privacy , filed a privacy-rights lawsuit against the yacht's builders, claiming they used his name and image in promotional materials without authorization. The suit was settled in Woods' favor for a reported $1.6 million.)
So, although we can say that Tiger Woods does not own a floating golf course the size of an aircraft carrier, we might just have to qualify that statement with the word "yet" ...

A Closer Look at Tiger Woods’ Yacht “Privacy”
Tiger Woods changed the face of golf. He was the reason why the sport garnered a renewed interest even from those that had no interest in it before. That was in 1996 when he turned pro. It’s been over two decades now, and the professional golfer is still going at it. Sure, he’s been through rough times in his career, but he continues to work hard in order to still be the golfer that everyone has admired all these years. Because of his hard work and dedication to his craft, Tiger’s net worth is an astounding $800 million. Sure he’s got a house in one of the richest towns in Florida, but what’s impressed us more is his yacht Privacy. He’s definitely living and enjoying the boating community he moved into back in 2010, and we’re going to take a closer look at the yacht that’s allowed him to do so.
Over the course of his career, Tiger has made over $1.2 billion USD in earnings. That’s really how he can afford his superyacht that’s currently valued at $20 million (also the purchase price). It’s a lot of money for the average person, but it’s basically chump change for the PGA Champion. Tiger uses his yacht quite often, especially after his tournaments. It’s the perfect retreat spot for him. Considering that he lives in an area where people normally vacation, you can imagine that Tiger’s probably on his yacht quite often. The yacht is called Privacy, and it certainly offers plenty of room to get just that. Privacy is roughly 155 ft (47 meters) in length. Just to put that into perspective, an average yacht is about 33 ft in length. Tiger’s yacht is roughly 5 times the standard yacht. Tiger’s never really talked about his yacht before, and we can gather as much from the name he’s given it. He purchased the vessel back in 2004 with his now ex-wife Elin Nordegren. In fact, the yacht was probably purchased just for their wedding. Tiger and Elin spent their wedding night aboard Privacy.
Elin decorated most of the interior of the yacht. Majority of the design choices inside and outside the yacht were also mostly Elin’s choices. It appears that Tiger hasn’t done any major changes to the yacht after the two divorced. We really can’t blame him because Privacy is made quite well—with luxury in mind. Christensen Shipyards, a company in Vancouver, Washington that specializes in custom-built yachts, made the yacht according to Tiger and Elin’s specifications. Unfortunately, Tiger filed a lawsuit against Christensen, citing that the yacht builders violated a mutual agreement that they weren’t going to use Tiger’s name to promote their business. The company apparently used Tiger’s photo and name to do exactly what they weren’t supposed to. Christensen ended up settling the lawsuit and paid Tiger $1.6 million in the process. Tiger docks his yacht at a marina close to his home in North Palm Beach, Florida. While he may have enough room in his Jupiter, Florida home for this 155-foot vessel, Tiger’s never really docked the yacht at home. It probably blocks the view too much, but his superyacht is a looker all on its own with distinctive designs around the hull . It features three levels that maximize the 6,500 square feet of living space. The vessel can sleep up to 21 people, including guests and a cabin crew. The yacht has 5 cabins that can sleep up to 10 guests, and it has 4 cabins for the rest of the crew.
Privacy is all about luxury, and it has all the amenities you could ever think of. The boat deck features a large, gorgeous bar and a Jacuzzi designed to fit 8 people. It also has a deck dining area that can comfortably sit 12 people. The gym is a full-sized facility that has a treadmill, an exercise bike, free weights, and more. The yacht also has a three-person elevator, a walk-in refrigerator, and two built-in wall safes. The interior of Privacy is designed with modern, luxurious touches. The cherry woodwork is stunning and can be found all over the yacht. The main floor has an open floor concept, and it provides impressive views of the interior and the outdoors. The kitchen is fully equipped and is state-of-the-art. It has a clean look to it that makes you want to actually cook. But of course, Tiger’s got his crew to take care of all that.
The yacht is equipped with all the watersports equipment you can think of. There are at least 3 jet skis, 2 ocean kayaks, and even a couple of Vespa scooters available for when the guests want to explore land when Privacy is docked. It even has a decompression chamber to go along with all the scuba gear on board. The superyacht can hold up to 12,000 gallons of fuel, which really can take you anywhere you want to go. It can hold up to 2,000 gallons of water and cruises at 16 knots. Privacy’s top speed is at 18 knots and has a 4,000nm range. Everything on Privacy is about relaxation and enjoyment. This is the kind of yacht that you could never get tired of. That’s probably the whole idea when Tiger purchased this yacht as his retreat. But he does own a smaller yacht called Solitude. It’s definitely nothing compared to the size and amenities of Privacy, but why own one when you can have two? As of right now, Privacy is not available for charter nor is it available for sale. We’re thinking Tiger Woods might hold on to Privacy until he’s ready to get into an even bigger, more luxurious yacht.

Going up a floor is also made so much more convenient with the yacht’s elevator that can fit up to three persons for your little menage a trois.
Did you know that Tiger Woods Yacht Privacy has its own four bedrooms – fitting up to a total of twenty-one people?
Time to partaayyy dude.
Privacy has four extra cabins for his crew, four other bedrooms, and a master suite.
Yup, a master bedroom – see the picture above…
… providing you with all the comfort of home (see our article on his house right here) while sailing the high seas.
This is the outdoor jacuzzi of his huge yacht, which can accommodate up to eight people – fun.
And of course, the living area. The place where the host and his guests can enjoy some chillaxed chitchats while sailing.

It is also fully-equipped, which means you won’t have to worry about that specific piece of equipment you normally use – for it’s literally all here.
So, if you need to shed some caviar calories from your dinner while you’re on Tiger’s yacht, you can just hit the gym (with quite a view I might add)…
It just oozes luxury and elegance, right?
How much is Tiger Woods Yacht?
In 2004, Tiger Woods bought his 155 foot, Tri-Deck Motor Yacht (Hull 026), Privacy for a snip at $20 mill.
He purchased it from a Canadian company, Christensen Shipyards.
Sidebar here – he’s suing them for using his name and photos to advertise their enterprise.
Woods wasn’t happy about it, and the lawsuit ended with a $1.6 million settlement in favor of the famous golfer.
Seems a bit harsh – I mean was he disappointed with his purchase? Would he only give it 2 stars on Google? What?
Other details about Tiger’s yacht
Privacy is one expensive piece of kit. Yet, it’s also pricey to run it…
Must admit, I was so busy imagining myself in the jacuzzi I outright forgot to consider the running costs.
Dammit, that’s gonna mean I’ll struggle to afford this sucker.
… according to reports, to use the infamous Tiger Woods yacht, you’ll have to fill up the 12,000-gallon fuel tank that can run up to 4,000 miles.
It also has a tank that is filled with 2,000 gallons of water to fulfill every requirement within the yacht.
Besides that, Tigers Yacht Privacy is a powerful beast.
Since it has a pair of 1,800-horsepower engines to keep the boat running, there are also multiple generators inside the vessel to bring power to the inside of the big ship.
Last but not least…
It’s also the epitome of speed on the water, as it can go as fast as 17 knots.
Fine if he’s in a hurry to get to the PGA Championship.
Who designed Privacy?
The 6,500 square feet living and working space of the yacht’s interior was mostly designed by no other than…
Elin Nordegren.
It was also Woods’ ex-wife who chose most of the furniture inside the yacht…
Everything from the fitments found in the master suite to those in the galley.
How many times did Woods stay on Privacy?
Woods actually stayed in his $20 million yacht thrice in history… Flip… I just worked that out. That’s $6.666 Mill each time he used it. The very first time was during the 2006 U.S. Open in Winged Foot Golf Club, New York. Twelve years later, Tiger took his yacht and slept on the water for the 2018 U.S. Open in Shinnecock Hills. Long Island, New, York. And Lastly…
…Tiger’s yacht docked at Oyster Bay, New York, for the 2019 PGA Championship.
What else is inside Tiger Woods yacht, Privacy?
Knowing the size of Tiger Woods’ yacht, it’s not surprising that it can hold up to seven other crafts.
Yes, you’ve read it right…
Tiger Woods yacht will house:
…two ocean kayaks, two motorized scooters, and three jet skis – all inside Privacy!
Besides that…
Privacy also has a decompression space – for Woods and his friends to use whenever they want to do some SCUBA diving.
Woods’s yacht Privacy needs nine people to operate it.
Are you curious about how many people it takes to operate his yacht?
Well, it just needs nine people.
Nine employees to have this vast yacht move and work.
His crew members stay and share in four separate cabins while onboard.
Or maybe they stay in the Master Room when no one is looking…
You decide.
Only kidding, hehe.
Where does Tiger Woods dock his yacht?
Believe it or not…
…Woods has never docked his yacht, Privacy in the beachfront of his Jupiter Island Mansion in Florida.
(I would ‘so’ want to do that so I could see it from my kitchen window!).
Woods is said to dock his yacht at a marina around North Palm Beach, Florida.
Tiger has never explained this… but then again, why should he?
Summary: Tiger Woods Yacht $20 million Privacy
Well, that’s it for Tiger Woods’s $20 million yacht, Privacy. But, did you know he has another boat?
He owns a 61-footer scuba boat named Solitude, that he and his friends use whilst diving.
It’s also custom-built and costs circa 3 million dollars!
I mean, it’s no question that Woods can afford these yachts.
And rumor has it that he spends $2 million annually to run them.
Well, with his net worth of almost a billion dollars, he can well afford his yacht and boat.
But, I particularly liked how his yacht was designed to be quite so luxurious and elegant. Yet it didn’t scream OTT, it’s just classy.

What Tiger Woods purchased Solitude?
According to sources, the marriage between Woods and Elin Nordegren was struggling to survive in 2010. However, after facing difficulties in his married life, the golfer was looking forward to something in February 2010. It was a new dive boat specially designed to cater to the needs of Woods’ wife, Elin. The golfer named the ship ‘Solitude’. A source told ‘People,’ “Solitude is a dive boat designed for Elin, who loves the sport.”

The specially customized boat of the legendary golfer was built by Garlington Landeweer Marine company. The boat, a.k.a. “The Solitude,” is a dive boat generally used by divers. The 15-times major championship winner paid $3 million for “Solitude”.

Fans might not be aware, but the golfer is known for his diving skills and often indulged in diving with his ex-wife, Elin. Another unknown fact about the pro is that he is interested in spearfishing. The PGA member learned free-diving to pursue his passion for spearfishing without an air tank.
Do the former couple talk to each other?
Tiger Woods and his ex-wife Elin Nordegren are now friends , as reported by ‘People’ in 2018. According to sources, the former couple is now closer than they ever were during their marriage. Their friendship is on good terms, mainly because they never wanted their kids, Charlie and Sam, to face any issues due to their split. Therefore, they decided to be friends and are going strong, sharing custody of their kids.

Five-Star LSU Football Commit Bryce Underwood Makes Michigan High School History
Zack nagy | 11 hours ago.
Belleville (Mich.) five-star quarterback Bryce Underwood has etched his name into the Michigan high school record books.
After tossing a pair of early touchdowns on Friday night, the No. 1 player in America broke the Michigan high school record for career touchdown passes with his 125th score.
It was a monster day for Underwood after getting in the end zone over a handful of times and leading Belleville to a 65-0 victory.
The five-star LSU commit headlines a program-changing 2025 class for the Tigers with multiple blue-chip prospects prepared to put pen to paper in December during the Early Signing Period.
LSU commit Bryce Underwood ( @BryceUnderwoo16 ) breaks two state records with six touchdown performance. 🔥🏈 Full story ⬇️ https://t.co/Og3kONXHFh pic.twitter.com/8z01YcyQEX — MaxPreps (@MaxPreps) September 14, 2024
Here's what On3 Sports' Charles Power said of Underwood following Week 1 of his senior campaign just a few weeks ago:
“Underwood made his senior season debut and showcased a degree of athleticism and rushing ability we had yet to see,” Power said . "On3's long-time No. 1 prospect is well known as a top arm talent, but it was his legs that took center stage on Friday.
“The 6-foot-4, 214-pounder was unstoppable on designed runs and showed outstanding vision along with improved burst and top-end speed as he consistently pulled away from the defense. Underwood finished with 177 yards and two touchdowns on just seven carries as his Belleville (Mich.) High team edged out a tight win. That doesn’t include a 48-yard touchdown run that was called back due to a needless block in the back.
“While we’ve known Underwood to be a gifted athlete, this is the most designed runs we’ve seen from him in a game and the best he’s looked running the ball to this point. For perspective, his 177 yards on Friday nearly eclipsed his season rushing total from the 2023 season. The combination of Underwood’s arm talent and athleticism makes him one of the more physically-gifted quarterbacks to come through the high school ranks in recent cycles.”
